-yn's quirk is time manipulation: when she has her eyes open (while her quirk is activated), she can slow down time to 1 millisecond. everyone isnt effected by this slow down unless she's touching them. when she closes her eyes, her quirk stops and time resumes back to normal until she activates it again. this has lead people to mistake her quirk as super speed (may be a bonding moment w shota later due to quirk similarities)

-yn is a pro hero in the usa, living in california. she's visiting japan to be with her besties after a bad breakup (will learn more later)

-yn met rumi when she came to the usa for vacation, saving her from a villian attack and becoming best friends ever since. yn was 18 and rumi was 20 when they first met

-rumi visits yn at least once a year, but yn has never been to japan

-yn met keigo through rumi, initially fighting on rumi's timeline but ended up privately messaging each other memes on the dl

-since then, keigo started visting yn in the usa with rumi

-shota was forced into this gc, and leaves its often (hizashi always adds him back in)

-hizashi and nemuri never text each other privately, always in the groupchat. because of this, shota has the notifications muted but its not often to see over 500+ missed notifications

-on multiple occasions, shota's phone has crashed due to their constant messaging

-theyve had this gc since high school, with the name of the gc changing frequently, but always have ' + shota ' in the end of it

-on rare occasions, shota initiate a conversation so both parties know he means serious business if he texts something first [important to know later ;) ]

-hizashi and nemuri try to hang out once a week, always inviting shota to join them (he usually doesnt)

-when he does join them, they get him tipsy to let loose, making him drop his normally grumpy demeanor

-they'll never tell him but one time when they were all out, shota told them he loved them and they cherish that memory to this day
