tate didn’t seem happy with this response. but when was he ever happy with violet’s constant rejections? he knew he did wrong. he couldn’t fix the wrong doings of the past but he could try to do better. if she would allow him the opportunity. that was the problem though, violet was a stickler. she didn’t want to hear anything tate had to say. he’d tried every tactic known to man and ghost. even the witch lady couldn’t miraculously fix everything like he’d thought she did. violet just hated him again when the spell - or whatever it was - wore off. “okay. why don’t we go over those reasons again…” at least rehashing the reasons she hated him meant she would be talking to him and giving him her attention. “please.” only tate would want to sit and go over reasons why he was a shit human being in his very boring afterlife. he was almost desperate to speak to violet.
