help bestie why are the albums so cheap im so confused😭 is it bcs they’re pre-orders??

There’s actually an great answer to this if your on a site that sell albums straight out of Korea like G Market for example they’re a huge Korean based company that sells many things including kpop albums then it will appear cheaper than if you buy it from a American based seller. This is because in Korea a lot of kpop albums are actually that cheap and can be bought that cheap (they usually range from $10-20) because it’s domestically sourced. Whereas if you go to a American seller there $20-30 because they import the albums straight from Korea so it raises the price slightly because your paying a small portion of the import tax.

That’s why when u try to buy the albums from Korean based sellers and you see the import tax it will be super high because it’s shipped from korea rather than American. If u buy one album from korea that’s like $15 your gonna end up paying upwards of $40-60 because of all that shipping tax because they have to send it all the way from korea to America. that’s why it’s better to purchase from reliable American based sellers because even though your paying a few extra dollars than it would be in korea (that’s most albums from American sellers are around $10 dollars more than it would be in korea bc they have to make a profit due to how much they spend importing them from korea) you actually end up saving money!

For example when I bought a p1h album from a American based seller it only costed about $20-30 ish whereas if I would’ve bought the exact same album from a Korean based seller it would’ve ran me about $40-60 so huge difference.

ALWAYS buy from American based sellers so the shipping tax is lower!!

To summarize the post I recommend KpopUSA and MusicPlaza they are both American based (from California) and 100% reliable and certified and since we live in the same state I can tell u about how much the shipping cost, Cali to Tx it ran me only $7 in shipping with kpop USA (which is super good!!) and only $9 with Music Plaza. Also keep In mind music plaza is slightly more expensive with the shipping BUT u get the album quicker!! I got my albums from kpop USA in about 2 weeks and with music plaza it was 1 week to 1 week and a half!

I really hope this makes sense bc ik kpop can be so confusing 😭 I had my mom proofread this from the perspective of someone who doesn’t know kpop and she understood so I hope u do too^^ 💗 let me know if you need anymore explanation or help 🫂😘
