jan remembers every negative thing that someone might call her anytime it happens, she remembers them all for a long time and can’t get the words to go away unless she forces herself to block them out.

she vividly remembers the time her father called her a bitch.

she remembers the time crowley called her a demon whore.

she remembers the time when angels basically said she was useless as a hunter during a time when she had the hardest time sending a demon back to hell just because of her feelings.

she remembers things for a long time--- and it hurts just as much when she remembers them as when the things were originally said.

jan can get really impulsive when it comes to causes that are bigger than her-- star wars, she wants to 1v1 thrawn or just explode him altogether. supernatural, she wants to punch lucifer in the face.

in both, of which, everyone has to basically drag her back and convince her not to do the thing because it’s all much bigger than her and she would be more likely to die than really succeed. they only do so because they care about her, though, and don’t want to see her hurt. and she knows that, even if she sulks over not being able to majorly help how she wants to.

okay but headcanon for you. derek calls her short to tease, and it's obvious she is. but in reality he actually really likes her height. because it's perfect in comparison to his seeing as he enjoys wrapping his arms around her, she fits perfectly against his chest when he practically curls himself around her. xoxo.

ngl she’s earned the nickname “short stack” from so many people before ( and in several different verses )--- but i see your headcanon and raise you another one.

jan rolls her eyes and seems a little flustered at the nickname the first couple of times, but she’s totally fine with it after the third time he calls her that. and she just kinda melts into him when he wraps his arms around her bc she’s a sucker for hugs from guys bigger than her.

the only time jan doesn’t want to fight lucifer or any other demons or angels is when she’s just too mentally and emotionally and physically exhausted to do anything, and just really wants to crawl into a blanket fort and ignore the world for days or weeks at a time.

things i just realized--- jan probably tried using her phone five minutes into being around the ghost crew for the first time and realized that it didn’t work, so she couldn’t check back home. her battery probably died within the first day or two of being with them, and she obviously didn’t have the right charging cord with her at the time, so she didn’t think to ask anyone else. so to this day, she’s got a dead cell phone with all of the stuff she had with her when she showed up-- namely, the clothes off her back and whatever was in her pockets at the time. her cell phone, some earbuds, a necklace, and a couple of bobby pins.

okay but, another headcanon. derek is so... derek, that him calling jan baby would probably make her giggle the first time and have her tease him cause it sounds so foreign from the wolf. cackles.

friendly reminder that in jan’s MAIN SPN verse, she basically dated satan’s grandson and things went to shit and angels and demons judge the shit out of her and now she’s retired from hunting and hates herself very very very much :)))))) and her four best friends, chev, abby, kennie, and nick ( who’s also a father figure to her ) are p much the main ones keeping her together in one piece with their emotional support and shit :)))))
