the sunglasses felt like they were swallowing ronnie's face, tag tapping her nose as she attempted different poses in the mirror. it was a last ditch effort to force them to look the same on her as they did on the stand, huffing in defeat and turning to daphne for reprieve. "what do you think, daph ?" she gave a pose before pulling the glasses off, staring at them in frustration. "i hate when things look better off than on. who told them to make these frames so big ?"

ronnie: say less ronnie: what kind of wine ronnie: red or white

daphne: lmfaoooo daphne: you can make it up to me by coming over with wine and snacks daphne: please and thank you

ronnie: we need to get you some thicker skin baby ronnie: cuz this isn't going to work </3

daphne: that hurt my feelings :( daphne: im just a girl, ronnie !

"it's a good thing you're not my accountant then," she's smirking, snatching the glasses off of the table before daphne can stop her and placing them in her basket. "besides, why come back later when you can leave with them and wear them walking out ?" always leave in style, that was her motto. "i'm pretty sure a treat is whatever i say a treat is, but whatever you say, daph !"

"ronnie, there is no way in hell that i am letting you buy these for me. you saw the price tag right ??" she chuckled and placed them back down on the table gently. "i can always just come back later and make the purchase." daphne grinned at the other. "a little treat is definitely an ice cream or a coffee drink, not really cute but expensive glasses."

"pfft," she lets out with a wave of her hand and a roll of her eyes. "please. you know you don't have to worry about that when you come out with me." the smile on daphne's face alone was enough for ronnie to justify the charge to her little plastic card, classifying her friend's happiness as an emergency. "they look fucking fantastic on you, daph. put them in the bag, we're getting them both. a little treat for ourselves."

daph let out a soft laugh, grinning at the other as she started posing. "oh, i think those are the ones." she hummed, taking the glasses from the other. "these are fucking cute as hell." the girl slid on the glasses, grin growing brighter as she looked in the mirror. "these are fucking stunning, ronnie. if i wasn't on a tight budget this week, i would 100% be sold right now."

the pout remained as ronnie swapped the current glasses for the ones daphne had offered. "okayyy," she did several different poses in the small mirror on the stand, admiring the shape of the frame. "i don't know which trend is responsible for it, but don't let me find whoever started it." ronnie peeked over the glasses, smirk steadily growing. picking up a pair of metal frame cat eye shades, she pushed them toward daphne and nodded toward the mirror. "i don't know about you, but i think those are the ones, daph."

"no no no.." daph laughed softly, taking the glasses from ronnie. "those literally swallow your face.. i mean they'd be great for people watching. no one would be able to tell you'd be looking at them." she teased. "try these, yeah ??" she grinned, handing over another pair. "i'll never understand why purses are getting smaller and glasses are getting bigger. you'd think it would be the opposite."
