Denki tilts his head a bit, taking a few moments to fully realize where he was and who he saw… but when it finally clicks that it’s Rima, he smiles and waves her over. “Hey..! Over here!” He’s got a lollipop in his mouth, and a little bag hanging from his arm. He hadn’t planned on seeing anyone he knew on his little walk, but it was a welcome surprise.

"Now you're getting it. It's okay to be on your own for a while. Depending on someone else all the time kills your independence." JJ was being truthful. He kind avoided relationships. He didn't have anything to offer. No money, no home, ziltch.

"I kind of am. You were stupid. I mean, Sarah was being avoidant. When girls get like that. I just assume they don't want talk to me anymore. If your girlfriend gets like that. It's probably time to break up."

There's a nod of his head. "Yeah, you're right. I won't slam the door in her face, but I'm not going to open it up and welcome her with open arms either. I'll tell her to sort out her business with the person that's part of it. Which isn't me." And deserves to be free of that burden, to be free of following her around like a dog because he thinks she'll throw him a bone. He's been stupid, what can he say? Love is lame sometimes and he needs to get over it.

"We're - - -." There's a shrug. "He's always there, but he and I aren't close, no." He and Rafe? Yeah, they're closer. They've known each other longer, though. "It's bizarre, but it actually feels good to get this off my chest and, well, you don't seem to be judging me that hard for it, so thanks?"

A little taste of home

Starter for @americashielded it was far to early in the morning when his body forced him awake. He tried his best to roll back over to sleep before finally getting up and got dressed to head downstairs. Well if he couldn't sleep he could atleast do something. So he decided to go do some training in the gym when he popped his head inside just in time to see the big guy himself. They had seen eachother a few times in passing and the day he had moved in but not really had time to talk. So curious he came in and looked around the gym "I didn't know you'd be in here training. Is this a good time? I don't need the whole room or anything... "

JJ's attention turned toward Kiara. He was expecting a deeper question to ponder coming from Kie. He dug his feet into the sand thinking about his answer. "So, swim for 10 seconds or fly like a penguin? Fly like a penguin. definitely. I can still swim and breath underwater if I wipe out surfing." JJ laughed. It was more of the image of a penguin surfing that popped up in his stoned brain.
