SMALL META ABT DOLORES’S VOICE :   the way dolores speaks is forced; she forces herself to speak with a high pitcher than she would comfortably (and dolores does not have a “deep” voice for a woman in the first place). think of the way your own voice might raise pitch if you work in customer service, or you’re in a situation where you’re attempting to be overly polite and/or friendly. that’s how dolores speaks all the time, save or when she’s very upset and crying/yelling at someone.

she does have a slight midwestern accent, as heard mostly on her vowels. she often peppers in an “oh gosh” or a “goll” into her sentence, a very midwestern thing to do.
