Wild time with my cousins tonight. (They are 9 and 10 years younger than me respectively.) I was showing them some of my art, right? (Because I'm the cool cousin.) So I was briefly explaining some stuff to them ("here's this guy, he's 5ft tall, etc, btw he's blind, etc") and then showed them the sketch of Tempest in the Hawaiian shirt (last art I posted on here I believe) and these were their IMMEDIATE responses. Rapid fire. And this is all verbatim:

Cousin 1: He looks like a yakuza

Cousin 2: He looks like he'd share really controversial opinions at the dinner table

Cousin 1: He looks like he'd go "hey mama"-- oh but he can't see

Cousin 2: He looks like he'd start a conversation with *air quotes* "those liberals"

??????? first of all, 15 year old white boy, I really don't think even you know what you mean by that last one. Second of all, YAKUZA? I mean she got the flirting part right but yakuza??

And it didn't stop there. Later I was scrolling through pictures on my tablet and had this one pulled up. Cousin 1 saw it at a weird angle and asked, "Is he pregnant??"
