tbqh shinobu and inosuke probs would have made a good fighting pair. shinobu fights like an assassin almost, going for quick, deadly strikes and quiet, calculated movements to make up for her lack of raw strength. and i've played enough video games to know you need a solid tank or bruiser to pull that off against powerful enemies. so having inosuke, who is just a walking, talking (running, yelling) distraction capable of holding against beefier enemies would make it easier for her to come in from behind.
plus the added bonus of shinobu being able to make sure inosuke doesn't hurt himself too badly and gets immediate medical attention.
#about new thread with powerup#i just love their relationship and have sm hcs#∞࿚ kochō shinobu ( it would hit you like poison if you knew what i knew. )

Shinobu / Hashira Training Camp
While the other Hashira (Tengen included) were hosting their individual camps, Shinobu stayed behind at the Butterfly Manor. Her role in all of this is the dutiful scholar, in her office studying Nezuko's physical transformation and the demon blood eventually provided by Tamayo's inclusion. And while this arguably the best place for her and extremely important work that only she can do, she can't help but feel bothered by it.
When the Hashira (minus Giyu) were meeting to discuss their plans for the training program, there came an awkward silence when the circle landed on Shinobu, the weakest among them, a Hashira unable to behead a demon. Shinobu is well aware of her physical short comings as a fighter and has spent years perfecting her fighting style to make up for the strength she lacks. But this isn't a style easily taught to others, nor is it all necessary for the others who can behead demons. The discussion came down to what Shinobu could offer that hadn't already been suggested. Sure, she could teach lessons on footwork and agility or even first aid skills. But she was honest about her reservations, voicing the worry everyone had as thought it didn't bother her; she has not been a successful teacher thus far, with Kanao being the only one of her students to survive, and she cannot offer guidance in a skill she lacks. Luckily, the conversation didn't last long because as her role had already been decided by Oyakata.
Rather than participating in the training program, Shinobu was given instruction to devote her time solely to her research both in trying to discover any additional ways to destroy Muzan with her poison research and looking into Nezuko's condition and a possible cure for her demon nature. She is eventually joined by Tamayo and the two spend long hours locked away in Shinobu's lab.
While this important work and a task only she can complete and having her Master's faith and praise means a lot to her, Shinobu still feels bitter over not being able to train anyone. It's just another example of how much she lacks in comparison to the others. At times, she feels undeserving of her role as Hashira as the physical gap between her and the others is monumental. While she can kill demons in her own way, she often wonders how things might be different if she were stronger. If Kanae were here, she would surely be leading her own camp, with her own tsugokus. She would be Kanao's true master, able to teach her Flower Breathing properly. Things would be better if she were. If Shinobu were able to save her. If Douma didn't exist at all.
And so Shinobu's left with an abundance of anger and nervous energy, glad for the focus her work requires as she's able to fully devote herself to her work and lock away her feelings. She finds herself staying up for days on end, only sleeping when it's truly necessary. Tamayo, while their relationship is rocky at first, the two come to form a mutual trust and tentative friendship. Shinobu is able to be more honest with her than anyone else, leading to her assisting in Shinobu's body modifications in preparation for facing Douma. This all helps to steady her and keep her focused on the task at hand rather than her short comings.
While this is the best place for her to be, she can't help but wonder what her place would be if she herself were better.

@goresugars asked: hc + 🥣 for a food-themed headcanon (one for jafar and shinobu) Headcanon meme / Accepting
As far as flavor profiles go, Ja'far prefers things that are bitter or spicy, such as black coffee or curries. He has a high tolerance when it comes to spicy dishes and likes the strong flavor. He does not, however, have much of a sweet tooth. As a child, he was made to ingest poisons in small doses in order to build gradual immunity. As a result, he believes his taste buds may have been effected as he tends to respond best to stronger flavors.
Shinobu can barely cook. As brilliant as she might be, she just can't seem to get the hang of it. She can prepare something simple if need be but she's even been known to overcook rice. Aoi took over the kitchen pretty quickly after Kanae's death after the girls suffered through one too many failed meals at Shinobu's hands. She tends to get a little bit too lost in the detail of measuring things out exactly and ends up neglecting the stove. She can break down the chemical composition of wisteria flowers into shelf stable poison but cannot make you a bowl of soup.

Kochō Shinobu / Size
Shinobu is 4'11" and 82 lbs. She's very small and lacks the upper body strength required to behead a demon outright. If one were to look at her, with no further information, it would be easy to assume that she's the weakest amongst the Slayers, that she's hardly deserving of her place.
Shinobu's very aware of the limitations set by her physical stature. While she stopped growing years ago, she thinks her stunted growth might have something to do with her self administered wisteria poison, since the rest of her family was average height. She's incredibly self conscious of this fact and most in the Corps have learned not to comment on her height, lest they suffer the consequences.
And yet, she's learned to adapt. Since she lacks a lot of physical strength, she's focused her slaying style in other areas such as speed and agility. She has decent lower body strength, her kicks are strong and she can jump and run a bit better than her peers. She's also very flexible.
She's also learned from experience that people, humans and demons alike, tend to assume she's at a natural disadvantage. Not only because she's so petite but also because she's a woman. And she's learned to use this to her advantage as well.
She's incredibly intelligent and knows how to play at this false assumption of weakness. She's learned to play the meek butterfly only to reveal a devastating sting. Opponents will let their guard down, (it's just a little girl, let's have some fun), they'll let her get in close, want to toy with her and prove their dominance. And that's when she strikes. They don't often except her viciousness, her anger, or the precision in which she strikes. And when she does reveal herself, it's almost unsettling. How she can smile so sweetly while describing how she might dissect you. Her opponents are defeated before they have time to realize their mistake.
But if they knew anything about insects, they'd know the brightest colors often hold the deadliest poison.

Kochō Shinobu / Relationships
Shinobu's relationships and views of each of the Hashira's
Giyuu - Friends? While Shinobu does take some delight in teasing him about his awkward nature, she doesn't mind Giyuu. They both share a sense of not belonging among the pillars or having taken the place of a more deserving hashira. But while Shinobu tries to push her feelings away, Giyuu seems to be brought down by his. She does consider him a friend and wonders what his personality might be like without his personal burdens.
Kyojurou - She has a lot of admiration for his strength. Particularly, his ability to always appear with a bright smile despite the circumstances. However that sense of optimism can be overbearing and even irritating at time and she finds that they are often at odd with their world views. Still, he is someone she can depend on. But she would prefer if he was a bit quieter.
Tengen - She bickers with him the most out of everyone. It's not that she dislikes him however she will be the first to admit that he's obnoxious. He made the mistake of commenting on her hips (as in the fanbook) and she kicked him in the groin. She also reamed him over trying to take her girls to the Entertainment District mission. However, she gets along really well with his wives and likes to visit with them. They gossip about Tengen and the other men on these visits. She has teased that if they ever get sick of their meat head husband, they're more than welcome to come stay with her~
Muichirou - He's a sweet boy and she does like him. He's spent a lot of time with her while she diagnosed and attempted to treat his amnesia and she cares for him as if he were a younger brother. Muichirou seems to like the quiet gardens of the Butterfly Mansion and seems to listen to Shinobu's instructions more than some of the other hashira.
Mitsuri - While Shinobu is envious of her strength and battle prowess, she gets along well with Mitsuri. As the only girls among the standing Hashira, Shinobu says it's important that they stick together. They pair well together on missions. Shinobu thinks that if their lives had been different, perhaps they could have done more 'girl things' together. Shinobu also acts as a good buffer to Mitsuri's more 'air headed' nature. But she thinks she's charming even so.
Obanai - They get along well. Obanai's more argumentative and abrasive nature doesn't bother Shinobu and instead they tend to work well together. He has even helped her milk venomous snakes for her research. She also knows about his crush on Mitsuri and thinks they would make a good pair.
Sanemi - Sometimes it's a bit awkward to be around him because of his relation to Kanae however they do get along. He checks in on her when he has the chance and relates the best to her more angry and vengeful side. She trusts him and knows that Kanae did as well. After Kanae's death, he asked if it wouldn't be better for her to stay at the mansion and continue her research in safety, perhaps out a desire to protect her in Kanae's place. However when she admitted to her need for revenge against the demon that killed her sister, he said he respected it and would support her. That meant a lot.
Gyoumei - He's the one person that Shinobu is completely honest with. He's the one that save her and Kanae after the deaths of their parents and she owes him her life. In their time training together, she's come to rely on him. He's the only person she'll cry in front of.

@petalbound asked: [Shinobu] lilac + chamomile + anemone
lilac : what was your muse’s childhood like ?how has their upbringing affected them as they’ve aged ?
Before her parents death, Shinobu had a comfortable childhood. They were a closely knit family. Her parents were both medical researchers and wanted to ensure their daughters had access to a good education. Shinobu was particularly interested in their work and enjoyed learning under them. She had intended to follow in their footsteps. However after their death, she turned her devotion to the Slayers, intent on exacting revenge against the demons that took her family.
chamomile : what is your muse likely to take away from a painful experience ? are they one to be haunted by adversity , or to use what they’ve gone through to become stronger ?
Shinobu tends to internalize her trauma. Since the death of her older sister, she's become quite good at putting on a happy face for those around her despite the intense anger she often feels. She has made it her goal to take down the demons, especially the one that killed her sister. She uses her past experiences to become stronger but never lets herself forget the pain that's brought her this far. She holds the memories of those she has lost and uses the pain of it to push herself forward. It's not a particularly healthy way of coping, but it's worked for her so far.
anemone : how does your muse view the world ; as a cruel & unforgiving place , a land full of wonders , or something in - between ? where does that world view come from (what experiences , life lessons , etc .) ?
Despite her calm and cheerful outer demeanor, Shinobu is rather cynical at heart. She thinks this world can be unnecessarily cruel, especially with the existence of the demons. If fate wouldn't even spare someone as kind and selfless as her sister, then what hope is there for the rest? She tries not to express this to others, instead taking on her sister's role as a kind mentor to the girls of the Butterfly Mansion, offering them hope.

Kochō Shinobu / Wisteria Poisoning
For the past couple of years, Shinobu has been dosing herself with wisteria extract in an effort to poison her body. This was done in anticipation of her eventual fight with Douma, believing that if she couldn't beat him in life, she could at least poison him in death if he were to eat her. However, wisteria isn't just poisonous to demons, it's also toxic to humans if ingested. This made her efforts that much more dangerous.
It took Shinobu several rounds of testing to come up with the appropriate dosage to use when poisoning herself. When ingested, wisteria is known to cause dizziness, confusion, oral burning and varying digestive upsets. Wisteria, in particular the seeds and seed pods, contain the compounds lectin and wisterin, both of which are toxic to humans.
Lectin itself is a protein that binds to carbohydrates and they can resist being broken down by the digestive symptom. Studies have found that lectins can interfere with the absorption of some minerals and are theorized that over a long period of time, lectins can lead to an autoimmune response, possibly resulting in inflammatory conditions.
Shinobu injects herself with a specially brewed wisteria solution in order to avoid most issues with her digestive system. Though she's found that her stomach is sensitive and most days you'll find her drinking ginger tea to sooth the issue. She believes that while she's always been small and physically weaker, it's possible that the wisteria poisoning contributed to her stunted growth. She's closely documented any changes in her body since she's begun taking the wisteria.
Overall, she has some mild rheumatoid arthritis symptoms (tenderness and swelling of the joints) and has to take extra vitamins in order to better support her body. She keeps all of this to herself, performing regular checkups after everyone else has gone to sleep. She just has to hope that she'll meet Douma before her secret weapon becomes too much for her to handle.
#been trying to do my own research so i hope this makes sense#∞࿚ kochō shinobu ( it would hit you like poison if you knew what i knew. )

Shinobu / Modern Verse
Shinobu, if she were alive in the modern era. This is a different interpretation than the Kimetsu Academy spin off.
Shinobu, 18, is a first year university student. Her parents died in an accident when she was fourteen and she came under the care of her older sister Kanae, who was about to turn 18 at the time. Their parents were both doctors and invested a lot into their daughter's education. After their deaths, Kanae became head of household and a few years later, they took Kanao into their home as an adopted younger sister.
Shinobu, since then, graduated high school with high marks and has now entered her first year of college. She's a biochem major with the hopes of one day working in a medical research lab. She's fairly popular on campus. She's been taking fencing lessons for a few years now and has begun to compete. She's also interested in entomology and toxicology and wants to take a classes in both subjects. She has several taxidermy insects in her room and especially loves studying poisonous species.

Kochō Shinobu / Demon verse
A verse in which Shinobu becomes a demon rather than a slayer.
History. WIP Shinobu has posed a unique threat to the demon's cause. While she's unable to decapitate a demon, she has developed a way to kill them regardless of her physical strength. The poisons she has created and the research she has done had given her a unique insight into the few weaknesses all demons possess. And if she were to streamline these toxins, there's a chance of more slayers being created without needing to be able to decapitate a demon. But this threat could potentially become a boon to the demon's cause. If she were to become a demon, perhaps she would able to find a way around their weakness, both to wisteria and to the sun itself.
And so she was turned. And while all memories of her human life, and thus the breadth of her research have been lost, she's able to recover her medical knowledge with time.
Current. Shinobu, now reborn as Maika is a moth demon. She occupies a small building deep in the forest that she had taken over. She spends much of her time studying and conducting research on humans and demons alike. All of her equipment was stolen from the human scientists she has killed. The building itself was once dedicated to farming silkworms. The area surrounding the farm is now overgrown with poisonous vegetation and flowers that only bloom at night. Among the flora lives a myriad of demonically enhanced insects. At first glance, it's a beautiful scene. However there's a sinister aura and none who enter return alive.
Name. The name given to the newly reborn demon is Maika ( katakana - マイカ. kanji - 舞翔 meaning 'to dance' & 'to fly' ) Insp from her breathing style 'dance of the [insect]' )
Appearance. Maika's appearance is based on a japanese silk moth. Her skin is pale with a gradient coloring extending down her extremities to a deep violet coloring on her hands and feet. Her feet are taloned and she's able to easily perch on branches. Her fingernails come to sharp points. Her hair maintains it's black to purple gradient coloring however it's much fuller and a bit longer. Her eyes are bright violet with no visible pupils and a black sclera. Her teeth have enlarged, fanged canines. She has a pair of fluffy antenna on her upper brow. Around her collar is a fluffy tuft (similar to previous reference) On her face, she has a pair of moth wings framing the outer edges (ref one, ref two). She also has a pair of wings on her back, shaped like the silk moth. These wings have a black base with violet and lavender accenting. Along the wings are bold eyespots, while in rest these eyespots appear as they would on a normal moth, however she is able to 'open' them, revealing actual eyes matching her own. With these eye spots, she is able to maintain a wider range of vision, the various eyes are also able to see in other light spectrums. She normal folds her wings down against her back, draped like a cape, when not in use. The wings on her face can sometimes indicate her mood, perking up when she's interested or drooping when she's upset. Her height and general physique remain unchanged with an emphasis on lower body strength.
Abilities. Maika has the standard repertoire of enhanced senses and physical prowess. Her skill emphasis is in her speed and agility. Whether she is flying or running, she's incredibly fast and fluid in her movements. The patterning on her wings can cause a dazed, hypnotic effect on anyone watching in the same respect that a moth uses it's patterning to help evade predators. Her movements and fighting style resembles her breathing style.
Blood Demon Art: Poison Physiology
Maika's body natural excretes a variety of toxins depending on her intention. She is able to pool her venom into her nails and teeth as well as drain it through her palms for external use. The effect of the venom ranges from paralysis, pain infliction, and eventually death depending on the intended use. The venom types she can summon are based on a variety of both poisonous and venomous insects. Her blood contains a paralytic agent that causes intensifying numbness on contact with human skin.
She is equipped with a katana fashioned in the same stinger shape and uses it to stab her victims and inject the venom directly.
Another usage of her venom grants her control over insects. Dousing the insect in her blood causes them to mutate. Affected creatures become increasingly more aggressive and adapt a more carnivorous diet. They also enter a collective hivemind with Maika as their queen. She is able to receive information from her colony and uses them for surveillance. This ability only works on insects and she is unable to control arthropods such as spiders.
Alternatives.
Possible alternate verses in which she was turned at the time of her parents death or at the time of her sister's death.

@petalbound asked: [Shinobu] fool, high priestess, star!
the fool : what are your muse’s thoughts on new beginnings ? does it frighten them or excite them ?
Shinobu tries to believe in new beginnings but that was really more of Kanae's strong suit. She was the type to believe anyone could start over and live a better life with the right support. And since her death, Shinobu has tried to undertake that mantle. That's why the Butterfly Mansion is employed by the sisters of her fallen tsugoku and other girls left orphaned by demons. The mansion itself has become a symbol of those new beginnings, a safe space for the corps and those effected by it. And while she tries to be optimistic about it, Shinobu was always more of a pessimistic realist. She hopes that these new beginnings can offer a fresh start and lead to greater things but recognizes that the world is cruel to those wishing to start over.
the high priestess : how does your muse make decisions ? do they trust their instinct or would they rather trust their heart / their logic ?
Shinobu is often ruled by logic rather than instinct. She's a realist as opposed to Kanae's idealism. She's always very intelligent and relies on her intellect to make up for her lack of physical skills. She's best at devising strategies and developing the means of victory. And while she tries not to let her emotions get in the way, she is fueled by the anger she tries hard to mask. And in an attempt to keep a clear head, she has bottled up much of her emotions as to not be ruled by them. She recognizes that if she lets her hatred lead, she'll probably die before achieving her goals.
the star : what does your muse take inner comfort in knowing ? what guides your muse ?
Shinobu takes little comfort in anything. She's someone who is secretly ruled by her hatred and anger and has learned to sharpen her need for revenge while concealing it under the guise of the 'watchful older sister'. But at times when she feels overwhelmed by her emotions, she tries to remember who exactly she's fighting for. She tries to remember how Kanae approached the world and embody her gentle nature. And she fights for the girls of the Butterfly Mansion, so that none of them will ever have to experience the heart ache that brought them here again. And while her approach thus far has been to smother her own emotions, she will gladly make that sacrifice if it means keeping everyone safe. Her comfort will come from the deaths of the demons, especially the one that took her sister.

Shinobu & Inosuke - control vs. chaos
One of the things I find really interesting about Shinobu and Inosuke's relationship is how starkly different they are. Emotionally, they exist on separate ends of the spectrum and I think that's part of why they work so well together and perhaps why Shinobu takes such a diligent caretaker role for Inosuke. Something something, opposites attract and fill the gaps in each other but in a familial way.
Shinobu is someone who is rigidly controlled in her emotional displays. When she was younger, she was known for being brash, stubborn, a rather rude, with no social grace. She loudly complained about Kanao being 'useless' despite knowing why she acts the way she does. I imagine her as the type of teen to pick fights over any perceived slight and Kanae would often have to drag her back to apologize.
But after Kanae's death, the manor was left without a mistress and the girls residing there had no one else to turn to. Shinobu knows more than anyone how important her sister's role was, both as a caretaker and a slayer. And Shinobu couldn't meet those expectations.
So in order to fill the space Kanae left behind, Shinobu forced herself into that mold. She took on all aspects of Kanae's personality in a sort of masked parody of what she imagined Kanae to be in the eyes of those around her. She even goes as far as to wear Kanae's haori, less of a memento and more of a costume. She always smiles, speaks softly, appears gentle and disciplined. She still has a temper, but it's always disguised as a gentle scolding. Even when fighting the Spider Sister, she's chipper and jovial, her sweet tone contrasting with the brutal tortures she describes to the demon. And no one asked her to take on this role, to change herself from the inside out. What started off as a coping mechanism became a complete disassociation from her own identity. Kanae is the one who should have lived, Kanae would be strong enough to take care of the manor, Kanae could fight Muzan. And since Kanae isn't here, Shinobu will act the part as best she can.
All of this than contrasts with Inosuke. Inosuke is unapologetically and authentically himself. A wild boy raised in the mountains away from human society, who acts on instinct and rarely thinks about the consequences. Fighting demons is fun, a way to showcase his skills and prove his superiority. He trusts his intuition to carry him through and if he should fail, he'll simply get up and try again. Inosuke doesn't lie and hide out of some moral obligations, it just never crosses his mind. He's loud, determined, and strong. He has natural physical talent, sharp instincts, and trained himself to use a sword. And he's proud of it. He is everything Shinobu is not, everything she wishes she could be.
There have been so many nights where Shinobu longs to just stand outside and scream at the sky, to be angry and wounded without shame. She never got the chance to mourn Kanae or even her parents, there was work to be done. She hates the demons, hates her weak body, hates the cruelty of the world. And yet she has to pretend to be loving and kind, a sympathetic ear. Even Giyuu gets to act on his insecurities as a Hashira, running and hiding when it comes to the training camps and yet even he surpasses her as a slayer because he can decapitate a demon.
And so when it comes to Shinobu and Inosuke's relationship, the two learn what they lack from each other. Inosuke learns to be clever, that strength doesn't have to be loud and obvious. Shinobu is someone that in any other situation he would probably look down upon for being weak. But she saves him from the Spider demons, perhaps his first humiliating defeat. And she's able to heal him after, care for his injuries in a way no one ever has. She commands respect in her house because she's smart and focused, not because she's the biggest predator in the forest. She displays to him a different kind of strength, a sense of control. And from the girl who lost her family, he learns what it's like to be a part of one.
And Shinobu finds that despite the trouble he causes, she likes being around Inosuke. There's no trickery or manipulation to him, when he says she's cool, it's with such authentic admiration that she believes it, especially from someone who is physically gifted. She loves Kanao, but she understands that her praise can sometimes come from a sense of dependency, that Kanao is still struggling to identify Shinobu as Sister and not Master. And Kanao is her student only because Kanae died. And praise from others often feels like a slight or backhanded in a way, 'you're a good fighter even though you're so weak'. (she imagines this, she knows) With Inosuke, Shinobu doesn't feel as much stress to perform, it wouldn't make a difference with him anyway. She ends up being patient with him because it genuinely benefits him, not because she feels obligated to pretend. Inosuke talks about the future, about after he defeats all the demons, he'll show Shinobu all the bugs that live on his home mountain. And even though Shinobu knows that won't happen, that she plans to die for her cause, it brings her peace to imagine.
Maybe it's just because Shinobu gets along better with animals than people, but for all the stress he causes, Shinobu feels that Inosuke might be someone she doesn't have to act in front of. He never met Kanae anyway and doesn't understand social roles so he doesn't know what role Shinobu is struggling to fill. To him, her mask isn't an act but a method of survival. Just as an insect might camouflage themselves to trick a predator. And even that is something he finds cool. And in the end, when she will undoubtedly be gone, she hopes Inosuke will continue to visit the Manor and bring some life to it. She grateful to be someone he trusts and hopes he won't be too angry when he learns the truth of her plans.

𝐈𝐍𝐒𝐄𝐂𝐓 𝐄𝐍𝐓𝐇𝐔𝐒𝐈𝐀𝐒𝐓
Shinobu has always had an interest in insects and arthropods. As a child, she would frequently come in the house holding the biggest spider she could find, much to her parent's continued dismay. She devoured any books her parents could find for her on the subject and soon learned how to identify (and catch) the critters living around their house. When she wasn't studying medicine with her parents, she was outside in the garden with cups of sugar water, luring out whatever she could find.
Even after her parents deaths and her enrollment in the slayers, she has continued to have a fascination for them. Since Kanae's death and Shinobu taking over her roll as head of the Butterfly Manor, she hasn't had as much time to devote to her hobby. But her office does feature frames of pinned insects. She feels guilty indulging in other hobbies when her time is better spent on medical care and training but it's still something that makes her happy. Kanae's gardens, which still surround the manor, were filled with bushes to attract butterflies and there is a bee box in the back where Shinobu continues to tend her hive and collect honey.
Something related to her hobby that helps to calm her is drawing. She has notebooks filled with sketches of the insects she sees on her journeys, anything from anatomical diagrams to nature sketches. It's something that calms her and offers a much needed reprieve from her usual racing thoughts. She doesn't consider herself an artist but she has become quite skilled over the years. Her drawings have a certain delicate accuracy to them, even the smallest detail is accounted for with soft pencil strokes. If she trusts you, she might let you look through her notebooks.

@whirling-fangs asked: 😠 ANGRY FACE and ⚔️ CROSSED SWORDS to Shinobu :3 Headcanon Interview / Accepting
😠 ANGRY FACE — how easy or difficult is it for you to express your emotions? if you find it difficult, what do you think is holding you back?
"...I'm not really sure what I feel much of the time. I used to lose my temper a lot. Kanae would scold me, tell me she likes my smile better. She was always smiling, she said it was her role to make sure the people she protected always felt at ease. And now that she's gone... it's my job. It's exhausting sometimes, when it gets bad, I feel like my head is going to explode. I'm getting better though, or I hope I am. I have to be strong for the girls in my care, for my sister. I wonder.. is there anything beneath my smile anymore?"
⚔️ CROSSED SWORDS — do you have any skills that you are absolutely grateful you have and that mean a lot to you? how do you usually use these skills? would they come in handy if someone you cared about was in trouble?
"My parents were both doctors. My mother was a researcher while my father was a physician. I was still young when they were killed, but I remember they wanted Kanae and I to get a good education. I used to watch them work. They're the reason I study medicine. The slayers needed a good doctor, a researcher. I created the wisteria poison, I run the Butterfly Mansion. I may be the weakest hashira, but there are other things I can do. I'm glad I can be useful like this. And if I can use my knowledge to kill that man, then it will all be worth it."
