a girl was asking his opinion on clothing? even if it was a friend of his sisters that still didn’t happen every day. okay, it almost never happened if he was being honest. he had to do his best to try not to act too giddy and have her change her mind. that kind of thing wasn’t easy for flynn. he looked her over trying not to be too painfully obvious. another thing that was almost impossible. nessa was gorgeous. “looks great.” was that too casual? “better than great.” now he was going to second guess and make a fool of himself. it always happened. “you wear it well.” who said that? flynn just shook his head. 

“sorry…it’s just a really nice shirt.” he muttered. “do you want to go to panera with me and get lunch? i was just about to go.” why not offer her food to make things better? food made everything better. and at least if she didn’t want to go he could get away from her and not make things any worse. “you can even wear that shirt if you want to.” like she’d change to go to panera...good he sounded like such an idiot.
