A hand placed itself on her chest, the blood seeping from the fabric of her shirt naturally giving Kirby a reaction of fear. She walked amongst the sidewalks of Washington D.C., her mind unsure and unaware of what just happened. "What the fuck?" she whispered, looking at her bloody hand with confusion. "What's going on?"

"Are you Sidney?" she spoke over to the woman, a little smile twitching at the tips of her mouth. "I believe they gave me the wrong coffee," her hand extended outward, showing the written name "Sidney" on the to-go cup. "I don't think they've finished my drink yet. I hoping they're almost done, I need my caffeine if I expect to get through today."

"step back!" she yelled, a gun in her hand and pointed towards the stranger. "i am not kidding around!" the yelling hadn't ceased, a badge shown on her belt, using her authority in a negative manner, but she wasn't going to let a stranger near her. She just came back.. to life? this wasn't funny anymore. "i said step the fuck back!" kirby knew what she had to do, so with a slip of her finger she shot the stranger right in the chest. one shot and that'll do it. her hand shook as the gun was put back in its holster only to step away from the scene.

"I'm sorry to hear that. I mean, lots of things happened in my town during my childhood but it wasn't towards me directly. Not until high school. That's when it really sucked," there was a laugh that tried to push the conversation elsewhere but it started and Kirby decided that she needed to finish it. "I was stabbed. Twice. Once my junior year of high school and a second time... a few years ago, actually. The first one was by a friend," she refused to say their names. "What they didn't know was that I lived. I became this weird legacy in the world of horror, but it wasn't all what it's made out to be, really."

"see, high school on was the more normal part. my childhood? really messed up." once she'd gotten here, everything had mostly gone the way a normal person's life would, barring the occasional dc disasters. "i do, yeah. guessing there's a way more fucked up story than some childhood bike accident or whatever you thought happened there?"

"A few things, but uh— the biggest thing is that I've died since I've been here and, well, I'm obviously not dead," it was said more nonchalantly than anything, because how else was Kirby going to be truthful? "If that gives you any idea of how fucking insane this city is." And she thought Woodsboro has its flaws. "Apocalyptic? Wow. 'Shaun of the Dead' type of post-apocalyptic?"

"What did you realize, about this place?" Beth asks curiously -- because in all honesty, D.C. seemed a bit off to her. She didn't want to say that aloud, though, in fear of sounding paranoid. "Oh, well the world I came from was a lot... deadlier. More post apocalyptic, than anything else."

"A trade secret, yeah?" a brow rose as Kirby spoke, a little too intrigued, now. It was easy to piss off a guy, just deny him— that simple. Though, she was a bit curious on how this particular girl managed to run a guy off. It was always a good time, but this one? It came with a price. "Hm," she began, arms crossed against her chest. "I can do that."

talia glanced to her side, happy to have at least reeled someone in with the show. now that the entertainment she had planned for the night had driven off, she needed a replacement. talia chuckled, "it's a trade secret." pissing off men wasn't much of a secret, but talia did seem to have quite the knack for it. "i'm willing to tell you, but it'll cost you the hefty price of buying me a drink."

"You're just, uh—a lot younger," she tried to put it nicely, unsure if saying that she knew an older version of the reporter had been rude or not. "I met you when I was in high school, so," a shrug was given. "But, yeah. I'm also from Woodsboro, unfortunately. Though, it seems tragedy is everywhere."

"i'm getting really tired of death." gale admitted, shaking her head as she glanced away. "oh? you're from woodsboro too? i'm just going to assume that we've met and i just don't remember since there are a few things i still don't know."

With a gun was holstered at her side, she not afraid to grab it at any wrong movement from the girl. The same girl that killed her friends and secured a massacre at Stu's old house. Kirby knew. She knew everything that went down at Woodsboro, even after she left. "Does your girlfriend know what you are?"

"oh fuck me. what are you doing back? can't people stay dead here?, it was cool when I came back, but now it's fucking annoying. " she grumbled.

"You're safe here, don't worry," Kirby said. She was armed and ready to attack if anyone dared to come towards the two of them with malicious intent. "Are you okay? I have a first-aid kit.. if you need? —Do you need a phone?"

"i didn't know where else to go, i'm sorry." tara had gone out to search for her girlfriend and friends, sure that one of the ghostfaces would take advantage of this chaos going on. "i was just trying to check on my friends."

"Me? The best? I know," still, her words kept themselves in a semi-whisper as she was deathly afraid of the wrath that may come from her sister if the baby was to be awoken. Kirby knew that rage from experience. Stuffing her face, she happily nodded at the idea of not cooking. The take-out? It was perfection. "You are boring. It concerns me. However, I'm glad I don't have to keep an eye on you," though, naturally Kirby did anyway. Not for Ariana, but for those who decided to lurk around her younger sister. It was hard for Kirby to trust anyone. "I feel exhausted. Do I look it?"

"you're the best." the blonde grinned at her sister, both amused and grateful at the tip-toeing around the apartment. "oh, same. and i didn't think either of us were cooking tonight." she knew she was personally exhausted. "when do i ever end up in trouble, kirby? i'm boring, you know that."

"I'm not sure, uh— let me check my purse?" There'd been a questionable expression on Kirby's face as she searched through the mess of a bag that she often carried. "I don't have scissors but I have nail clippers? Would that work?" She wasn't sure, but fingers pulled them out anyways. "I'm not sure how intricate you need the cuts to be."

Kirby @withinthem "Hey, you wouldn't happen to have a pair of scissors on you do you? I need to open this watch now that I have a replacement gear." She says casually looking over the watch before glancing to the other beside her. While she didn't remember learning it, Lisa felt drawn to fixing things like this to help pass the quiet time when she wasn't working.

"Georgia, wow," Kirby said. "I've been to Atlanta," but she's never had a reason below the city. She's visited it a couple of times for work. "Yeah? It's a bit of a whirlwind for me. I've just.. realized a few things and somehow DC doesn't feel like home anymore," a shrug was given. "How's it different? If you don't mind my asking."

"I haven't been here long at all," Beth admits, frowning slightly. "I'm still getting used to it, this place. I'm originally from Georgia." Not that the other cared, but Beth figured that it would be good to provide some context. "The world was a lot different before I got here."
