Qetza - An Original Hollow Knight Character

Sorry I haven't posted In a while! I suppose I've had a bit of an artblock, but I will start posting again! Well, I'll still draw SMG4 stuff, but I want to also focus on other things, such as Hollow Knight! It's one of my favorite videogames, so I want to contribute to the fanart!

Last night I was about to doze off to bed, but I had a character design In mind I couldn't stop thinking about, so I did a quick sketch of her, and thought a bit of her traits as well. And I think the design looks really neat, so I decided to digitalize It. What do you think of It? What other traits should I give her?

By the way, a couple of her Inspirations were Midwife, (A minor NPC In HK) The Hollow Knight, and the Mantis Lords.

1. If you had to choose a theme song for you, what would it be?

I have no idea, I remember people already asked me that but when it comes to choosing a song I just can't or it's gonna take me days, weeks, months sorry x)

2. Is there any childhood dream you refuse to let go of?

Kinda. I’ve always wanted to become an artist, sell my paintings/drawings and especially draw comics. And... well, it came back to me like a punch last year. So I'm wondering, maybe I should start studies about animating cartoons or things like that. Plus, now, I've started to put some of my current fanarts on Redbubble? Hoping it'll work, can be a nice beginning!

3. What are your least favorite tropes/generalized ideas about your favorite character?

My favorite character is Monkey D. Luffy and I don't like when... let me think xD

… Can't find anything right now. I guess I love everything about him, including his flaws.

4. Favorite book?

I don't have one, but I have favorite authors or trilogies – again, Eric-Emmanuel Schmitt's or Bernard Werber's.

5. A book you haven’t managed to finish reading and why?

Madame Bovary. I studied it two years in a row and each time I just couldn't finish it. I LOVE studying Flaubert and this book. Seriously. But I just can't read it. But there's also books I love to read and hate to study like The Perfume by Patrick Süskind.

6. Is there a movie you always cry when you watch it? Which one?

Yes, The Amazing Spider-Man 2, maybe? But I mean, I've watched it twice. It's just that the end is so hard to me because I love it so much – you can't just come to me and randomly say ''oh let's watch it'' I need like a 24h preparation mentally xD

7. Do you have any guilty pleasure pairings and why do you ship them?

Guilty pleasure? I'm not sure about what you mean... I do have a ship I have no idea why I ship them – Ereri from SNK, fandom who also made me ship somehow Eruriren, the fanarts are nice – tbh but otherwise idk.

8. What are five of your favorite songs?

I CAN'T ANSWER THAT. Okay just the last songs I discovered/downloaded again and fell in love with, that I can.

Favorite: Spring I think, because beginning of everything. And that's when I kinda ''wake up'' after exams and wanna enjoy life, see friends and old friends and party, free time and all that.

Least favorite: Maybe Winter because I'm cold very easily x)
