starter for @nylathriasoulseer.
where: eterna
when: current timeline, maybe like a fraction before the madness of the last quest
note: seers aye
Fyren had let his protective nature of the Steel dragon place them in hiding for most of this time, abilities that had been untouched for decades under control of the Aetherian's still lay neglected, but his own impatience and teetering arrogance allowed Fyren to finally face himself. He could not do it alone, however, and that was where he'd come to discover this elvhen, a seer, a tether to ages long past. Entering her store, Fyren wasted no time, approaching the elvhen at her counter, "I've little interest in your spell scrolls, truly, I'm more interested in you and your abilities. I've heard of you, a seer, one of the souls." When a dragon vied for something, they normally made their demands pretty apparent and Fyren was sure they were direct to the elvhen.

starter for @strigoisak.
where: eterna?
when: current timeline
note: hello
"This world of yours is so jarring and broken," the elvhen were once a harmonious people, but now a discordant song spewed out from the world, the very antithesis of what Fyren once knew of this realm. Pulled through time, placed in a world which was unrecognizable to the dragon, and still, a decade later, it sometimes felt difficult to keep up with. He was lamenting, dramatically of course, to Isak, "Is that part of this charade of yours?" The dragon meant no offense, but the Isak sat before him was far different than the Isak he'd met on various blighted battlefields.

starter for @mavrasx.
where: eterna, near the warrior's guild hall
when: current timeline
note: uwu
Ender had been who had introduced Fyren to the Warrior's Guild, the dragon pulled through the threads of time towards a world that was now foreign to him. Fyren had a lot of appreciation for the other, even if it'd been almost over a decade since he'd seen him last, but a smile swelled on his face the moment he recognized the other not far off from the guild hall. "I was starting to get worried I'd not see you again," He'd run into various other Iskarans, many on various battlefields throughout Lysara, but there had only been one warrior he'd been holding out hope for. "It seems fate has been trying to divide us," Fyren teased, knocking the other on the shoulder; he'd learned that move from Eivor and apparently it was a sign of friendship.

"Respectfully, I'm not interested in any of the families slavering over the library, learning history through literature instead of living within it. I want to work with you," Solon just had a hunch about her, scryers, dreamers, they were not all that different and he was intent on having her realize that even if she did not see the connection so vibrantly within herself at the moment. "I don't have secrets, not really, anyway," if Solon ever had a kindred secret about himself it was likely because he'd forgotten the fact, figured it as something inconsequential. He paused though, a touch hesitant, "When you read a soul that is... tied to another, can you catch a glimpse of that one as well?" He'd still not found Veleth but the pink dragon was certain the spirit was out there.
Fyren smiled at her hesitance, it was wise to be wary, but he could see the sparks of curiosity glimmer in her eyes, and it was that which was most important. "Don't you want to?" The smile grew and he held out a hand as though they were to shake on it, "Much like a soul, I assume, you will see vast oceans of memories, drift through frozen moments so tangible it is as though you're gazing at a painting, with no detail left behind."
“There literally a whole family of them, that would climb over eachother to help you with knowledge of fallen branches.” Even if the other could no longer enter Avalon she was sure that many would willing come out for just that chance. She was just perplexed why he was brining up a fallen branch up to her of all people, it wasn’t like she had any relation to the fallen branch.
Another dragon? Why did this keep happening? Dragon’s, Daemonfey, what the hell was going on, in all her years she never met one and now it a matter of weeks she’s met two dragons and one Daemonfey. The world was really going through changes that she couldn’t comprehend. Her face revealed shock for a seconds but it went though the motions of processing what was stood before her ending in a smile. She had never read a dragons soul before it would be new, what would it even look like? “Are you sure you want me to do that? You might not like what I see.” Hell she might not like what she saw. “I’ve never walked through a dream before.” And she wouldn’t be able to lie she was curious what it would be like.

"She's of a similar faction of yours," no, that certainly did not help but much like any dragon he could easily take someone in circles if meant only stating what he wished to say. Their nose scrunched, that clear sense of draconic impatience shining through despite the fact he'd been trying to relate to and gain the trust of this seer. "Focus not on the one who told me of you and your shop," there was still that level of protection where Talisa was concerned and though she'd discovered this seer's shop, the Steel dragon had offered little to nothing when it came to crucial information towards it. Aetherian's could be lurking anywhere and Fyren had been careful, gathering his own information where he could be best prepared and safe when approaching another.
Even an elvhen could truly be the enemy but he tried not to let his leery nature of Aetheron pollute every interaction with every person he'd met since. "You each sit here with the knowledge of the fallen branches but let them remain in oblivion," it wasn't these younger elvhen's fault; those who were not around for the war but had to pick up the pieces. Still, this one was older than most, but still far enough separated from the Cataclysm that had supposedly destroyed his home entirely. "A creature, yes, of nefarious means, no. I'm a friend to the elvhen, perhaps I'd have once been called a seer, too. A Dreamer is more apt." He wondered how far her knowledge went, how far her talents soared; Fyren often bloated the capabilities and confidence of others, but he felt an inclination that she was someone he was looking for when it came to restoring the lost tendrils of those tied to the Fade and the veil.
How awfully vague of him, a friend of his could quite literally be anyone and a shared interest could honestly be that they both like a glass of wine. It wasn’t overly compelling nor reassuring. “This friend have a name?” If it was somone she trusted then she could worry less about the man asking such personal questions, could trust her friends to not send a maniac to her door. But if it was one of them why not say their name immediately, his vagueness lead her to believe it was a different case. “I have a lot of interest perhaps you could tell me which one we share?”
“Well I know that but no other Elvhen has shown interest in that. So why are you?” It wasn’t like Nyla had a branch to teach her, she had been by herself where her ability had been concerned and she had learned lesson the hard way. “The same as most Elvhen, less then you I’m assuming.” The fact that he used her name brought her mentally to a halt. “I’m no elder but I know when something smells off. So here’s the thing if you are a creature of nefarious means I’m going to ask you to kindly leave. I’m not in the market for what you are selling.” There were to many flags for her to ignore them. Something was wrong, she couldn’t put her finger on it but she couldn’t shake the feeling.

"People change, fashions change, but you, you have not changed," a pause as though mentally correct themself, "Well, changed your clothes, yes, but your state of mind is just how it was when I'd met you." Fyren didn't mind supplying the other with a scalding call out, a good friend would always offer their piece of mind such way and Fyren felt personally responsible in helping Isak step into true form. Maybe it was hypocritical since his true form was a massive pink dragon, but nobody was ready in the world for that just yet! "You're too smart to play dumb, my friend," Fyren smiled widely at Isak despite the more serious matters they'd come here to research.
"What do you mean?" Charade? Brow quirked, Isak glanced down at himself and the space around them and he didn't get what Fyren was getting at. He'd swung by the office and figured it would be stupid of him not to check into this 'wild magic' thing. Fyren needed entertainment and so Isak figured it would be best to make him useful and bring him along. Hands in the pockets of a coat that is not the usual worn leather he prefers, he looks sideways to the other. "I'm not good at charades."
