12. Do they have a difficult time when separated from each other, or are they fairly independent?

I'd say all of them have a healthy / appropriate distance from each other and are pretty content with it. But I will say, Imani/Nick are definitely the ones who spend the most time together and feel it the most when they're not around each other. I like to think they spend a lot of their free-time together, so whenever Nick is away Imani gets quite lonely and misses him a lot :< it's not necessarily neediness or codependency, she's just always used to him being there and it's nice.

17. How well do they communicate? Are they open with their feelings/thoughts or more reserved? Why?

Theo/Sloane - Their communication is 10/10 but they could work on how they say things! They're both brutally honest (in a jokey unserious way too) so I feel like a lot of their concerns would be addressed instantly. They also strike me as the couple who will openly say whatever thought pops in their head - without judgement - and just slip into random conversations. They just get each other.

Similar thing for Luci/Astur! Since they started off kind of as complete strangers, they'd be more direct about communication (if that makes sense??). But there's never any hard feelings. It's something that's help lay down a foundation of honesty in their relationship. Just being 100% Though I feel like emotions wise they're more reserved. Especially Luci.

On the opposite end, I feel like during their relationships Valeria/Sunwoo weren't very open with each other. Unless it was something negative that needed to be addressed, they had no problem airing that out with each other. As for more soft and loving communication? That rarely happened, mostly due to Sunwoo's hesitance. Val mostly tried to go along with it and be like "yes I'm totally fine :))) " all the repressed emotions from both ends. (also, this has inspired a new headcanon about their relationship. pls see me for more details <3 asjkl )

19. Do they wear each other’s clothes/jewelry?

Lance/Quinn - a hundred percent yes! Sometimes she'll lounge around in his shirts, which are cutely oversized on her. I also feel like Quinn likes to clip little pink bows or accessories onto Lance's clothes for "more color" and he's like 'cute' and goes along with it so Quinn can be happy. and he secretly likes that they kinda match.

Dean/Isa - I think she would like to borrow his jackets, shirts, and maybe hats to accessorize her outfit with. Dean lowkey has a lot of cool clothing tbh. I could also see her lounging around in his pajama pants or sweatpants! On the flipside, Dean would occasionally borrow her necklaces and rings because he likes accessories.

Trinity/Duygu - Trini always lets Duygu borrow or even keep a lot of her clothing items of accessories. It started off as Trinity being like "wait I have just the thing to make your outfit perfect" and now it's a regular thing. They also share lipstick!

31. Do they often go out on dates? What are these like?

Trinity/Duygu - Every weekend and it's non negotiable! They both have very busy schedules during the work week, so they always make it a point to keep the weekends for themselves as much as possible. It's usually always Trinity booking them dinner at a high end restaurant or them going to a brunch or farmer's market in the morning.

Similar to above, Audrie/Luca like to reserve weekends for each other, as long as there's no prior commitments. Sometimes it's quiet dates with each other at a nice restaurant, or staying in to cook and have a bottle of wine. Sometimes they'll do more fun kid-related activities when Mikey is with them. Her favorite is making sunday dinner, where she'll invite Luca and Mikey over for a small, intimate dinner. Very sweet and cozy, they feel like a family

On the opposite end, the couple that rarely goes on dates would be Lance/Lucy. Believe me, he wants to take her out all the time and asks her time after time, but Lucy always has an excuse or an obligation to her actual boyfriend. On the rare chance they do have dates, he plans something very private but also very elaborate so he can 'show off' and impress her. It probably a once a month thing but trust me, he goes all out :') lol

Also !! we haven't done anything with them yet, but Aisha/Mary definitely give off the vibes where Aisha always asks Mary out on spontaneous dates. It's always like "wanna go out to dinner or dancing in like an hour??" or "we're going to paris in a few days wanna go??"

48. Do they talk about their future together? Why or why not?

Trinity/Duygu - Ok so Trin has definitely made hints and references to wanting to marry Duygu and things like that. I don't believe it's been a full blown serious conversation yet, but the way Trinity speaks about the future definitely has Duygu included.

Miyoung/Flynn - Hear me out, they do talk about their future together but not in a serious way. It's almost always just Miyoung making offhanded joking comments like "when we live together we're getting 10 cats okay" or "I like dolphins. we should have them at our beach wedding" - or her sending those cutesy relationship memes about being together forever. It's very nonchalant that Flynn probably can't tell if she's serious or not. Even Miyoung doesn't know LOL

Lance/Lucy - let's not start that conversation lmaooo

Everyone may not get all four, but my goal was to cover all of our ships. I often have a lot of thoughts <3

Imani & Nick

she always cooks for him! she doesn't necessarily go out of her way to do it, but she's always making healthy food and doing meal preps for the week for herself, so she'll often make extra for nick.

gym dates are essential for them!! but they always work out separately. It's their way of spending time together while also focusing on their own goals and personal space.

Imani loves to spend a lot of her nights around Nick. Unless Nick is out of town doing tennis tournaments, she'll always text him asking if he can come over or vice versa. It's always something casual like homemade dinner and watching movies together.

Imani is the more protective one in their relationship. Not only does she look out for his health, but if someone's trying to mess with Nick then she'll stand up for him because she doesn't let things slide.

Lance & Lucy

Whenever he's upset with her and she asks for something, he'll try to be petty and brush her off by saying "sounds like a boyfriend problem". Only for him to cave in and just end up doing what she asks of him.

A big part of why Lucy appeals to him is her mysterious aura. Although it's frustrating at times, he likes to overthink and spend time trying to figure her out. He compares it to a piece of literature he can't quite decipher or piece together.

He only refers to her as Lucielle because he thinks it's more intimate and he loves the name.

He definitely spends an embarrassing amount of time and money sending her flowers.

Kareena & Solo

I feel they met at some stuffy social event when they were children/pre-teens. Kareena was always a wallflower at these events and she liked that Solo approached her first and made her laugh.

She's so concerned for him all the time. Even though they have busy schedules and can't hang out as often as they'd like, she'll always make the time to check in on him.

Kareena has some photos of the two from growing up together and she likes to keep them framed around her room.

Trinity & Duygu

trinity isn't the greatest at expressing her feelings, so her love language is gifts! whenever duygu offhandedly mentions wanting or needing something, trinity will go out of her way to buy it for her. even if it's something small and mentioned casually in conversation.

although trinity is stoic and tough to the world, duygu is the one person who turns trinity into a complete softie. trinity feels completely safe and cared for in her presence.

whenever they're stressed or need a break from the world trinity will book them a little staycation at a nice resort - complete with a spa day and all.

Trinity desperately wants to plan a trip to Turkey, so she can see where Duygu grew up and learn more about the culture.

Audrie & Luca

Their romance is very slow burn instead of just falling right in. They're mature enough to know their separate lives should be carefully pieced together. It's also the fear of quickly emotionally investing into a relationship.

When Audrie has the rare opportunity to bake, she likes to make things specifically for Luca and his kiddo. This is mostly because she cares too much and wanting approval from a young child is so on brand :')

Theo & Sloane

One of his many nicknames for Sloane (and contact name) is Strawberry Shortcake after the cartoon character. He's like "yup that's her"

They like to get into each others hobbies - even if they're not as good at it as the other is. Theo will try to get Sloane into building lego figurines with him, and in turn she's tried to teach him out to bake but his desserts always come out looking completely *atrocious*

He likes to take her to the movies to watch cartoons and animated films. They like to point at silly characters and say "that's you"

Lance & Quinn

one of their deepest bonding moments came from opening up to each other about the death of their respective parents and living through their traumas from it. this is a moment that helped solidify a strong bond between them.

They're that couple who's always out doing something cute. Quinn probably sends him reels and tiktoks of cute places/date ideas in town and without hesitation, Lance will make it happen.

He's very protective over Quinn, but in the most affectionate way possible. Meaning he's not shy about claiming her in public, there's always lots of hand holding, kisses, his arm is always wrapped around her, things like that.

His social media is basically a fanpage of her, complete with poetic cheesy captions.

Dean & Isa

He's the definition of a simp when it comes to her. for example, she could casually mention she's hungry or that she's bored or anything and he's such an "I'm on my way" type of person.

He always wants to make a memorable impression, so he'll often think of fun and creative dates to take isa on - instead of something simple.

He has an unfinished song he'd written about her, but he likes to keep that hidden away for himself.

Valeria & Sunwoo

Although Dean feels like Isa is probably in on his joking, he still feels the need to defend and clarify his teasing statement. The last thing he wanted was to be on her bad side. Especially since he's quickly grown to like her as more than a friend and he didn't want to ruin things by being too foolish. Dean averts his attention back to the claw game, where he gives the caterpillar a second look - and he makes an exaggerated, disgusted expression once he realizes how... disturbing it really is. "Yeaaah that thing is creep city! Now I really hope you don't get it." He teases. "It's up to you sweetheart, but the simple fact is, I'm still gonna win. Or at least have a better shot at it than you." A playful wink follows his words. "Of course. No matter what happens, I'm buyin' you a drink or two either way. Just 'cause." Dean smiles softly, giving her a shrug as if it's the most casual thing in the world. That was his way of subtly hinting to his crush.

Her shoulders jump when the unexpected voice startles her, though a smile is quick to appear on her face when she realizes it’s Dean who’s approached her. “Well, that’s cheerful,” Isa muses, eyebrows arching. “Your lack of faith in me is astounding and frankly, insulting.” Though he’s probably right to doubt her. She’s not lucky by nature and this machine definitely seems way past its prime. “Caterpillar? Are you sure? I thought it was supposed to be a pig…” Isa bites her lip, leaving her post in front of the game for a second to peek at it from the side. Dean is, once again, correct. She’s really got better luck with the caterpillar-pig hybrid but… “It’s so ugly,” she whines, giving up the moment she makes eye contact with the unfortunate creature. Instead, she sets her sights on the unicorn again, moving the swinging claw to a position she thinks is better. “How sweet. Now you’re really making me wonder if I should lose on purpose just to watch you struggle with the machine instead of me.” Isa pauses, hand hovering over the button that will send the claw down, only to face him once more, a smirk playing on her lips. “And if I get it? Are you going to give me something to compensate for doubting my abilities to win shitty, rigged games, too?”

You're way off on that unicorn. You'd probably have better look with that little caterpillar looking thing." he gestures before taking a swig of his beer. "Tell you what- if you don't win I'll buy you a drink or try to win it for you. Whatever makes you feel better."
