Hello Dorito!
Can you please write Bruce, Dick, Jason and Clark receiving a good luck kiss on the cheek from their crush before they go on a mission? I’m curious how they would individually react and what their thoughts would be. I thought it would be cute if it was pre relationship for some reason (*'ω'*)
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Dick
The moment you kiss his cheek, dick just smiles softly.
‘What was that for?’ He’d ask, his thoughts going a mile a minute as to what this all meant in the long run of your relationships as he knew damn well friends didn’t kiss each other on the cheek…well unless they were close like that, but Dick typically knew it wasn’t and wanted answers before he left for the mission.
‘Good luck?’ You shrug.
‘Just good luck?’ Dick would tease, but on the inside he was hop in that this was going where he was thinking it was going, hoping he wasn’t reading anything you were putting down wrong as he didn’t want anything to be misconstrued or misinterpreted. He wanted this moment for so long and wouldn’t want to miss an opportunity to having something worth coming home to; or someone worth coming home to after a long and intense mission.
Dick would look like he was confident and whatnot but on the inside he was more happier then he’s ever been in his entire life. He wanted to shout to the rooftops that he had been kissed on the cheek by the person he liked, but instead decided to play it cool and try to work his charisma into his favour with you in hopes of a date. He’s done being coy and dropping hints, the kiss on the cheek had to mean something to you as it did with him.
Jason
Blinks several times as his brain tries to accept that you did just kiss him on the cheek.
He reaches up to touch the cheek you kissed lightly as his insides were waging war with one another, he was glad that you made a move first as now Jason knew you had some liking towards him, especially if you were willing to go out of your way to kiss his cheek before he leaves for a mission.
This felt like something he had read out of many, many, many books that he never thought he himself would ever experience in his lifetime, and yet here he was being kissed on the cheek by the person who he had a raging crush on that felt like it came straight out of a movie. He’s aware of his crush on you, insanely so, but when you kissed his cheek he didn’t know whether it was with platonic or romantic intentions.
Jason wanted so badly for it to be romantic, his heart yearned for it like he yearned for you as long as he had, trying not to show just how he melted like putty in your touches and general affection towards him. Other people try to touch him and he hisses at them, but you? You could hold his cheeks and he’d be fighting to need to close his eyes and melt into your hands, feeling safe enough within your presence to do so then he ever had anyone else in a long, long time.
He knew he was fucked the moment he realised that he didn’t want to push you away but pull you in close. Jason knew he was fucked but in that moment he didn’t care because a life of love with you was a risk he was willing to to take, after all he was deserving of a sweeter aspect of life then the one he was already given.
Clark
Feels his cheeks burn as he rubs the back of his head, the feel of your lips still very much lingering on his skin.
The kiss was soft, it was sweet and innocent but it was enough to have Clark becoming a little flustered and a bit sheepish in looking you in the eye, but he managed to do so and it was obvious by the look in his eyes that it was something that would affect his mind for a long while; even when you were long from view you’ll still be in the forefront in his mind.
His voice was caught in his throat but his mind was filled to the brim with all the things he wanted to say but couldn’t, for as soon as you kissed his cheek and wishing him luck, you were already out of his line of sight with a knowing smile graced upon your lips upon your exit.
Clark knew that he’d have to have some words with you when he gets back, but until then he could only assume that you were both on the same page without having to speak words to one another, the attraction was clear but would need to be communicated clearly sooner or later.
Clark could only hope he wasn’t the only one feeling something between the two of you, he was hopeful that he wasn’t when you placed your hand on the s symbol on his chest and looked at him the way you did.
Bruce
Doesn’t show much change visibly but his eyes do shine in amusement and his posture seemed to straighten a little more, only the keenest of eyes would’ve seen that he had also leant into your lips when you kissed his cheek.
Bruce prided himself in being a well put together man, but the moment you kissed his cheek that collapsed in on itself, and he was left wanting nothing more then to ask for another kiss and so he did with a hint of mischief upon his tongue.
‘Do I get another one?’ He asks you.
You only shrug. ‘Only if you come back in one piece then you can have as many cheek kisses as you’d like.’
He may have made an entire playboy persona for public outings and such, but in that moment he felt like a teenager with their first crush again, wanting nothing more then to ask Alfred if engaging in a relationship with you was worth the risks. He is a smart man and knew what he wants and yet while he knew what he wanted, he couldn’t claim to know what you want and didn’t want to assume on your behalf when you didn’t say anything of substance.
Bruce knew that something was different between the two of you -outside of him having a crush on you of course- and knew that once he gets back to Gotham he’ll have to strike while he still could in hopes that you’d allow him to treat you right, and allow him to spoil you rotten once in a while, and keep you safe should you all him to have your heart by taking you on a date to your favourite place.

Tumblr media
the tv was playing in the background as you were mindlessly scrolling on your phone. it was a lazy sunday afternoon in skyhaven and you and caleb decided to spend the day doing nothing. he had been twirling the ends of your hair around his finger for who knows how long at this point, half listening to what you had put on earlier. he was just happy to be in your presence.
you left out a huff as you locked your phone and looked up at him from his lap.
“done scrolling?” you were silent as you turned toward him, crossing your arms soon after. your eyes scanned his face, down his neck, shoulders, chest and finally your gaze settled on his arms. he was wearing one of those muscle tees with the sleeves cut off and as much as you tried to help yourself, you always caught yourself looking. caleb may be a fool for you, but he was no fool when it came to you. he bought a bunch of shirts just to rip the sleeves off of them in hopes he would catch you looking at his arms again.
“like what you see?” he leaned in closer to you, a shit eating grin dancing on his lips for catching you in the act. you immediately averted your eyes, but your reddened cheeks were a dead give away.
“shut up..” he took your chin between your fingers, tilting upwards to catch your lips in a chaste kiss.
“you can look all you want, honey. they’re all yours” you stuck your tongue out at him, glancing over to his arms once again and before you could even think, you leaned over and gave his bicep a big old bite. he yelped in surprise, but laughed as he looked down at you.
“what are you doing! get off of me!” you quickly sat up and straddled his lap as you began to give his arms little love bites. his arms were soft, squishy and some might describe as… beefy.
“they’re just so yummy looking, I have to give them a little nibble!” you continued your antics, laughing out loud as you moved up to his neck and shoulders. caleb was over the moon as he laughed along with you. he missed these moments with you– just being stupid with your laughter filling up the room.
he managed to grab your hips, pushing them back so you were sitting on his lap. you took it as your sign to stop. you wiped the stray tears from your eyes from laughing too hard before your vision cleared and when your gaze met his, you swear you felt your heart skip a beat. his cheeks were slightly flushed, hair disheveled, the quickened rise and fall of his chest– when you two were teens and he had the same look whenever you decided to mess with him.
you took his cheeks within the palms of your hands and shifted his gaze onto yours. moments like these came and went when you were with him. moments when you would think about how you spent those grueling months after his alleged death, how you never thought you were going to see him again, but here he was, in the flesh. your thumbs stroked his cheeks gently, feeling the texture of his skin from the explosion. he was insecure about it, but it was one of things that reminded you that he was real and you loved him even more for it. there was a shift in his expression, one of innocent curiosity.
“what is it?” you didn’t speak, you just continued to gaze on to his features.  it was only after you scanned his whole face that you gazed into his eyes, running your fingers through his hair to fix the mess you had made of it. his eyes closed instinctively, relishing in your touch.
“nothing. i’m just really glad that you’re here is all.” you placed a small kiss onto his forehead before leaning your forehead against his. it was your turn to close your eyes. you could feel how his arms held you safely within his embrace and how his hands were steady on your hips. he prided himself on keeping you safe, and you knew it too.
god, how could he have been away from you for so long? he gave your hips a gentle squeeze as his eyes partially opened to see your face. your expression was calm and vulnerable, almost how you looked like when you sleep.. his arms reached up to your back, pulling you in for a longing embrace.
if caleb could absorb you he would, wanting to absolve any distance between the two of you. he breathed in the scent of your shampoo that smelled faintly of apples he buried his face into your neck. a shudder went down your spine, reciprocating the same amount of intensity. you tried pulling him as close as humanly possible to your chest, you could feel the heat that was radiating off his body. you cradled his head against your cheek, carding your fingers through his dark locks once again before placing a kiss onto his temple.
you finally felt him relax into your embrace, his breathing slowed. it took a lot for caleb to fully relax, especially when he was so used to being on high alert. you’re sure what he has been through in the past couple of months couldn’t have made that easy for him. so you were just going to hold him until he tells you to let go. he listened to the faint sound of your heart beat; you were here and you were real. almost like you were reading his mind, you smile softly as you look down at his calm figure.
“you don’t have to worry anymore caleb, im here and i’m not going anywhere.”

i love love love ghost!max, and i know you’re pretty much only writing smut about him, but i’m in my feels rn, so what if the spirit box stays on all the time now, so that you can openly communicate with max whenever you want. but one day the two of you get in a big fight about something and you turn the spirit box off on him. maybe he realizes that he’s screwed up and tries to do little things for you, like making you breakfast or cleaning something in the house, just small things he’d never done before, hoping you’d turn the box back on and give him the chance to actually apologize
pls ignore this if you’re only sticking to smut for ghost!max, i just needed to get the thought out of my head 🤍
— hi nonnie! I’m so glad you love this lil au <3 going to write some fluffier drabbles cuz I’m also in my feels lately. lil drabble below
Tumblr media
The silence was different this time. It wasn’t the quiet comfort you had grown used to since Max became a presence in your life—it was hollow, empty. Usually, even in the stillest moments, you could feel him lingering, his energy humming softly through the air, a constant awareness that he was there, always watching, always listening. But now?
Now, the air felt cold in an uncomfortable way.
You still felt something—his presence hadn’t disappeared, but it was distant, dulled by the heavy weight of your anger. Or maybe it was his anger, too.
The argument had started over something stupid. A careless comment, a teasing remark from Max that had hit a nerve when it wasn’t supposed to. Maybe it had been a bad day, maybe you had been stressed, but the irritation had flared too quickly, your words snapping sharper than intended. And then Max—prideful, stubborn Max—hadn’t let it go. He had pushed back, and before you knew it, you were fighting over things neither of you had meant to say.
“You don’t get it, Max,” you had spat, arms crossed, voice shaking.
“Oh, because I’m dead?” he had shot back through the spirit box, static crackling through his words, his tone biting. “That’s your excuse?”
You had wanted to scream. Instead, you had reached over and shut off the only form of verbal communication you had with him.
The silence that followed was deafening.
For the first day, neither of you tried to fix it. You ignored him because you were still angry, and Max—well, he had no way of talking to you, so why would he bother? If anything, it felt like a standstill, both of you too prideful to make the first move.
But then, the ache and longing began to settle in.
Max hadn’t realized how much he needed to talk to you until he couldn’t. At first, it didn’t seem like a big deal. He told himself it didn’t matter that you couldn’t hear him. He still spoke—jokes, dry remarks, muttered comments when you cracked open yet another energy drink—but it went unheard. No reaction or responses from you. It felt wrong.
The silence stretched longer, and something in him itched with the need to break it.
But he couldn’t do so verbally. Instead, he did things.
The next morning, you woke up groggy, exhausted from a restless sleep. You dragged yourself to the kitchen only to find a steaming cup of coffee waiting for you on the counter, the sugar and cream swirled in exactly the way you liked. Your hand hovered over it for a second, heart clenching at the sight, before you scoffed to yourself and turned away.
The day after, you noticed the house was tidier than usual. The couch blanket had been folded neatly, pillows fluffed in a way you never bothered to do. The floor—was it cleaner? You weren’t sure, but something felt different. Still, you ignored it, pushing the thought away before it could settle too deeply in your chest.
Then, the kitchen.
You had left dishes in the sink from the night before, too tired to deal with them. But when you stepped into the kitchen that morning, they were gone. Clean. Dry. Put away. You gripped the edge of the counter, staring at the empty sink like it had personally offended you.
“Max,” you muttered under your breath, your voice softer than before.
That evening, you found dinner waiting for you.
It wasn’t anything fancy—a simple dish, something you would have made for yourself on an easy night—but it was warm, plated carefully, waiting on the dining table. The chair was slightly pulled out, like an unspoken invitation.
You swallowed hard, staring at it for a long time, fingers twitching at your sides.
Your resolve wavered. You had spent the days determined to ignore him, convincing yourself that turning off the spirit box was justified. When you had reached for the switch, silencing him completely, you thought you had won.
But now, standing before this quiet gesture, it didn’t feel like winning.
You sat down hesitantly, the air around you charged with the unmistakable weight of his presence. You could almost feel him watching, waiting. Each bite was a painful reminder of your argument. But you imagined the way he must have lingered in the kitchen, moving unseen, focused on preparing something just for you. It was familiar, comforting, and undeniably him.
After finishing, you pushed the plate aside and sighed, rubbing your temples. “Damn you, Max,” you muttered under your breath, knowing full well he could hear you.
But when you passed by the fridge, your resolve shattered, replacing the remnants of anger with longing.
You stopped in your tracks, stomach tightening as you took in the magnets—letters you didn’t even remember having, rearranged into something unmistakable.
Please talk to me
Your breath caught, a lump forming in your throat. You reached out, fingertips brushing over the letters like they might disappear. It was desperate. Messy. A plea.
You could almost hear him, the way he’d say it if he could, voice rough, maybe even a little strained.
Your chest ached.
With a deep breath, you turned, walked to the living room, and flicked the switch on the spirit box.
Static filled the room, a familiar hum cutting through the heavy silence. And then—his voice, distorted but clear, breaking through like a sigh of relief.
“I’m sorry.” His voice was rough, distorted through the static, but the emotion in it was unmistakable.
Your throat tightened.
“…You really swept the floor to get my attention?” you asked, your voice barely above a whisper.
A pause.
“Yeah. It was awful. I’m never doing that again.”
The laugh that bubbled out of you was instant, breaking the tension in your chest. You hadn’t even realized how much you missed hearing him until now. Until this moment.
You exhaled shakily, resting your hand on the couch for support. “I’m sorry,” you admitted quietly.
The static shifted, almost like a sigh before he spoke again, “please don’t do that again.”
want more ghost!max? send me an ask with your thoughts—filthy or not—and I’d love to write you a little drabble <3

dutiful boyfriend
Summary: Phainon wants to apply a lotion on your body; however, his intention are not so innocent.
Yandere Phainon x female reader
Tumblr media
contents: nudity / dub-con|non-con touching (lotion application with groping) / obsession / smutty (nipple play) / female cycle mentions / patronizing behavior / forced relationship / mentions of suffocating (paranoid) /
Word count: 1.3k
Not suitable for minors.
No matter how much Phainon’s presence could have been suffocating for you, with him wanting to be in your space and have your attention 24/7, he has never relented.
That’s why you both just took a bath together. Another excuse to have you close to him, with his intention hidden under a false reasoning of couple activities and Amphoreus’s bathing culture. Anyone else who didn’t know the true nature of your relationship would think he’s just a clingy boyfriend, maybe like a puppy with separation anxiety; but you knew better.
He has held you tight to his chest the entire time of taking a bath together, sitting behind you. Washing you was included too, disguised as him wanting to take care of you and help you relax. Yet in never felt like anything else other than invasive and vulnerability-forcing.
However, your stressful situation of your peace and space being intruded wasn’t over just because you left the bathtub. Another part of him taking care of you was meant to be him applying a lotion for you too, right after he wiped you clean with a a towel to make it all invasive.
“Phainon… I can do it myself,” you said nervously when you saw him grab a bottle of lotion from the counter of the sink. He already did everything for you, making you feel so incompetent and out of control of your own life or even body. You didn’t know if you can handle more of his touch either.
“Nonsense!” he responded in a chirpy voice. “I just want to take care of you. You needn’t to lift even a finger,” he said with a smile and winked at you. Phainon stood right in front of you and pumped out few squirts of rose-scented lotion. Each pump made your heart pound like a thunder. He already was touchy on regular basis, but wanting to spread something all over your naked body felt even more unsafe and humiliating without a close barrier to protect you. Regardless, some part of you wanted to believe he was just being nice… even if it felt rather infantilizing and pushy to have everything done for you.
No, it was maddening when you were treated like someone who couldn’t take care of herself. The question was whether Phainon shared your sentiments.
“Okay…” you finally gave in. You knew he’d keep wearing you down if you say no anyway.
“Thank you, my love! Don’t worry, I’ll be gentle,” he said softly with another smile, although his eyes were a different story—watching you like a hawk, not hiding an unhealthy obsession with you.
Despite you agreeing, it didn’t make you feel any less anxious from anticipation of waiting for his hands to be put on you.
When Phainon finally did so, a hope filled you somewhat. He was just applying it on your shoulders and arms first, not in any suggestive way.
Only for your stomach to be churned when he got onto your chest after few more pumps of lotion to gather and spread.
He wasn’t just applying lotion. No, his hands lingered on your breasts for way too long. He was doing more than rubbing your breasts—his hands were squeezing them in circling motions, and you had to bite down on a moan, both sensitive and startled. “P-phainon, what are you doing?”
“Me?” he said innocently, “Didn’t you say your breasts are tender before period? I’m just helping you, I’ve heard a massage can help…”
“Yes, but…” you protested weakly, feeling as if he wasn’t entirely truthful.
“No buts, pretty girl,” he said with a reassurance and kissed your forehead to further convince you. “Now…” His fingers were now onto your nipples, rubbing their sides between his digits. You yelped, feeling a spark of both slight pain and involuntary arousal. He smiled a little.
“Phainon…” you said unsurely, “I am fine, really…”
You moaned when he gently pinched your buds that were growing sturdy. “Some pleasure should relieve your pain, I think.”
‘I think’—he wasn’t even sure if he had to do this, yet he gambled and put you through unnecessary humiliation.
Right when your body was getting more eager, he finally stopped. To your displeasure, for some reason you felt disappointed. “Do they feel better?” he asked hopefully. You nodded immediately in case he wanted to drag this out.
“Perfect. Just a few more places are left to moisturize…”
Few more pumps.
Next was stomach and back. He didn’t make it any weird thankfully, although with your legs he dragged his hands down and up them, making you extremely nerved when he was reaching more intimate areas.
You felt tears build up when his hands landed on your backside. Phainon even forced your body pressed tightly against his to get closer to that area, chest to chest and with his face buried in your neck. His lips were teasing your skin, as if you weren’t overwhelmed already. Your eyes didn’t need to witness his expression, as he knew you wouldn’t like the truth.
You felt his skin against yours, which only intensified the sense of being naked but in more symbolic sense than simply touch and nudity. “How can you be so beautiful, hm?” he teased, making you squirm as his voice vibrated against your neck. “You’re unreal, really…” he murmured contentedly, thinking about its just him in your life.
His words didn’t cause any sense of being flattered in you. You just wanted to leave this bathroom to signalize the end of this torment.
“I’m getting cold,” you tried to lie as you felt him massage and squeeze your flesh. “Don’t worry, I’m keeping you warm. You should feel warmer soon,” he said gently.
You did feel warm, albeit it felt like an unpleasant sweaty sensation than comforting one. When he looked up at you he wiped your few tears with a loving look that felt out of place for your distress. “Oh, my bad, I didn’t realize you’re that sensitive. It must be an overstimulation,” his tone was apologetic and worried, but the real reason of your tears remained unspoken; though you had to admit that even the scent of rose hanging in the air felt now too irritating to your nose. “I’ll make the rest of the process quick for your sake.” When you nodded and he gave you a quick kiss, making you experience a lot of relief that this torture was nearing the end, your joy was quickly diminished.
Few more pumps.
He was moisturizing your mound. Your eyes widened and you tried to close your legs in panic but he swiftly forced them open. “Don’t be ungrateful,” his voice was suddenly cold, making you freeze from the shock in sudden change in his mood. That kept you unmoving, scared you end up provoking him further even if you weren’t at fault here.
Fortunately for you his hand didn’t wander deeper between your thighs, leaving your most intimate place untouched… though you didn’t know if it’s a good thing—maybe it was merely a begging of some game, and he was taking you slowly part by part, hence he left the best for later.
“Good girl,” he praised at your compliance, and when he sounded soft again you had to do a double check to know whether you didn’t only imagine him being aggressive a second ago.
Last pump. Phainon’s left hand gathered your hair up to reveal your neck and not stain your hair with crème, and the other quickly spread the product around your throat. Despite him not hurting you, a sense of paranoia and claustrophobic pressure was there with his palm on this place—a worry about both being suffocated both literally and figuratively. You ever doubted he’d lay a hand on you; it was just a fear caused by having your entire existence have him all over your life everyday.
You exhaled deeply when he finally put the bottle away. “All smooth and soft, just like you should be. Not to mention how good you smell…”
You squirmed when his finger traced down your arm, wanting to experience how silky your skin was now…
You really had no idea how much he craved you just from simple gestures like this. Every part of you had a deeper meaning to Phainon, and you were desirable both physically and simply because it was you.
He smiled widely, all enthusiastic. “Now we can go to bed and rest. Don’t worry, I’ll help you put on your clothes too.”
I really can’t stop writing this type of Phainon…

hi! I was wondering if you could write a story about aaron and reader are arguing because reader is jealous about him having to kiss a girl in a movie he was doing and he had to prove to them that he loves them and only them. please and thank you
Let me cook !! I hope you’ll like ! (I felt free to add smut to it because why notttt)
Tumblr media Tumblr media
aaron pierre x actress!reader
Warnings : +18 (MDNI), nasty smutty, established relationship, jealousy, cranky reader
It’s been a long day for both of you. The set was chaotic, the director demanding, and the long hours had made you cranky. But what truly sent your heart spiraling was the news you’d just heard.
Your man had to kiss another woman for a scene in his movie. You hadn’t meant to overhear the conversation, but as you stood in the doorway of his trailer, the words hit you like a ton of bricks. Your stomach twisted, your chest tightened. You knew it was part of his job, but that didn’t stop the jealousy that clawed at you, irrational but raw.
Now, sitting in his car, you can barely look at him. The tension between you two is palpable, and the silence is thick, uncomfortable.
Aaron looks over at you, his jaw clenched, but his eyes soft. “Baby, talk to me. I don’t like when you’re like this.”
You scoff, crossing your arms tightly over your chest, staring out the window. “Like what?”
He takes a breath, turning fully towards you now. “You’re upset. I can tell. I don’t know why, but I can feel it.” You huff, shaking your head, but you can’t hide the hurt in your voice. “I just… I don’t get why you had to kiss her. I know it’s your job, but—”
His hands fly up in frustration, but not in anger. It’s more like he’s frustrated at himself for making you feel this way. “No, listen to me, okay? That kiss meant nothing. Nothing at all.”
“I know it was just acting,” you say, voice small. “But still You kissed her. I don’t know if my weak ass can handle that."
He reaches over and gently places his hand on your knee, his touch warm and grounding. “Baby, I’ve been kissing you for years. There’s only one person who has my heart, and that’s you. No matter what’s in the script, no matter what I have to do on set, you’re the one I’m coming home to.”
You glance at him, searching his face, looking for any sign of insincerity. But all you see is love. His eyes are soft, pleading, and filled with everything you need to hear.
“And I’m sorry I made you feel this way,” he continues, his voice low. “You mean everything to me. I’m not going anywhere, and I don’t want anyone else.”
Tears start to sting your eyes as his words hit you. Slowly, you reach for his hand, intertwining your fingers with his. “I’m sorry, too papa,” you whisper, gently playing with his fingers. “I didn’t mean to be jealous like this. I just… I love you so much. I can’t stand the thought of anyone else touching you like I do.”
Aaron leans in and presses a soft kiss to your forehead. “And you never will. Because no matter what, it’s you and me. Always.”
Now, as the rest of the trip was quiet, the only audible sound being the radio, you thought things had calmed down between you. How wrong you were. You didn’t even the time to step out of your shoes that aaron took you to y’all’s bedroom.
"Aaron- what are you doing ?" You asked, following him as he entered the room, closing the door behind him.
The tension between y’all thickened, and even if the only source of light in the room was the sunset’s, you could still see aaron slightly tightening his jaw as he looked down at you.
It was like he was actually realizing just how deeply all of this was affecting you. He pulled you closer to his, brushing his lips against your ear. " I’m sorry you felt that way. I need to show you you’re the only one who can have me.”
He never actually felt like this, never been the object of one’s jealousy. But this was nice —apart from the part where it makes you upset– it made him feel even more connected to you.
That’s how he now had you wrapped in his body, almost in his skin. His dick was buried in you so deep, but his fingers were so delicate on your skin, his kisses so gentle. "Papa is so sorry for making you jealous baby, will you forgive him ?" He asks as he fucked himself into your sweet pussy. You felt so good around him, your hips grinding to try to meet his.
"haa– fuck !"
"C’mon tell me bub. You forgive me ?" He asks again, lips against your shoulder. You whine softly, trying to push back against him.
"Yeah baby, you’re forgiven- mh !" You whine. Aaron chuckles a bit before his hands grasp your hips to hold you steady. With one firm thrust, he is breaching your folds and sliding deep inside you. your head dropping to the pillow below you as you whimper through the burn. The stretch burns more then you anticipated, and you hear him groaning softly, which sends another wave of liquid heat rushing through you.
"God you feel so good baby, you take my cock so fucking well." He praises you, gently pulling out to slowly thrust back in. His eyes are locked on the place where you two connect, watching with hooded eyes as his cock disappears inside you.
"Oh my— why are you fucking me like this ?..feels so good.."
"I wish you could see this baby." He praises again through a soft moan, and you drink up every sound he makes. "I’m yours baby, take your dick."
You needed this so bad and you actually loved the fact that you were the only one who could give him this type of relief.
Yours yours yours yours yours. he was yours.
Your forehead presses against the bed, muffled and strangled cries escaping your lips every time aaron hits deep inside you. His cock stretches you perfectly, and always hits places deep inside you. Places you didn't know existed. Soon you feel your orgasm creeping up on you, almost making you feel lightheaded.
"Please make your pussy cum papa, im so close." You beg, muffling your moans with your palm as he drives his cock into you. You feel sweat covering your entire body and aaron holds your hips with a bruising force. You feel that coil winding tighter and tighter, and you release a high pitched whine when his hand actually snakes around your body to thumb your clit.
"Papa this dick feels so good, soo good baby. Always feels so good, fuck baby I love you," You're not sure what you're saying at this point, an incoherent mess of praises for the man above you. "Nah, this is your dick baby, say it."
"My dick—It’s mine, mine, mine." You repeat mindlessly, pleasure taking over you. "shit, I love you too baby." He answers.
Aaron loved when he could reduce you to incoherent words and disconnected statements because of him. slamming his cock inside you and rolling your clit before you're squeezing around him tightly, your mouth falls open in a silent scream. You cum in hot gushes around him and he can only offer a few more sloppy thrusts before he's cumming with a loud growl, coating your walls in his hot cum.
chest heaving from the exertion, aaron feels more relaxed than he has all day. There's a small smile on your face and your eyes are closed as your legs finally give out and you collapse against the sheets.
"Are you okay bub ?" You hear, and you can't help but smile when you hear that he's panting slightly. You hum with a smile on your face. "I’m sorry i got cranky over this, I love you."
"That’s okay mama. I understand you, but I want you to know I’m yours, only yours."

hearing june talk about their future children filled hans’ heart with so much warmth, so much love that he didn’t know how to contain within his ribs. it felt like the kind of love that overflowed, that went to every little thing they touched together, this garden, this house, each other.
he looked on fondly at june, at how he was taking all of this in too, and the teasing made hans chuckle. “they will not be annoyed by it,” he said with a slight pout, his eyes still filled with the quiet affection that he only reserved for june. “we’ll raise them to love flowers, it would be impossible for them to hate any of it.”
in hans’ mind, it was all so very clear—their wedding day, having their first child, having more children to fill their home with laughter—and it filled him with the assurance that everything was in its rightful place. that everything would work out to give them the future they wanted.
not because they were blessed by some supernatural being, but because they were both willing to work hard for it. a faint “i love you” left his lips as june’s thumbs brushed over the back of his hand, that feeling of safety in this shared moment cloaking him from the sun, from the heat—making the moment just perfect.
his lips sought june’s for another kiss, a kiss that wasn’t just for them in the present, but also for their future. a promise to their children to always love each other and to be examples of love that can last forever. “and while they are little, we will keep their hearts safe too. we will love them enough for them to never question anything,” he promised, his eyes shedding tears as he thought of things past and future. “they will never, ever, have to wonder if they have our support. they always will.”
hans knew he could not turn back time, but all he could do was to make sure they learned from what they had experienced. “they will still be our little princes and princesses, but they will be free to pursue their hopes and dreams. and we will be there to guide them. because that is love too.” he leaned in for another kiss, june’s words wrapping him up in a comforting blanket and keeping him steady. even with his cheeks stained with tears, he couldn’t help but laugh. “oh i can’t wait to marry you, my love. i can’t wait for the day.”
june exhaled a quiet laugh, hans’s hands in his anchoring him in a way he didn’t think he’d ever get used to because it still felt like something precious, something he never wanted to take for granted. he shook his head slightly, a small smile curving his lips as he took in hans’s words, the way his husband spoke of their love like it was something he could hold, something they built together and nurtured like the flowers they grew together.
“i think our children are going to be annoyed at all youd plant analogies,” june mused, his voice dipping into something teasing. “they’ll pretend they’re tired of hearing them, but deep down, they’ll understand exactly what we mean.” his smile softened, something more thoughtful settling in his expression.
his thumbs brushed absently over the back of hans’s hands, the warmth between them grounding him. it was easy to feel safe like this, to know without question that he was loved. hans had made love something steady, something that existed not just in grand gestures but in the quiet moments too — in the way he remembered the smallest details, in the way their home had become a place june never wanted to leave.
his fingers curled more tightly around hans’s, as if holding onto something sacred. “so yes, we’ll write our story. we’ll fill it with every small thing, every quiet moment, every feeling we’ve carried between us since the beginning. and maybe one day, when our children read it, they’ll see that love is about finding someone who makes your heart feel safe.” his lips quirked slightly, repeating his own words from earlier with a quiet sort of affection. “and if nothing else, they’ll learn that their parents were absolutely obsessed with flowers.”
he let out another soft laugh, shaking his head before tilting his chin up to meet hans’s gaze again, something steady in his expression. “and or our wedding… well, you’ll just have to wait and see, won’t you?” there was a glint of mischief in his eyes now, something playful, something that hinted at the depth of his love in a different way. his voice dipped lower as he leaned in, their foreheads brushing. “just know that i plan on making it something worth writing about.” and with that, he kissed him again.

Note
hey queen was wondering if you could do an angsty rafe fic don’t care what the topic is just need my soul to be crushed tbh…
anyway love your work😛😛
lamy's note: thank you bby!! i hope i did it justice! 💗
the evening clung to the air, heavy and suffocating like a storm waiting to break. you stepped into the mansion, your heels clicking against the marble floors, echoing in the quiet stillness of tan lines and rosegold hues. everything about tonight felt off. rafe’s texts had been sporadic, distracted. but you’d convinced yourself it was just his usual mood swings—the volatility that came with his name, his family, his demons.
“just come over,” he’d said earlier, voice low like he was speaking through gritted teeth. you’d asked if everything was okay, but the curt reply and abrupt end to the call told you everything you needed to know. he was pissed about something. probably ward. maybe topper. or… maybe you.
anxiety gnawed at the edge of your thoughts, a sharp-toothed beast sinking into your resolve. still, you went. because it’s rafe. and you’ve never been able to stop yourself when it comes to him. his pull was magnetic, a gravity you couldn’t escape no matter how much it burned.
but as you approached the living room, your heart sank. voices. hers.
sofía.
your pulse quickened, thundering in your ears. you knew sofía had been hanging around more. her smile always too sweet, her touch lingering a second too long when she’d brush rafe’s arm at parties. you’d pretended not to notice. pretended to trust him. because rafe promised you, over and over again, that he was yours.
but now, as you turned the corner, you saw it.
rafe’s back was to you, broad shoulders taut under the strain of whatever this was. sofía stood inches from him, her hand on his chest, and before you could even process what was happening, she leaned in, pressing her lips to his.
for a moment, it felt like time stopped. your lungs seized, your vision blurred. the room tilted like you’d just stepped off a spinning carnival ride, nausea and disbelief crashing into you all at once.
“rafe,” you choked out, voice cracking under the weight of betrayal.
his head snapped up, his blue eyes wide with shock. “baby, it’s not—”
“this isn’t what it looks like!” sofía interrupted, a perfect picture of feigned innocence, but you saw the glint in her eye, the slight curl of her lips. she wanted this. she wanted you to see.
“what the fuck is wrong with you?” you spat, glaring at her. your hands were trembling now, the fight-or-flight adrenaline coursing through you making every nerve hum with raw energy. “are you seriously trying to act like i didn’t just see you?”
sofía shrugged, crossing her arms over her chest. her expression was maddeningly calm, like she was toying with a piece of prey. “he didn’t kiss me back,” she said smoothly, like that somehow made it better.
“get the fuck out,” rafe growled, his voice low and dangerous. the venom in his tone made even sofía hesitate for a split second before she gave a mocking smile and sauntered out of the room, hips swaying like she’d won.
silence hung between you like a blade, sharp and ready to sever whatever fragile thread was left.
“you’re unbelievable,” you finally said, your voice trembling, barely containing the torrent of emotions surging within. “she’s been throwing herself at you for weeks and you just… what? let her?”
“no!” rafe took a step toward you, his face a mess of desperation and guilt, but you recoiled, and it hit him like a slap. “baby, i swear to god, i didn’t—i wouldn’t. she kissed me, i didn’t even—”
“but you didn’t stop her.”
he froze, his jaw tightening as your words landed. “what?”
“you didn’t fucking stop her, rafe.” your voice cracked, the dam breaking as tears spilled over despite your best effort to keep them at bay. “how am i supposed to believe you when you just stood there?”
“baby, please.” his voice broke, raw and pleading. he reached for you again, his hands trembling now, but you stepped back, shaking your head. the distance between you felt insurmountable.
“i trusted you,” you whispered, the words bitter on your tongue. “i fucking trusted you.”
“and you still can,” he insisted, his voice rising with desperation, his eyes glistening with unshed tears. “you’re it for me. you’re the only one, i swear. she’s nothing, okay? she’s fucking nothing.”
“but i’m supposed to just ignore what i saw?” your voice rose too, the pain clawing its way out of your chest, demanding to be heard. “how many times do i have to wonder if i’m enough for you, rafe? if you even fucking want me?”
“you are,” he said fiercely, the raw intensity of his words cutting through the tension. he stepped closer, slow and deliberate, until you were backed against the wall. his hand cupped your face, forcing you to meet his gaze. “you’re everything. i need you to believe me.”
you shook your head, fresh tears spilling over, your chest heaving as you tried to catch your breath. “i don’t know if i can.”
his hand dropped, his expression crumpling as the weight of your words crushed him. “don’t say that,” he begged, his voice barely above a whisper. “don’t fucking say that.”
“then prove it,” you said, your voice trembling but firm, the storm inside you raging. “prove to me that i’m not wasting my time loving you.”
his eyes searched yours, frantic, his chest rising and falling as he tried to find the words. and for the first time, you saw it. fear. raw, unfiltered fear. because he knew. he knew he was on the verge of losing you, and for once in his life, rafe cameron didn’t have a plan to fix it.
and the worst part? you weren’t sure you wanted him to.

Tumblr media Tumblr media
After Jungkook left Y/n found herself having an anxiety attack. What the hell did she just do? She was so mad and frustrated with her feelings and having Jungkook so close to her, so defenseless made her fold in so many ways. She made a mistake and now she couldn’t look at Jungkook like before. Not when he knows almost everything.
She never thought that love would be this complicated. If only she knew this before, she would’ve never gotten so close to him. How dumb of her. Now mistakes were made and things were said... Oh how she wished to take them all back. She doesn’t know how much time she spent there alone until she saw Lisa run towards her with a very worried face.
“Are you okay? I called you so many times, why didn’t you answer? I was worried sick!” she kneeled in front of her, checking if she had injuries. It was then when Y/n remembered Jungkook’s words
I only found out that you were back because I saw your friend here yesterday
All of a sudden Y/n gets up startling Lisa a little bit and goes a little far, breathing heavily. She turned to face her again and Lisa saw disappointment in her eyes.
“You talked to Jungkook yesterday?” Lisa’s face went blank.
“I can explain” she tried approaching her friend but was dismissed. “Y/n I was trying to help somehow and ---”
“So you told him I was back and that he should come here to talk?! Seriously, what’s wrong with you?” Y/n’s tears threatened to leave. Again “He did come here to talk. Out of nowhere, on my first day back to work Lisa! It went awful. We fought – I told him I was in love with him and it all went downhill afterwards. I love you and I’m so thankful for your support during these days but this was any of your concern and you shouldn't have gotten involved in this. How did you know who he was anyway?”
“When I walked in, the coffee shop was very calm so I went to make my order and ended up making small talk with Sana. That’s when I noticed him sat down with his coffee in front of him looking outside the window. I asked her if he was Jungkook. He must’ve felt the looks on him because when he saw me, he got up so quick he almost fell. He was very straightforward, I was actually impressed. He asked me about you, if you were back in town, that he saw some pictures of us on our trip and invited me to sit with him so we could talk a bit... I know I shouldn’t have gotten involved, but he looked so heartbroken Y/n, you should’ve seen his face. If I had told you he was gonna see you you’d have run like you always do, because you’re never ready to face your problems” Y/n stayed quiet. Even tho she didn’t appreciate Lisa’s attitude, she had to agree with her partially. She didn’t say anything else, preparing herself to finally close the shop and heading home with Lisa.
The drive home was very quiet and the tension was palpable. Lisa would give her some looks here and there, which Y/n decided to ignore, focusing on the view outside. It had started to rain and the radio was playing "You Broke Me First" by Tate Mcrae. Fate was definitely giving her reasons to cry even more. She grabbed a tissue and blew her nose. She was so absorbed in her thoughts that she didn't notice them entering the garage at home. As soon as she felt the car pull into the parking lot, she quickly got out of the car and started heading towards the elevator that would take them to their floor. A few seconds later she felt Lisa beside her.
“I am really sorry Y/n. I just wanted to help smooth things over so you could understand each other once and for all. You both have a lot to talk about. There are many points that need to be clarified and neither you or him should jump to conclusions. I would never lie to you so when I say he was desperate to know something about you he really was Y/n, otherwise the first question in his head wouldn't be if you were okay and why were you mad at him.”
Y/n looked at Lisa while wipping her tears. “What did you guys talk about?” Lisa gave half a smile
“He was super nervous. Honestly, he didn't know where to start, his hands were shaking, you know? From the looks of it, it was clear that these were difficult days for him too. Then he thanked me for sitting with him and asked how you were, that you weren't responding to his texts and didn't understand your attitude. He told me about when you two met and that you were very close from then on, which is why he was so worried for not hearing anything from you in so many days. Then he confessed that he realized your distance from the moment he started dating Sewoon and asked me if I knew her too. He said he was sorry he didn't bring it up sooner and that he should have talked to you first and been more honest. In the end I mentioned that you would go back to work today, in case he wanted to talk to you, but I never thought it would go so wrong Y/n. What happened?”
When they entered the house, they took off their shoes and put them away. Y/n went to the fridge and poured some orange juice for both of them. The fireplace was already lit, creating the perfect moment to drown the sorrows. It was so cozy and so warm. So homely. It was what she needed for the shitty weather and her mood. Y/n put her feet up on the couch and motioned for Lisa to sit next to her.
“I wasn’t expecting him at all as you can imagine, so it was shoking for me when I heard his angelic voice. I froze. It took me a while to realize that this was going to happen and that there was no way to escape it. I don't know why he says I never said anything to him. After we arrived, I sent him a text, which he never responded to. Hence my surprise was even bigger when I saw him standing there, so I said the first thing it occurred to me. I told him we were closed. *facepalm.* He was so angry, but I can't understand why. I was too nervous to think about it anyway. You know I avoid this kind of confrontation when I feel cornered and he pressed and kept pressing even more when I started dodging his questions.”
Y/n stops so she could five another sip on her drink. Honestly she wanted this to be a very strong shot, but after the last drinking binge, she promised herself that she wouldn't drink again in the near future.
“It was in that exchange of words that I couldn't contain myself any longer and confessed everything. I confessed that I was in love with him, that I knew he and Sewoon were still seeing each other and that I wanted some time to get my ideas together, organize my head. I tried to stay physically distant from him as much as possible, but he kept getting closer and closer to me. I swear to you Lisa, the only reason  I didn't kiss him was out of respect for Sewoon, even if she didn't have the same respect for me. I couldn't, so I sent him away. He looked so defeated, but I was so embarrassed about everything. I know I shouldn't have kicked him out of there like that. It's not his fault, I know, he didn't know but still... Every time I look at him I see a shadow of Sewoon and it breaks my heart every time.” Lisa facepalmed herself.
“You're both being idiots. Want to know my honest opinion? I think that all this time you were interested in each other and neither of you had the courage to make the first move. Then Sewoon came along and destroyed everything else. She can manipulate things very well. I know this firsthand. Jungkook told me that besides coming here he also went to your house a lot. Did you know that?" Y/n made a shocked face
"How, if I never told him where I lived?"
“He forced Sewoon to show him. He told me in passing that he had some strong arguments with her after you left and those were NOT couple arguments, but trivial arguments. She was always super calm. It made him feel weird how could she be so calm while her best friend was missing out of the blue... what are you gonna do next?”
Y/n thought for a while. “Something I should’ve done a long time ago.”
Tumblr media
The next day and after a very bad night's sleep, Y/n woke up and got ready for another (long) day of work. After yesterday's episode she doubted very much that he would show up there. Yesterday she almost sent him a message apologizing, but she deleted it. She couldn', it was for her own good. Instead she texted Sewoon to meet up with her on her work break, but got no response from her, however Y/n was already expecting it.
The day went by normally, lots of movement and little rest. When there were only 5 minutes left for her break, she heard someone calling her name. Sewoon stood in front of her with her hair perfectly styled, designer clothes and sunglasses hanging from her red knitted sweater. Time really didn't pass for her. She was always so youthful, so free from worries. Y/n looked at her colleague and hinted that she was going to take a break, to which Sana nodded and headed outside with Sewoon. They were silent for a while and when Y/n realized she wasn't going to say anything she decided to make the first move
“How are you?” Sewoon made a disdainful face
“Cut the bullshit Y/n. There’s no need to pretend anymore, you and I know that very well, don’t we? Say what you have to say and stop wasting my time. Unlike you, I do have a fulfilled life.” Y/n felt bad about the way she was talking to her. So this is what Lisa was talking about? this unknown side of her. Yeah, because despite everything Sewoon had never spoken to her like that but, then again, Y/n was never against her game either. What an unpleasant surprise. How had she never noticed this side of her? It just proves how blind she is.
Idiot
“Why? Why are you acting like this? I never did anything wrong to you for you to punish me like this. On the contrary Sewoon, I've always been there for you! Is this because of Jungkook?”
“It's for everything Y/n. Why didn't you continue in your hidden place? God, I waited every day for the news that something had happened to you so you could finally leave my life once and for all. But life is thankless. Besides you being here in front of me right now, you made me waste time with Jungkook looking for you, while you were having fun with MY ex. You’re a bitch. Of all people you had to be with him and I’ll never forgive you for that.”
“You must be crazy. It wasn't planned! what the fuck Sewoon. It was by chance, but let me tell you that I'm glad it happened because I discovered a lot of things about your relationship! Things that aren't the way you said they were, and we've always been friends. My mistake was giving in to all your whims and distance myself from him because YOU wanted me to. Now I know it was all just your insecurity, wasn't it? Since we are confessing things, admit it! I know he had a crush on me in school and I also know you kept something it belonged to me this whole time, or you forgot about the letter he asked you to deliver?”
After saying such words, Sewoon turned white as snow. If that's how she wanted it, that's how she would get it. “And about Jungkook, once again I was the one who met him first, way before you --”
“Ohh please Y/n. Yes I admit I kept it all to myself because I liked him and I hated the fact that he was crushing on you, out of everyone. But you know me, one way or another, if I want something I get it and the proof of that is Jungkook.”  Every time she spoke of him, Y/n felt a sharp pang in her heart and she was terrified of what was coming next.
“He fell so easily into my hands and it was so nice to see your face every time you saw us together. I loved every second of your despair. You met him first, yes it's true, but after that I was first in everything. Not you. The way he touches, the way he kisses. How he fucks. I know it all, and you? Do you know what this is? No, because you're nothing more than a pathetic virgin. You'll never get past that. The game with Jungkook is not over, my love. This is just the beginning. You'll see him choose me every time, even if it's just for a quick fuck. It wouldn't be the first time or you really think that this didn't happen while we were apart? My dear, you have a long way to go before you reach me. Face it, you're not enough. Never were, never will be. You took Tae away from me so it's only fair I take Jungkook away from you.”
After these words, Sewoon took grabbed her sunglasses and put them on her face and walked away from Y/n, not without winking at her and blew her a kiss. Y/n was terrified, completely out of place and empty. Sewoon was right, she didn't know what it was. She had won. Although at first she felt victorious with the way she was confronting her former best friend, that quickly fell apart. Now she was defeated, trying her best to hold back her tears until she left work. And with that mask, she went into the second part of his shift.
Of course it didn't last long. An hour after the fight, a couple came in and made their order. Y/n couldn't help but look at them and think about Jungkook, about Sewoon and everything she reported they did. Them on dates, them in bed. It was the breaking point for Y/n. She told Sana she was going to the bathroom and broke down there. She lost count of the time she was closed there until Sana went to check on her and found her in a deplorable state. She had seen Sewoon come in so she knew the outcome of the conversation wasn't going to be the best. She hugged her tightly and told her to go home that she would take care of it, since the new intern who had recently joined the team was also there and he was actually quite experienced. Y/n thanked her, went to change her uniform and left.
She was originally going to call Lisa but decided not to bother her. She was also at work and didn't want to cause any more inconvenience, so she decided to take a walk. A long one. During it she managed to calm down little by little. She sat for a while in a garden full of happy parents and children playing. She remembered her parents and how much she missed them. In these low moments, she just wanted to go back to being a child, however she remembered that even then, life wasn’t easy for her.
It then started to get cold so she continued her walk. Without knowing how or why, she found herself in front of the tattoo shop where Jungkook worked. How the hell did she end up there? It was definitely her subconscious playing tricks on her. With that she just prayed that he wouldn't show up, but guess what? as soon as she had finished having this thought, she heard the main door open and three people came out: Jungkook, a slightly older man and a boy about her age with a film on his arm. With that, she just prayed that he wouldn't show up, but guess what, as soon as she finished thinking about it, she heard the main door open and three people coming out: Jungkook, a slightly older man and a boy about her age with a red arm and something transparent protecting the area. Must have finished a session for sure. Hidden, she watched the scene in front of her. Jungkook was calm and talking to the other two guys when suddenly he took out a pack of cigarettes. What? since when did he star smoking?
Every time Y/n saw him he became even more attractive. She knew just as he caught her attention, he also caught many other girls' attention (and boys too, I bet). And it was something that never crossed her mind before. The amount of girls that must be waiting for him to give them a chance and for a moment she felt small, followed by an ironic laugh. It didn't matter anymore, she mentioned it was over and she was going to do everything to move on. She deserved to be happy.
Y/n hoped they would quickly enter the establishment, as it was getting very cold and she still had a 15 minute's walk home.  Looking back at the entrance, she now sees a fourth person in the group, a very pretty girl, redhead with wavy hair. She was wearing black shorts and a white top which highlighted her tanned skin. Looking at her from top to bottom, you could see her right arm covered in tattoos and a few more spread across her other arm and left leg. She seemed to be familiar to Jungkook, because as soon as he saw her they gave her a tight hug and she even took his cigarette to smoke it. The intimacy must have been very strong because he didn't make any uncomfortable face. Y/n wished she was that badass. After everyone smoked their cigarettes, they went back inside. She waited a few more minutes so she could continue on her way without being seen. And there she went, cold, hungry and jealous.
It had only been a couple of hours since she had last spoken to him and while her world was upside down, his seemed whole, as if having "losing" a friend made no difference. You could see the traffic more now with rush hour. It was getting dark and people were heading home. Before going home aswell Y/n decided to take a detour to her favorite place to take dinner home. Lisa had said she would be late today, so it was up to her.
Meanwhile the street had quieted down a little, but it was only for a short while because the noise of a motorcycle started to become noticeable, yet she ignored it until she started to hear constant beeping. Starting to get scared, she decided to ignore it for her own good, but the beeping started to get even more constant and faster until it seemed like someone had said her name. She stopped and saw the motorcycle slow down only to be surprised by Jungkook. Just when she wanted to run from him, was when she would see him the most. Did she ever mention she hated her luck?
He motioned her to move forward so he could park the bike safely. Slowly she walked towards him, because the path she wanted to follow was that one, so it was difficult to go around it. He took off his helmet and watched her walk towards him. My god, could he not look away? how shameless. She gave him a nod, grabbing at the same time the coat she was wearing to hide the nervousness she was feeling. She wasn't going to stop but when she got closer he spoke.
“Please don’t pretend I’m not here. I stopped to greet you, the one thing I’m expecting you to do is for you to greet me back” - son of a bitch, Y/n thought.
“Hi Jungkook, good to see you. Okay bye then” Y/n was already leaving when Jungkook grabbed her arm. Gosh, this was becoming a habit.
“Please don’t do that. Don’t pretend that we’re strangers over something so stupid. Don’t do that to me Y/n. Besides, don’t you know how dangerous it is to walk all by yourself? For a smart girl you’re pretty reckless” Y/n released her arm from his grip.
“Last time I checked I’m an adult fully aware of the dangers and consequences of her actions. Thank you but I don't need another father I already have one." She was mad over his “something stupid” line. What the fuck. Were her feelings so pathethic? Jungkook stirred.
Discomfort? Check.
“I'm sorry. I'm just worried about you walking around by yourself, it's dangerous. As much as it costs you to believe, I care about you. You never had any reason to complain about that Y/n, I don't know the reason behind all this arrogance right now.” She wanted to say that he was wrong, but she couldn’t. Despite the fact that when he was with Sewoon he wouldn’t care for her at all (or so she thought), somehow he was right, she was letting her emotions get the best of her. Jungkook never failed her when she needed him the most and every time she needed to talk, he was the first one to open space for it. She was being unfair.
“You're right. I'm sorry for what I said, I guess. Not that it's an excuse, but today was a difficult day. Thank you for your concern, even tho I'm already used to it. Don't forget that I work in a store that closes at 11 p.m and when I'm at that shift there is no type of ride home other than my two legs and little feet.  I'll be fine, don't be late because of me. Thank you once again" She started to move forward but he stopped her from taking any further steps. Again
“Let me give you a ride” She looked at him.
"No need, I still have to take a detour, it will only get in your way. It’s healthy to walk, you can--”
“Stop being so stubborn Y/n. I wanna give you a ride, didn’t you catch that yet? And what were you doing near my shop Y/n? I saw you passing by it when I came outside. Are you okay?”
“What do you mean you saw me? you guys had just walked in, I checked !” Shit she just lost her disguise
“I had to step outside again and saw you around the corner. I warned my friends I had to leave, hoping I could still catch you. Thank God I did. ” You tried your best not to talk about the girl who was with him and how comfortable they looked. Not that it was your business anyway, you had nothing to do with it and it came from you the decision to put a distance in your friendship. You were trying, you swear you were, you wanted to keep that distance, but for some reason fate kept pushing you towards each other's path.
“I don’t know why, you seemed very busy back there.” She said it without realizing it and when she replayed the words that came out of her mouth, she wanted to punch herself.  Isn't there a day when things don't go the way she wants?
Jungkook understood the double meaning of what she said, referring to the girl who was with him. He already knew she had seen them as soon as he went outside to smoke a second cigarette since the first one was "stolen" by Athena, his brother's girlfriend. They got along really well and she had just started working at the store.
"I finished my sessions a long time ago. I was just waiting for Athena to give her something. She’s my brother’s girlfriend and she started working there a couple weeks ago. When I saw you, I found it strange because you never take this route and I wanted to make sure you were okay or if you wanted to talk to me now that your calmer. Now that I'm here, you have no excuse to walk home. Even if you need to go somewhere I'll take you, it doesn't bother me at all"
For some reason Y/n's face became more relieved and although she tried to hide it, even Jungkook himself noticed it. When she said nothing more, he handed her the spare helmet. Initially he was going to help her put it on, but she took it off his hand and put it on herself. Y/n knew there was no point in insisting with him. After being friends for so long, something she knew too well was how stubborn and insistent Jungkook was, so she put on her helmet while Jungkook settled himself on his Harley waiting for her to get on. Then she started to get nervous, where should she hold on?
Jungkook noticed her expression, so when she sat on the motorcycle, he grabbed her one of her arms and put it around his waist, pulling her closer to him. Y/n wasn't expecting that gesture so when she tried to move away a little, she heard Jungkook say "no", pulling her close to him again. Y/n's breathing was uneven, yet she tried to hide it, putting her other arm around him casually. She swears she saw Jungkook smile in the rearview mirror. When she thought she was back to normal, Jungkook turned his head back and she almost passed out. He was so breathtaking.
"Where to?" Y/n looked at him and said the name of her favorite restaurant and they started their way over there. Every now and then she would try to move away a bit, but when he noticed her presence further away, by "coincidence" he would brake, making her hit his back with her chest. The trip was based on his unexpected braking and her complaints about it. Anyone who saw them like this would think they were a couple in love. If only, she thought.
If only
La dolce Perla it was the name of the restaurant. Y/n discovered this place while walking with her mother one day when she came to visit her at her work place and since then she started going there, especially on her worst days. Shortly after she discovered the place, she met the owner and they became close. Jeff was a gentleman in his 50s, super friendly and approachable. He was her go to when needed comfort. Despite living there Jungkook had never heard of that place, but he really liked the aesthetics. Entering, they immediately came face to face with Jeff.
“Y/n, my dear. How are you doing? Long time no see. We were already missing having you around."
“Ohh stop it Jeff” she laughed. “I missed you too --.” she was suddenly interrupted Jeff - “Wait... Is he your boyfriend? Gosh Y/n, I’m happy it worked well for you in the end --” Y/n turned white and interrupted Jeff back
“No no no. Not my boyfriend at all. He’s a – hmm- friend, yeah. Actually I came here to ask if you had any food left so I could take home. I didn’t eat much today and I was really craving your amazing food so --”
“You could have said that already. Even if I didn’t have anything I’d have it prepared just for you. But since you and your friend are here, why don't you eat here? Today is a quiet day, we have free tables. Kara will direct you to the main room.” She understood Jeff's scheme and refused the offer until she heard Jungkook's voice.
“This place is amazing and the food looks wonderful. You’re not gonna take this opportunity away from me, right? Next time I might not be so lucky and it will be your fault" And that was how Kara got them a table overlooking the fantastic outdoor garden. They were also at a more secluded table, with a little more privacy and without many eyes on them and perhaps that's why all she wanted to do was run away.
Y/n made her request and Jungkook did the same. Kara went to deliver their order and came back with a bottle of red wine and set it on the table, winking at her. The atmosphere of the restaurant was wonderful but the tension between them was enormous. She knew she should have insisted more on him not accompany her, even if it meant running away from him, but he would think she was childish. Jungkook took the bottle and poured both glasses and drank a little, without taking his eyes off her.
“ So... with all this you ended up not answering my question." Y/n looked at him confused. "Are you okay? I thought you were closing this week. When I saw you near my tattoo shop I thought it was a mirage, but then I realized it wasn't. You know I'm here if you need to talk. Or anything else.”
It was then that she remembered Sewoon and her words, then she looked at the scene between her and Jungkook. Would this be a normal date with him? everything Sewoon experienced with him. She shook her head, trying to forget that thought. Fortunately the food arrived.
“Yeah, everything’s fine. I changed schedules with Sana today, I needed to take care of some matters and... yeah, that's it.” she said, tasting her meal. Jungkook followed her actions before adding:
“I think you forget that I know you very well and I know when you are lying. Are you gonna run away again? Because let me know if you do Y/n. I was devastated by the fact that you left and didn’t tell me anything. An “I’m okay” would be enough. We’d talk whenever you were ready. I know you have some things to say and honestly so do I. I’ll wait, just don’t push me away. I miss you.”
Without any warning, her eyes began to form tears. It was a good thing that both of their plates were almost empty, because she couldn't take it anymore. She whispered "sorry, I can't" to Jungkook, got up and went to the exit. It was too much and she wasn't ready. It was all very recent. She would talk to Jeff later and pay for the meal another day. At that moment she just wanted to get out of there. It was for a short time because Jungkook was by her side after a few minutes.
"Stop acting like this Y/n. Stop running away and face things as they are. Face me!" He was so frustrated right now
“What do you want from me Jungkook? Hm? I already told you everything. I’m in love with you. I fell in love with you and I’m so fucking mad about it. It could be everyone but you. That’s what you want to hear?” Jungkook felt a sharp pain in his heart. Was it so awful to like him? Y/n was frustrated but kept going
“I'm not the type to fall in love. I always ran away from that. I never had a boyfriend, I never pressured myself to give in to boys at school and I never liked going out at night.  That’s Sewoon not me. I’m shy. I like to be in my corner. Maybe that’s the reason Sewoon approached me. I was so insecure and quiet that I wasn't even good at defending myself and that's what she did and we've been friends ever since, or so I thought at least. Then I met you Jungkook and--” The tears she was holding were now falling. “and you changed that. Don’t ask me how or why. I was so messy on the day we met and you still talked to me so nice. Never thought I’d see you again but the next day came and you were there and after that too and we created such a nice bond. I didn't want to ruin what we had, because for me it was rare and I knew it was impossible for you to reciprocate my feelings. Just look at you and look at me. You are the kind of person everyone wants while I am the kind of person no one notices.” Y/n was crying for real now and Jungkook tried approaching her but she stepped back.
It was time
“That’s where you’re wrong Y/n. I noticed you ever since the first day-. Why do you think I kept going back? I have a coffee shop across my work place Y/n- I- don’t you think it’d be easier for me to go there than to take a motorcycle trip to go to yours?” he tried approaching her once again. She let him this time. They were inches away from each other at this point when she looked at him with such an intense gaze Jungkook felt shivers down his spine.
“I was going to tell you, you know. That I liked you. I think it was fate, because it was on that same day that you asked me to introduce you to Sewoon and I already knew how the situation would unfold. Sewoon is beautiful. You are perfect and it was just a matter of time for you to find your way into each other's embrace.” Jungkook felt like a huge son of a bitch with what he was hearing. Fuck, this wasn't how he wanted it to be. “I wanna go home Jungkook. This is too much for me to handle and I need to slow down before I reach the point of breaking. I don't want to break in front of you. Not you, not right now"
Jungkook nodded and kissed her forehead respecting her request. He could do that, he could wait. In fact he was going to wait. He let this situation drag for far too long and had to put an end in it. There were so many lapses in this that even himself was confused and there was only one person he could talk to other than you.
He grabbed Y/n's helmet and put it on her head, doing the same with his own. The rest of the trip was silent, but there was no tension anymore, more like a sense of relief. The only time she spoke was to tell him where she was living now. He parked in front of the house and helped her take off her helmet, grabbing her hand, stroking it. Y/n exchanged glances between his eyes and their hands. Once again she wanted to kiss him so badly and one more time Sewoon's words replayed in her head so all she did was give him a tight hug. Not for him, but for her, she was in need of that comfort. As she was in his arms she could smell his perfume. Oh - she remembers this smell. He's using the perfume she gave him on his birthday. Her heart was so warm from this.
Everyone talks about how little things are important. Those people were right.
Before Y/n walked away, she gave him a small kiss on the cheek. She then felt his hands on the sides of her waist. For a split second she thought he was going to kiss her and got a little anxious. She doesn't know if he noticed because after she heard Jungkook say "I'm waiting for you". Y/n nodded and stepped back, making her way to the front door. When she saw he was still there she waved and went in. Her heart was racing. What was that? Butterflies in the stomach? More like the whole zoo in it. Pieces by pieces the truth would come out, but would you and Jungkook find a way for each other's life again?
More important, would you be able to leave your insecurities behind and give in to the feeling you have been avoiding for so long? You hope so because you'd do anything to have Jungkook by your side. You can't have been the only one who felt the sexual after he drop you off. The atmosphere between you both was different and it had nothing to do with friendship.
You were sure of that

Hi!! I don't know if my request sounds weird, but can you do some slightly suggestive or fluff scenarios of the uppermoons with an extremely quiet and shy darling? Like, they love them back, but are just too shy and bashful to be in the same room with them because their darling has never really felt as much love as they give them? And maybe add in their darling had a rare human condition like Vitiligo or Heterochromia and how they demons react to it?
Sorry about uploading your request late I hope you enjoy!
Tumblr media
Kokushibo (Upper Moon One)
Kokushibo was never one to pry, but he noticed how you always avoided him despite your affections being painfully obvious.
He could hear the way your heart raced whenever he was near, see the way your eyes darted away when he so much as glanced in your direction. But the moment he moved toward you?
You would flee.
Tonight was no different. You were sitting quietly in a dimly lit room when he entered, and the second you realized he was there, your entire body tensed like a deer caught in a trap. Your hands clenched the fabric of your sleeves as your heterochromatic eyes flickered toward him—one a deep shade, the other an ethereal, striking hue.
Kokushibo exhaled slowly, his six eyes watching your every movement. “Why do you tremble before me?”
You swallowed hard, gripping your kimono even tighter. Because you make my heart feel things I don’t know how to handle, you wanted to say. But the words wouldn’t come.
His gaze softened, and without another word, he was suddenly kneeling before you. His clawed fingers reached forward, barely grazing the edge of your sleeve.
“Do not fear me.” His voice was quieter this time, low and deep, vibrating through your very bones. “I have no intention of harming you.”
His hand shifted, cupping your cheek. His thumb traced over your vitiligo-marked skin, his expression unreadable. “Your beauty is rare,” he murmured. “Much like you yourself.”
Your breath hitched, and before you could stop yourself, you buried your face into his shoulder, too overwhelmed to even look at him.
Kokushibo let out a low, knowing chuckle. “Ah… I see.”
For once, he allowed himself to indulge, his arms slowly wrapping around you, caging you in a warmth that sent a shiver down your spine.
“You will have to grow accustomed to my presence,” he whispered against your ear. “For I have no intention of letting you go.”
Doma (Upper Moon Two)
Doma found your shyness adorable.
The way you would become so flustered in his presence, how you would stammer and look away whenever he got too close—he lived for it.
“Aw, my little darling, why do you look like a scared rabbit?” he cooed, resting his chin on his palm as he watched you from across the room.
You didn’t answer, instead curling further into yourself. Your hands were clenched into small fists on your lap, your entire body screaming nervousness.
Doma sighed dramatically before suddenly closing the distance between you in a blur.
You barely had time to react before he was leaning in, his breath ghosting over your ear. “Come now, pretty thing. How can you love me if you can’t even look at me?”
Your heart slammed against your ribs. He was too close.
Doma hummed, his fingers dancing along the patchwork of vitiligo on your skin. “This is rather charming, you know. A rare, delicate pattern… suiting for someone as special as you.”
You squeezed your eyes shut, refusing to meet his gaze.
He chuckled. “So shy~! I could just eat you up.” He paused, then grinned. “Figuratively, of course. Unless… you’d like me to be literal?”
The way you whimpered had him laughing, pulling you into a tight embrace before you could bolt.
“I was joking, my sweet,” he purred, pressing a playful kiss against your temple. “But do stay close, won’t you? I do love watching you squirm.”
Akaza (Upper Moon Three)
Akaza didn’t understand your behavior at first.
He knew you loved him. He could hear it in your heartbeat, smell it in your nervous sweat. But every time he tried to spend time with you, you would shrink away, barely able to handle his presence.
It frustrated him. Not in an angry way—no, more in a desperate way.
So tonight, when you tried to escape his company once again, he finally reached out and grabbed your wrist.
“Enough.” His voice was firm, but not unkind.
You froze, eyes wide as you dared to look up at him.
His grip was gentle, but unyielding. “Why do you run?”
You swallowed hard, your free hand trembling. “I… I just…”
Akaza’s cerulean eyes softened. With deliberate slowness, he lifted your hand and pressed it against his chest—right over where his heart should be.
“Feel that?” he murmured.
You did. Or rather, you didn’t—there was no heartbeat, just an empty, unnatural stillness.
“I don’t have a heart,” he whispered. “But when I’m with you… I swear, it feels like I do.”
Tears pricked at your eyes, and before you could stop yourself, you leaned into him, hiding your burning face against his chest.
Akaza stiffened for half a second before his entire body relaxed, his arms slowly wrapping around you in return.
A rare smile graced his lips. “There we go… no more running.”
Hantengu & His Clones (Upper Moon Four)
Hantengu’s clones all had vastly different ways of reacting to your overwhelming shyness. Each one had their own way of handling you, and none of them were particularly subtle about their affections.
Sekido (Anger)
Sekido had no patience for your avoidance. He wasn’t angry at you—no, he was angry at himself for not knowing how to handle you properly.
Every time he entered the room, you would flinch, avoid eye contact, or look ready to disappear into thin air. It frustrated him to no end.
One evening, he had enough.
“Stay,” he ordered, blocking the doorway before you could slip out.
You tensed. “I-I just need some fresh air…”
“Lie.” His crimson eyes narrowed. “You always run.”
You swallowed hard, gripping the edges of your kimono.
Sekido exhaled sharply, his hand suddenly grasping your chin—not roughly, but firmly enough to make you meet his gaze.
“Look at me.” His voice dropped to a near-growl. “You fear nothing. No one can harm you. Not while I exist.”
Your heart raced. The way he stared at you, as if claiming you, sent shivers down your spine.
Then, in an unexpected moment of gentleness, he brushed his thumb over your vitiligo-marked skin, his frown softening.
“You are not allowed to hide from me.”
You swore he looked almost flustered himself when you buried your face against his chest in response.
Karaku (Pleasure)
Karaku found your shyness deliciously entertaining.
“My, my~ You really are a delicate little thing, aren’t you?” He chuckled, watching as you practically shrank the moment he leaned in.
You turned away, your face burning. He was too much.
Karaku tilted his head, an amused smirk tugging at his lips. Then, without warning, he slid behind you, arms snaking around your waist, pulling you back against his chest.
You gasped, squirming in embarrassment. “K-Karaku—!”
He hushed you, his breath tickling your ear. “Shhh… you’re always so nervous. Relax, won’t you?”
One of his fingers traced absentmindedly over the unique patterns on your arm, his touch featherlight. “This is cute. Just like you.”
You shivered, too overwhelmed to respond.
Karaku loved this reaction.
He hummed, pressing a teasing kiss just below your ear. “If I kiss every inch of you, will you finally stop hiding from me?”
Aizetsu (Sorrow)
Aizetsu understood your feelings. He, too, was prone to melancholy, and your bashful nature only made him more drawn to you.
“You are too sweet,” he murmured one evening, watching as you fidgeted nervously under his gaze.
You peeked up at him but quickly looked away, your face burning.
Aizetsu sighed, resting his head against his palm. “It makes my heart ache when you avoid me…”
Guilt pricked at your chest. “I-I don’t mean to,” you whispered.
He perked up at the sound of your voice. “Then why?”
You swallowed. “I… I don’t know how to handle this much affection.”
For a moment, Aizetsu was silent. Then, gently, he reached out, his fingers ghosting over your cheek. “I don’t know how to handle it either.”
Your eyes widened.
His expression softened. “But… if it’s with you, I think I’d like to try.”
For the first time, you held his gaze—and the sheer adoration in his eyes nearly stole your breath away.
Urogi (Joy)
Urogi was the most relentless when it came to your shyness.
He thrived on making you flustered, whether it was through playful teasing or sudden displays of affection.
One night, he swooped down from nowhere, grabbing you and lifting you effortlessly into his arms.
“U-Urogi!” you squeaked, gripping onto him for dear life.
He grinned, his golden eyes alight with mischief. “Ooooh? You’re holding onto me so tightly~ How bold of you, little bird!”
You tried to push away, but he only tightened his hold. “Nope! You’re staying right here.”
His talons lightly traced patterns over your exposed skin, stopping when he reached the distinct markings of your vitiligo. His expression turned curious.
“This is beautiful,” he mused, dragging his claws along the contrast.
You shuddered, overwhelmed by his touch.
Then, he licked the side of your neck playfully, his wings flaring out. “Mmm, I should keep you forever~”
Gyokko (Upper Moon Five)
Gyokko was obsessed with beauty, so the moment he laid eyes on you, he became fixated.
Your heterochromatic eyes, your vitiligo-marked skin—it was something otherworldly, something he had never seen before.
“You are art,” he had said upon first meeting you, his voice dripping with reverence.
But your unbearable shyness only made him more impatient.
“Why must you avoid me?” he huffed, watching as you tried to keep a distance. “Do you not understand how rare you are?”
You bit your lip, fingers trembling. “I… I’m just not used to this much attention.”
Gyokko clicked his tongue, displeased. “Ridiculous. You deserve to be worshiped.”
And before you could react, he suddenly caged you in with his tentacle-like arms, pulling you way too close for comfort.
His eyes gleamed. “Shall I carve your beauty into porcelain? Preserve it for all eternity?”
You squeaked in alarm, your entire body overheating. “G-Gyokko, you can admire me without turning me into a vase—!”
He chuckled darkly. “Mm… I suppose. But I’ll settle for never letting you out of my sight.”
Gyutaro & Daki (Upper Moon Six)
Gyutaro
Gyutaro had never thought of himself as someone who could deserve love.
So when he realized you loved him—despite your overwhelming shyness—he didn’t know what to do with himself.
“You really do like me, huh?” His voice was low, almost disbelieving, as he watched you fidget.
You nodded shyly, avoiding his piercing gaze.
Gyutaro scoffed. “Then why do ya always act like you’re scared of me?”
You swallowed hard. “I-I’m not scared… I just… I’ve never felt this much love before.”
His heart twisted painfully at that.
Without warning, he reached out, yanking you into his lap, arms tightening around you possessively.
“You better get used to it,” he muttered, his lips brushing against your ear. “’Cause I ain’t ever letting you go.”
Daki
Daki was dramatic about your shyness.
She hated how you avoided her.
“Ugh! Why won’t you look at me?!” she whined, grabbing your face and forcing you to meet her eyes.
You immediately turned red, your heterochromatic gaze flickering everywhere except at her.
Daki huffed, her fingers tracing over your vitiligo with fascination. “You’re so weird,” she muttered.
You flinched. “I-I—”
“But I like weird,” she interrupted, smirking.
Then, with zero warning, she kissed your cheek, making you squeak in surprise.
Daki laughed. “Aw~! You’re so easy to tease.”
She rested her chin on your shoulder, her arms wrapping around you smugly. “I think I’ll keep you all to myself~”

@schemmentits here it is! the last part! i really hope y’all enjoyed this as much as i do!
The Aspiring Teachers Program
Part 10 WC:~1.2k
No one had seen the questioning glance you had given Janine at the nickname that you had only told her about, and the slight nod she had given in return. She had hoped that you understood what she was trying to tell you. When you abruptly left, she was confident you had.
You walked as quickly as you could without running, and darted into your classroom. Could Melissa be… Em? No… could she? Your head was spinning. What kind of twist in fate would it be for you to fall in love with the same woman twice?
You had dreamed and daydreamed of so many scenarios of how you and Em would meet again, and somehow none of them looked like this. You were so confused.
You had managed to make your way to your desk, setting the food down, and you dropped into your chair. This didn’t make any sense. There’s no way Em- ‘Melissa?’ -wouldn’t have recognized Ronny. You had dyed your hair this color and that, and over the years your weight had fluctuated, so, sure, you could forgive her not recognizing you. But, Ronny? There was no way!
Last week, at the Institute, you had thought it was odd that Barb and Melissa had disappeared as quickly as they had appeared after finding Jamir. You chocked it up to the women being deep in conversation and wanting to continue it in privacy. When Ava, who Janine had woken once she realized Jamir was missing, had taken off after them, you questioned it slightly, but not enough to care. It was when Janine had slipped into the room after the three other women that you were insanely curious. So you had spent the last week grilling every single one of them about it, but no one budged. Now you knew.
Melissa had known who you were, who you really were, for a week! You tried to grapple with what that meant. She didn’t want this, didn’t want you, anymore. She had literally given you Ronny! That seemed like a sort of promise, didn’t it? If you had supposedly fallen in love with a woman at the incorrect time in your life, promised said woman a future as you walked out on her, and then found out that the woman who had been working with you, flirting with you, clearly showing feelings for you for at least the past year was THAT woman, you’d would march right up to her and kiss her like your life depended on it.
You didn’t have any more time to try and sort your thoughts, as Melissa appeared in the doorway. You jumped up, taking a few steps toward her. “You knew!” You glared at the redhead, for the first time in your life, you think. She looked guilty, rightfully so, but only for a moment before she was striding towards you.
Before you knew what was happening, she had a hand on the side of your face, pulling your lips to meet hers, her other hand coming to rest on your hip. Even if you had tried, you couldn’t help the way you melted into her. Your anger dissipated, mostly. You kissed her back with every ounce of emotion and love that had bubbled inside you, from that week with Em to this very moment with Melissa. Knowing now that they were one and the same, you felt that this had to be some kind of sign.
Melissa pulled her face away from yours, much to your dismay. You were very aware that she didn’t seem to be planning on moving either of her hands. “I’m sorry,” she looked deeply into your eyes. “For everything. Leaving you in Chicago, not telling you that night at the Institute, not kissin’ you that night, not kissin’ you a year ago.” She chuckled softly before getting a serious look on her face. “I mean it. I was… scared a year ago, and then when I realized that you were my little Parent Trap,” you blushed at her nostalgic nickname. “I was scared that if ya found out that I’m Em, you’d never wanna talk ta me again.”
“Melissa,” you laughed out softly, leaning into the hand still resting on your cheek. “I went home after that week, broke up with my high school sweetheart, and threw myself into studying to become a teacher because I knew that was my best chance to find you again.” You didn’t miss the slight gasp that came from her, or the way her eyes widened just slightly. “And then, uh, remember that development day that Gritty showed up because Janine scheduled him for the wrong day?”
Melissa nodded, and she was looking at you like you might be the only thing keeping her alive, so you continued.
“I knew I was in love with you, again,” you smiled at the memory of that day. “When you and Barb were so concerned for her after finding out about her tickets, I saw how much you care about her, and you, Barb, and Gritty talking her through her breakup, and I- I realized that for the first time, I was considering moving on from that week in Chicago, for you.”
Melissa closed her eyes, and you imagined the gears turning in her mind as she realized just how long the two of you had danced around the chemistry between you. She only opened them for a moment, just long enough to close the distance between your faces once more. This kiss was far more gentle, but no less full of desperation from a love gone long unfulfilled.
When she pulled away this time, she smiled at you and said, “I believe I owe you at least a date, huh?”
You had put in years of studying and student teaching to get your degree in teaching and months of sucking up to your boss to get a transfer to Philly, all that hard work, on the off chance that you would find the woman who had stolen your heart back in the Program. You must have had a whole lot of luck, or maybe Janine was right and this was destiny, to be here in Melissa’s arms.
You answered by pulling her back in for a gentle kiss, and whispering, “Duh,” against her lips.
After you both had come to the realization that you had to finish your respective workdays, Melissa pulled away. She took a couple steps back before speaking again. “Can we see where this goes? Just you and me? I don’t want Ava or Pipsqueak all up in my business, ya know?”
Before you could warn her that the two women she had just mentioned, along with Barb, were standing in the doorway, Ava called out, “It’s too late for that, Melissa! You threw that option out the window last week!”
Melissa sighed, with a smile, of course, and just shook her head softly as Janine squealed in excitement.
“I knew it! Destiny wins every time!” She was about to say something else when the bell rang, telling everyone that lunch was officially over. Melissa lingered behind, waiting for the three others to leave before she turned back to you.
“I never had- There wasn’t anybody since-” She looked as though she was searching for the words, so you waited patiently. After a moment, she continued, “You were the first person I was considering seriously datin’ since, well, you, Parent Trap.”
“Oh, Melissa. That’s- I had given up on finding Em, willing to pursue something with you,” you admitted with a smile, butterflies invading your stomach from her nickname from all those years ago.
You were going to have to have a conversation with Janine because you think you might be starting to believe in destiny.

REJECTION
Genre: angst, sulking, heartbreak, comfort
Cast: seungmin x you
Tumblr media
It was another day of disappointment. You had spent hours in the kitchen, carefully following the recipe your mother-in-law had shared, your hands moving with practiced precision. The smell of spicy kimchi stew filled the room, making your mouth water in anticipation. You couldn’t wait to see Seungmin’s face light up when he tasted it. After all, it was for him—you wanted to impress him, to show him you could be a part of his world, learning to cook his food, and blending your cultures together.
But when he walked in, there was the familiar line, the one that stung each time he said it: "I’m on a diet."
You smiled, but it didn’t reach your eyes. “I know,” you said quietly. He’d been saying it for days now. Days where you’d made his favorite dishes, only to be met with rejection. It hurt. Deep down, you felt like your efforts didn’t matter. The meals you prepared with love and care seemed meaningless when he refused them so easily.
The next day, you tried again. A simple dish of bulgogi, sweet and savory, the scent tempting. You placed it in front of him, your heart hoping for even a bite, but the words came again. “I’m on a diet.” His eyes flickered with guilt, but he never wavered.
This cycle went on for days—your enthusiasm dwindling, your hope fading. You tried to tell yourself that it was just a phase, that he was just being careful with his diet, but each rejection stung. It felt like more than food—it felt like your love, your effort, was going unnoticed. And you couldn’t shake the feeling that he was pushing you away in small ways, not realizing how deep the cut was.
--
One evening, feeling utterly defeated, you confided in Seungmin’s mother. “I don’t want to learn how to cook anymore,” you whispered, eyes downcast. “I’m tired. Seungmin doesn’t eat my food, so why should I keep trying?”
Her silence was heavy, but she understood. She knew her son, and she knew how hard it could be for him to balance his diet with his love for food. But you couldn’t ignore the ache in your chest—the yearning for his validation, for him to see your effort, for him to taste your love.
That night, after another failed attempt, you found yourself lying in bed, the kitchen cold and unused. You had given up. You were done. You couldn’t keep learning how to cook for someone who didn’t appreciate it, who didn’t even try.
But then, the door creaked open. Seungmin’s voice broke through the silence. “Y/N , Where are you?” he asked, sounding concerned.
You didn’t respond. Instead, you felt the bed dip as he sat beside you, his arms wrapping around you gently, pulling you into his chest.
“Did you eat yet?” he asked softly. His voice was tender, but you couldn’t bring yourself to look at him.
You shook your head. “No... I didn’t cook. It’s a waste to cook for just one person.”
He pulled back slightly, his hands cupping your face, his eyes searching yours. “Why didn’t you cook?” His voice was laced with worry, but there was something else there too—something more personal.
“I’m done learning,” you whispered, your voice shaky. “I’ve been trying for so long, but you always refuse to eat my food. Why should I keep doing it? Why should I keep trying when it feels like it doesn’t matter?”
Seungmin’s face fell, and for a moment, you saw guilt and regret flash across his features. “I’m sorry,” he said quietly. “I didn’t realize it was affecting you like this. I didn’t mean to hurt you.”
You could feel his hand trembling slightly as it rested on your cheek. He had no idea how much his words, his actions, had hurt you. He didn’t know how much it stung to feel like your love was invisible, like you were invisible.
“I’ll eat your food next time,” he promised, his voice filled with determination. “I’ll eat whatever you make, even if it’s just for me.”
But you didn’t know if that would ever be enough. The damage had been done. You had learned that sometimes, no matter how hard you tried, some things just weren’t meant to be. And the empty kitchen, the unappreciated dishes, was a reminder of that pain.
The silence hung heavy in the air as Seungmin’s words lingered between you, but they didn’t erase the weight you felt in your heart. You wanted to believe him. You wanted to believe that everything would get better, that the hurt would fade, but the emptiness was still there, gnawing at you.
Seungmin’s hands gently cupped your face, his thumb brushing over your skin, as if he were trying to physically soothe the pain that was deep inside you. “I didn’t know,” he whispered again, his voice small. “I never realized how much my refusal was hurting you.”
But it didn’t matter anymore, did it? His apology, no matter how sincere, couldn’t undo the days of feeling invisible, of feeling like your love wasn’t enough.
“I just wanted to make you proud,” you said, your voice barely audible. The words slipped out before you could stop them. “I wanted to show you that I care… that I’m learning, that I’m trying… But every time you say ‘I’m on a diet,’ it feels like everything I’m doing is pointless.”
Seungmin’s expression softened, his eyes filled with regret as he leaned closer to you. He gently kissed your forehead, his lips warm and comforting. “I never meant for you to feel that way. I’m sorry.”
You didn’t answer. What was there to say? The words felt like they would break something inside of you if you spoke them aloud. It wasn’t just about food anymore; it was about all the small ways you felt unseen, unheard. It was about the feeling that no matter what you did, it wouldn’t be enough to make him notice.
He pulled you into his arms, holding you tightly, as though trying to erase the distance that had grown between you. “I’ll change,” he murmured, his breath soft against your hair. “I promise I’ll eat whatever you cook. I’ll appreciate it. You mean everything to me.”
You let him hold you, but the tears that threatened to spill from your eyes were not just from the hurt you had been carrying. They were from the uncertainty—uncertainty that things might change, but the fear that they wouldn’t. The fear that your efforts would never truly be valued, no matter how hard you tried.
“I need more than just words,” you whispered, your voice breaking. “I need you to see me. I need you to show me that you care, not just by eating my food, but by understanding that I’m trying, too.”
Seungmin’s arms tightened around you, his lips brushing the top of your head as he nodded. “I will. I’ll show you. I’ll make it right. I’ll prove to you that you’re worth it, that I see you.”
But even as his words comforted you, a small voice in the back of your mind whispered doubts. Would he really change? Would he realize the impact his actions had on you, or would you always feel like you were giving more than you received?
You didn’t have the answers, and maybe you never would. But in that moment, as Seungmin held you close, you let yourself believe, just for a little while longer, that things might get better. You let yourself believe that this time, he really would notice you—not just as his partner, but as the person you were, with your own dreams, your own efforts, and your own love to give.
You stayed in Seungmin’s embrace, but the heaviness in your heart didn’t fully fade. You had a lot to say, and it had been building up for so long. You pulled away slightly, your hands still resting on his chest, but your gaze turned away from him. The frustration was bubbling up inside you, and you couldn’t keep it bottled any longer.
“Seungmin…” you started, your voice quieter now, but still sharp with emotion. “Why do you need to diet? You’re already so skinny. Every time I see you dance, your chest is practically just bones. I hate seeing you like that. It’s… it’s like you’re not taking care of yourself, and I don’t understand why you keep pushing yourself to go further.”
Seungmin looked at you, his eyes wide, a bit taken aback by the sudden change in tone. He opened his mouth to respond, but you weren’t done yet. You needed him to understand how deeply this was bothering you, how it was affecting not just your relationship, but your feelings about him.
“You’re already perfect to me, Seungmin. I don’t care about your body like that. I care about you. But every time you say ‘I’m on a diet,’ or turn down food, it feels like I’m not enough for you, that nothing is ever enough,” you continued, your voice trembling with the weight of the words you were finally letting out.
He opened his mouth again, but you raised a hand to stop him. “No, don’t apologize. I need you to listen. You’re already too thin. And I get it—I know it’s part of your job, part of being in Stray Kids, but it hurts me to see you doing this to yourself. It hurts me to see you so obsessed with your body, when what I care about is how healthy and happy you are. Why do you feel like you need to be even skinnier?”
Seungmin’s face fell, and he looked down at his hands. You could tell he wasn’t used to hearing this from you—he wasn’t used to seeing you so vulnerable, so open about your frustrations. He knew you cared, but he didn’t fully realize how much it hurt you.
“I don’t… I don’t want to hurt you,” he whispered, his voice soft. “It’s just... I feel pressure, you know? From the fans, from everything around me. To look a certain way, to fit a certain image. I didn’t think it would affect you like this.”
You let out a frustrated sigh, shaking your head. “That’s exactly it, Seungmin. You don’t need to look a certain way for anyone but yourself. You’re already perfect the way you are, and I don’t care about your body being a certain size. I care about you, Seungmin. I care about your health, your happiness, and I can’t keep watching you do this to yourself.”
You swallowed hard, the tears in your eyes threatening to spill over. “I want you to be strong for yourself, not for anyone else. I want you to feel good about who you are. I want to be able to cook for you and see you enjoy it. I don’t want to keep feeling like my love isn’t enough when I see you turning down food like it’s something you have to earn.”
Seungmin’s expression softened, and he gently took your hands in his, his voice full of sincerity. “I’m sorry,” he said again, this time with a deeper understanding. “I didn’t know how much this was affecting you. I promise, I’ll think more about it. I’ll try to take care of myself—not just for others, but for us. I don’t want to make you feel like you’re not enough. You’re more than enough for me.”
But even as he said the words, you couldn’t shake the lingering ache. You didn’t know if he would truly change or if this was just another promise that would fade away with time. But for now, all you wanted was for him to truly understand—understand that you cared about him far more than any image, far more than any number on a scale. And that was something you hoped he would eventually see for himself.
The night was long, filled with the weight of the conversation, but eventually, exhaustion had settled in. After all the emotions, the frustration, and the heart-to-heart, you had both fallen into a quiet sleep. Seungmin’s arms were around you, holding you close, as if he couldn’t bear to let you go after everything you had just shared. It was a small comfort, but it was something.
The morning light filtered through the curtains, softly waking you from your slumber. You blinked a few times, feeling the warmth of Seungmin’s body beside you. The space between you was still close, but this time, it felt different—calmer, like maybe there was some hope after all.
Suddenly, you felt his breath against your ear as he shifted beside you, his voice groggy but still carrying the familiar lilt. “Hey,” he said, nudging you lightly. “I’m hungry.”
You groaned softly, rubbing your eyes. The first thought that hit you was how surreal it felt—just last night, you had been at the edge of your patience, but now, here you were, waking up with him, and he was hungry. For food, not for anything else.
“Already?” you mumbled, your voice still thick with sleep. You could hear the playful hint in his tone, despite the serious conversation from the night before. He was always so full of energy, even in the mornings.
“Yeah,” he replied with a soft chuckle. “I’ve been thinking about it all night... but mostly about your cooking,” he added, sounding a little sheepish, though the playful glint in his eyes was unmistakable. “You’re going to make me something, right?”
You turned to face him, your mind still swimming with the emotions of the previous evening. There was a quiet moment as you stared at him, his eyes soft with affection, but also something else—something that told you he had truly heard you. He wasn’t just asking for food now; it felt like he was asking for your trust, your patience, and your love again.
You sighed, a small smile tugging at your lips despite everything. “You sure you’re hungry after all that talk about diets?” you teased lightly, trying to keep the mood light.
Seungmin chuckled, but then his face became serious. “I’m sorry… I don’t want to disappoint you. I know I’ve been distant with you and food, and I don’t want you to feel like I’m taking you for granted. I just want to eat what you make, no excuses. I’ll take care of myself, I promise.”
Your heart softened as you looked at him, seeing the sincerity in his eyes. For a moment, everything else faded. “Okay,” you whispered, your voice steady. “I’ll make something. But no more excuses, alright?”
He grinned widely, his eyes lighting up. “Deal!” He leaned in, pressing a quick kiss to your forehead before pulling away and sitting up, his energy returning with the promise of food. “I’m so ready for whatever you’ve got.”
You couldn’t help but laugh at how his appetite always managed to bring a sense of normalcy back into things. As you sat up too, you glanced at him, realizing that maybe, just maybe, things were slowly starting to fall into place.
“I’ll make you something good,” you said, already thinking about what you could cook. “You better eat it all.”
Seungmin gave you a playful wink. “I wouldn’t dream of doing anything else.” He lay back on the bed for a moment, his gaze soft as he looked at you, before sitting up again. “And I’ll eat all of it. No more turning things down.”
With that, you both got up, your morning starting anew, and for the first time in a while, you felt a little lighter. Maybe it wasn’t perfect, but it was progress. And that, in itself, was enough.

Thoughts about Ace's dream (parts 245-248) (mostly things I liked)
THEY FINALLY UPLOADED ACE’S DREAM BABYYYYYYYYYY
First of all, to be honest, when I first saw the snap in Tumblr I thought: wait, didn’t the Stitch event end already?🤨 and then I realized it was his dream.
Let’s start!
⚠️ English is not my first language, and there are spoilers⚠️
There might be some spelling mistakes
Tumblr media
Cater filming everything with his phone through the whole ride, I just love how he’s still himself (Honestly, I feel that not a single student of Heartslabyul would feel dizzy because of the traveling, yk, they’re based off Alice in Wonderland, and Alice fell through a hole, I’m sure they would feel dizzy by others things, not something that’s similar to a roller coaster ride) and then he says: ah, but Grimmy was shouting too loudly and the wind is annoying, I need to put music to hide it 😔
I also love the fact that he takes photos of everything even knowing that the photos aren’t in his real phone (I hope they find a way to recover the photos for Cater)
When Sebek asked if Ace is from Sunset Savanna I was like: wait, weren’t they friends? How could he not know? And then I realized i had been looking at too many fanarts of the first year gang *slaps forehead*
Honestly, I’m impressed by how much knowledge this guys have, when Deuce said that Ace lived near the capital of the Kingdom of Roses, Leona started talking about how it was not possible for them to have an ocean near (maybe I’m too dumb to know things like these, maybe not)
Grim getting disappointed that it was a dream, he really wanted to have holidays the 365 days of the year 😂 (my baby son is so cute)
Cater saying that he knew skateboarding and surfing, I don’t know, I just LOVED that fact, even more, I’ve a headcanon of the TWST actor AU I wrote some time ago that says that both Leona and Cater use their brooms like surfboards while filming because they go surfing together during summer.
I love that we got to know more about Cater
Idia’s comment right after Cater explained why he liked those hobbies, he’s like a narrator inside the book, but instead of talking to the public, he talks to himself
AND RIGHT AFTER THAT HIS OWN BROTHER SNITCHES ON HIM, HAHAHA, I just couldn’t stop myself from laughing when he said Idia also made himself a small boat (the video I saw was in Spanish and it said “barca”, which means boat in English, I’m not sure if the game referred it as a literal boat tho)
And Idia’s wish? Riding a shopping cart through a home goods store? I also wish for that, Idia, a lot of people wish doing that, you’re not alone, my man.
When Idia got scared because Cater reminded him of the time when he kidnapped Riddle and others with a smile, he just started stuttering, so cute (his actions weren’t cute tho)
ACE MAKES HIS APPEARANCE, YES BABYYYYYYYY (I love him so much 😭)
Idk why, but I just love when the characters shout at people, like calling them from afar, and Ace nailed it
It seems like the Lilo and Stitch event doesn’t happen in the original timeline, because everyone was so surprised (even Yuu has the option to make a comment about his shirt or his sunglasses)
Honestly, I never, EVER, thought about the fruit that was on Ace’s shoulder until Grim pointed it out, I swear to you all that I started laughing once I imagined someone having to walk with those and couldn’t stop until I remembered I still had to watch the episode (and now I got another headcanon for the actor AU 😈)
AND NOW RIDDLE APPEARSSSSSS
I loved when he went like: “don’t overdo it, got it, Ace?” And then everyone was like: “YOU ARE ALREADY OVERDOING IT!” I think they thought Ace’s imagination was too powerful
When Cater pointed out that Riddle was showing his bellybutton, it reminded me of that meme of: SHOW US YOUR ANKLE, SHOW US YOUR ANKLE (we’re talking about Riddle here, I wouldn’t be surprised if he got flustered about naked skin)
I realized that Riddle is kind of naive, because he says: “Ace told me this was a formal attire for an island” and he just did as he was told, my poor boy, one day, you’re getting pranked
And then he slowly approaches Cater and whispers (which made him look sooooo cute) him if he looks weird (NO MY BABY, YOU DON’T, 10 OUT OF 10, YOU’RE SLAYING MY QUEEN), HE LOOKED LIKE A BABY ASKING HIS OLDER BROTHER FOR ADVICES
Considering both Silver and Sebek are in the same club as Riddle (in one of Ruggie’s cards, Sebek even got punished by him while doing club activities) their surprise is understandable
One thing I didn’t really like is that we didn’t get to see fake!Trey or fake!Cater wearing new outfits 🥹
I know they all wear makeup, but for someone reason my eyes couldn’t stop looking at their eyes, they are all so fucking gorgeous, ugh
Honestly, does someone here knows if Cater is rich or not? Because they also mention that Cater was the one who rented the private island (I know it’s a dream, but who knows) maybe it’s because of his father’s job?
And Cater immediately getting into his role, he knows what he’s doing, he’s so smart, I love him.
When Ace suggests getting changed because he doesn’t like seeing the school uniform Leona said (I’m not quoting from the game): “we’re BUSY” I felt it was more like: “I want to get over this bullshit and take a nap”
THE WAY ACE WAS SMILING WHEN HE ANNOUNCED THE REASON OF THE CELEBRATION, that is the same smile he has when something good happens to him, but knowing what’s going to happen next, I just couldn’t help it🥲
I also realized how much I like when a lot of characters shout at the same time, it’s nice to hear
The part where Ace denied when Trey said how they would get sad talking about Yuu leaving, I know you’re just a tsundere, accept it, Trappola I’m still not prepared for that part
In the video Idia says: “I could be hit by a extroverted lighting” I’m just loving everyhting Idia says
I got sad when Ortho said there was no point in attacking him, I wanted to see Ace getting bullied (don’t hate on me, it’s just karma doing its job)
I would’ve loved if Jack and Epel were there too
Ace was talking like a salesman: “we got pink shirt here, and then a yellow one, and then a blue one” I just can’t with him 😂
We can’t see what is really happening between the characters (like, two characters could be hugging but we aren’t able to see it because this is not an anime, yet) but I believe Grim took Ace by his hair, pulled it and shouted in his ear to make him clear they were in a dream, YOU’RE DOING GREAT BABY, SHOW HIM WHO THE REAL BOSS IS
Aaaaand, we made it until here, no matter how many times I say it, I’m not prepared to reach that part

Oneshot - A date with Rafayel.
Tumblr media
Info : 900+ word count, possible grammar errors (this was written at 11pm.), reader and Rafayel are in a relationship, very cute fluff, mention of worries/insecurity about self worth, small mention of alcohol.
Tumblr media
“Rafayel, are we getting close now?” You asked as your lover guided you to an unknown place, one of his hands gently placed over your eyes to keep you from peeking as his other hand made sure to guide you along the path, so you wouldn’t get hurt.
“Almost, be patient, cutie.” He responded simply and after a few more moments, he stopped and moved around you, you could just hear his footsteps, the wind and… the sea?
“Okay, you can open your eyes.” Rafayel gave you the go ahead and as you opened your eyes, your breath almost got stolen. You were on the beach, the one by his house, but it looked different now. The moonlight was shining down onto the table that was set up, with two chairs and a few dishes arranged alongside candlelights. The dock was dressed in cute lights and rose petals, it looked like a scene from a dream.
“Oh, Rafayel, this is wonderful.. you did this all for me?” You asked, almost not believing what you saw.
“‘Course I did, who else would it be for? Now come on, take a seat, it won’t bite you.” He nodded, he was happy that you liked his surprise, that’s all he wanted to see after all, you being happy. He pulled out the seat for you and then pulled it in as you sat down.
The dishes all looked so good and they were fresh too, you knew from the steam coming from them and the amazing smell. It was a few seafood dishes, as well as some pasta and some of your favorite comfort dishes and drinks. He really seemed to think all of it through.
As Rafayel made a plate for you and himself, you couldn’t help but admire the wonderful sights. The moon was shining brightly, the waters were calm and they reflected all the lights and the moon perfectly, making for a romantic atmosphere. Rafayel himself looked quite striking too, even more than usual. He wore a suit, which was typically reserved for more special occasions but his tie was colourful and playful, like his personality.
The both of you soon started eating and the food was as good as it looked, it was a perfect meal for a night like this, it warmed you up a little and put you in a good mood.
“Mmh, this is delicious! Did you make it yourself?”
“I did, I made all the seafood dishes!... Some of the food here is our favourite takeout though, I hope you don’t mind.”
After your first course, Rafayel stepped aside for a moment so you took the time to walk along the dock. You were left thinking for a while as you reached the end of the dock, did you miss an anniversary? Was it your birthday? Did something important happen on this day? Because the surprise was wonderful though it left you wondering what was the reason for it.
You didn’t have much time to ponder about it as soon you heard soft classical music playing and Rafayel stood alongside you.
“Enjoying the scenery?” He asked as he gently wrapped his arms around your form and brought you closer to him, a faint blush present on his face alongside his signature smile.
“Yeah, it’s really wonderful, you outdid yourself! Can I ask, what’s the occasion though?” You smiled and leaned your forehead against his in an act of affection.
“Does there have to be a reason? I just thought that we both worked really hard lately and I missed spending time with you, so I decided to treat you a little.” He answered with a smile, his eyes, full of love and adoration, were focused on you. It was touching really, how he organized a date for no reason because he wanted to get closer to you and make you feel happy, but that was just Rafayel for you, your playful, loveable, boyfriend.
“Really? You didn’t have to, I would be happy even if we just sat down on the couch in your studio, you know that, right?” You felt a little surprised but also so charmed by that simple action. It was cute how he thought of doing this for you but you also were a little worried, he worked so hard on this, but did you really deserve it?
“I know, but I wanted to spoil you, you deserve it, my love.” He gently took one of your hands that was previously by your side and intertwined your fingers, before placing the hand on his heart. You could feel how fast it was beating, all for you.
“If I can make you feel better by spending a little money and time on preparing this, then why wouldn’t I do it? There is nothing I love more than having you next to me, there doesn’t need to be a reason for this.” The soft feeling of his hand on yours, his fingers gently brushing against your knuckles and that gentle smile seemed to make your worries almost disappear.
Rafayel then gently leaned for a kiss, but stopped a millimeter away from your lips. He looked at you with half lidded eyes for a moment, and you could notice the gentle freckles on his face, before he finally put his lips on yours when he saw your expression, and it was as if time stopped.
The rest of the night was full of laughs, good food and wine and after this date, there were many more to come, because in Rafayels mind - there didn’t need to be a reason to make his most precious person in the entire world happy.

part1 part3
Tumblr media
“Are you mad at me?”
Rindou pulled his eyes away from Ran with young girl’s question and turned to her. When he saw Y/n’s sad expression, he sighed and smiled while patting her head. This was one of the rare times Rindou showed his affection. He wasn’t a guy like his older brother, he just showed his affection with his actions.
“No, I’m not. But I hope you realize how much you scared us, Y/n. You can’t even imagine how scared Ran was when we saw you with that Toman captain.”
Y/n nodded her head. Without taking her gaze off the floor, she spoke quietly
“I’m sorry. I didn’t mean to worry you. I… I just wanted to help Mitsuya-san.”
Rindou winced at hearing his enemy’s name again. He knew the Toman captains. Even if Mitsuya was the best among them, seeing one of them next to his little sister made his stomach turn.
“Y/n… don’t forget how dangerous he is. He’s a gang member.”
Rindou knew that he and his older brother were more dangerous, but he knew that they shouldn't trust any gang members. That's why he wanted his sister to stay away from all of them. For years, he and his older brother had kept y/n away from everything. Of course, y/n knew that her older brothers were two delinquents, but she had no idea that they ruled Roppongi.
The young girl could understand why they were so protective. Their parents were never home. That's why Ran had raised both of them. And both Ran and Rindou were overprotective brothers for y/n.
Y/n looked at her older brother and the lilac-haired boy who were a little far away without saying anything. They were waiting with Rindou by the motorcycles. And she was very curious about what the two of them were talking about.
Ran and Mitsuya were still nervous. After Ran threatened Mitsuya, Mitsuya smiled calmly and shook his head.
"She doesn't know, does she? She doesn't know how dangerous you and Rindou are, what you do, nothing." Ran twirled his braid with his finger and looked at the lilac-haired boy with a stern look.
“And she will never know, Mitsuya. That’s the only way to keep her safe. You will stay away from her forever. Or else-“
“Or else you will kill me,” Mitsuya finished Ran’s sentence. “I respect you, Ran. I have always respected you. You may not be a good person, but you are definitely a good brother.”
When Ran looked at Mitsuya in surprise, Mitsuya smiled.
“But you are wrong. Neither I nor Toman would ever touch a girl.”
Ran did not say anything. He continued to look at him with the same gaze.
“And… this life you are hiding from her will not keep her safe. She has the right to know the truth-“
Ran grabbed Mitsuya’s collar harshly, thinking that he was threatening him.
“You will stay away from her, or I will hunt down not only you, but every single Toman member. Did you hear me?!”
Mitsuya placed his hands on Ran’s wrists with a calm look.
“You know you put her in danger-“
Before Mitsuya could finish his words, something neither of them expected happened. Y/n hugged Ran tightly from behind and spoke in fear
“Onii-chan! Please! Let go of him!”
Ran was frozen in shock. Mitsuya was also looking at Ran in surprise.
“Y/n…”
The young girl tightened her hug at the sound of her brother’s voice. Even though she was afraid of Ran’s reaction, she wanted to save the boy who saved her.
“Onii-chan, please let’s go home.”
Ran quietly removed his hands from Mitsuya’s collar. Rindou was also silently watching his brother and sister. He knew that Ran felt betrayed, but that wasn’t the point. More than anything, Ran was afraid of losing Y/n. That’s why he didn’t say anything.
“Y/n, Rindou. We’re going home.”
Y/n flinched at her brother’s harsh voice. She silently followed both of her brothers.
Mitsuya watched them walk away for a while. He could see how upset Y/n was. He didn't expect the young girl who saved his life to be his enemy’s sister either. But it wasn't hard to understand that Y/n was unaware of everything. So he didn't know how to feel.
He sighed deeply and brushed the dust off himself. He squinted his eyes at the brightness he saw on the ground at that moment. He bent down and picked up the necklace he saw. It was a thin gold necklace. He frowned at the name written on it. This necklace belonged to Y/n.
***
Y/n thought there was dead silence when she got home. Ran went to his room without saying anything. Rindou knew very well why Ran was acting like this. He knew that his brother wasn't angry with Y/n, but offended. It hurt Ran that she stopped him for someone she even didn't know. But he still knew that it wouldn't be like this for long.
Y/n said goodnight to his younger brother and went to her room. She took off her clothes and got ready to take a shower. She untied the kerchief in her hand and looked at the dried blood. It hurt a little, but it didn't hurt as much as his brother's gaze. Then she looked at the kerchief again. She should wash it and give it back to him. But she didn't know how to do it when her brother was definitely asking her to stay away from him...

A/N: AHHHH! First one of this series! Let's gooo. Please read the PA x Jamie Tartt series first, so you'll get it! I hope you love it, hardcore fluff!
TW: cursing, suggestive scenes
Yup, they finally did it. Jamie Tartt and Y/N, his trusty assistant have been together for over a year now. They’ve been through the awkward stages—the miscommunications, the unresolved tension, the late-night talks about feelings they hadn’t yet fully admitted. But they were solid now. The days of pretending they were just an assistant and her prickish football player boss are over. As a couple, they’d found their rhythm and pulse together. How, you ask? Well, that happened a year ago and it's a totally different story. Now they are the happy couple, that everyone predicted they would be. And though they didn’t have it all figured out all the time—Who did?—there was a certainty now. A warmth in knowing that they were on this wild ride together. No matter what.
Currently, they have one problem, though. Jamie and Y/N were tired. Tired of commuting between Jamie's huge bachelor mansion and Y/N's small flat. So, today, they were taking a massive step. After weeks of debating where to live, they were finally choosing a place to call their own.
And it all started like this: Y/N stood in the middle of Jamie’s house, looking around with a mixture of disbelief and a lack of affection. She could see the effort Jamie had put into this space, making it the perfect bachelor pad—though she wouldn’t call his million-dollar mansion "homey," it was very much his—but there was something about it that felt cold, empty even. A place that might look good in a magazine but never felt lived in.
"Honey, I love you, but your place is a fucking nightmare," she said, her voice a little softer than usual. It wasn’t criticism—just an honest statement. She loved him more than anything, but the house… not so much.
Jamie, dramatically clutching his chest like she’d just insulted the very foundation of his existence, gasped. “Babe, you take that back. My place is well nice!” His grin was infectious, but it didn’t quite convince her.
Y/N raised an eyebrow, an exhale slipping from her lips as she glanced around. "Jamie, it looks like a footballer’s bachelor pad exploded and no one cleaned it up."
Jamie scoffed. "It’s modern. S’called style."
Y/N crossed her arms, her lips forming a playful but pointed frown. “It’s sterile, and way too big for one person. How do you even live here?” She gave the room another glance. “It’s like a showroom for nothing.”
“Modern,” Jamie repeated, more to himself than to her, before shrugging with a little smile. “And, it’s... practical.”
Y/N chuckled, her shoulders softening. “Yeah, for someone who’s single and ready to mingle.”
That made Jamie smirk...the perverted kind. "Nah, I'm taken...still ready to mingle, though...If you're up for it." He said with wiggling brows.
"Nope, not until we fix this commuting situation or this Playboy mansion..."
Jamie grinned. "S’pose I should get someone to move in, then."
Her lips curled into a knowing smirk. “Well yes maybe. D'you have someone in mind, yet?”
They both paused the air between them thick with the unspoken. Moving in or not? She knew he wasn’t wrong; they’d spent months now navigating their relationship—learning each other’s quirks, arguing and laughing, and eventually learning how to move forward from it all. They've known each other long before that, even lived together for like a week (scratch that, that was a nightmare). But this? This was a bigger step.
Y/N sighed, pinching the bridge of her nose. "Jamie, we’ve been dating for a year," she continued, her voice a little quieter now, but firm. “We spend almost every night together, but neither of us wants to live in the other’s place. What does that tell you?”
Jamie blinked. "That you should stop bein’ stubborn and move in with me?"
Y/N groaned. "Jamie!"
"What?!"
Y/N chuckled, rolling her eyes. "It means we should get a place together. Something that actually feels like ours. Not just a place that’s convenient. Not just your empty bachelor pad."
Jamie’s grin faltered slightly, just for a second, as if he was still trying to figure out how to reconcile her vision with his own. And then, slowly, a warmth spread across his face. She wants to go all in, he thought. It wasn’t just the cheeky grin she knew so well of him; it was something more vulnerable, something real.
“Yeah,” he murmured softly, his voice taking on a quieter, more sincere tone, his heart full. “Yeah, we should. I would love that, baby.”
Y/N’s heart fluttered, surprised at how deeply those words resonated. This wasn’t about the perfect space, the perfect decor, or the perfect house—it was about the two of them finally deciding to make a space for themselves. Something that belonged to both of them, something that could hold their life and their future together.
The house-hunting process was… a disaster at first.
Jamie hated anything that didn’t have state-of-the-art amenities.
“Babe, the shower pressure is shite,” Jamie had groaned when they toured a particularly swanky house, clearly unimpressed with the plumbing.
Y/N wanted a place that felt warm, lived in, and a home that would make them feel grounded. Jamie? He had other priorities.
Y/N hadn’t even blinked while looking through another very steril, very fancy home. “Jamie, this house has zero personality.”
Jamie had flashed her a sheepish grin, clearly not understanding what she meant. “It’s got everything, baby.”
She shook her head, exasperated. “It’s a showroom, not a home. Where’s the character?”
They had almost given up.
And then, as if by fate, they stumbled across a house just outside the city. A little larger than what Y/N had imagined, but perfect in every other way. The second they walked in, there was an overwhelming feeling of comfort. The high ceilings, the natural light that poured in through every window, the spacious kitchen that was begging to be used—it felt like the kind of place where their lives could unfold, messy but beautiful.
They stood in the living room, not speaking for a few seconds, just taking in the space.
It was perfect.
Big, but not ridiculous. Warm, and welcoming. It even has a freakin' garden.
“Sooo,” Y/N finally said, voice soft and a little teary-eyed. “This one, yeah?”
Jamie wrapped an arm around her waist, pulling her closer as he looked around, letting out a long breath. Finally, their home. “Yeah. I think so. That's the one.”
And for the first time, Y/N realized they weren't just talking about the house. They were talking about the future they were building together.
Jamie’s voice broke the silence, low and teasing as his fingers traced patterns over her waist. “Loads of space,” he murmured, looking around at the open floor plan. “For all your books. For all our shoes. For me trophies.”
Y/N laughed, but it wasn’t just the usual teasing. There was something more in her heart, something deeper. She was happy. She shot him a knowing glance. “You mean your one trophy?”
Jamie gasped in mock disbelief, hand dramatically placed over his chest. “Babe. Unbelievable.”
Y/N grinned. "Anything else?"
Jamie grinned devilishly, eyes glinting. “Loads of space for babies.”
Y/N paused. Her heart skipped, but she kept her voice steady, not letting her emotions fully spill out just yet. “Jamie…”
“Oi, I’m just sayin’,” he teased, stepping closer, his hand brushing her side. “Reckon we could have a whole little team, yeah? Tartt FC.”
Y/N smiled softly, the weight of his words settling over her like a promise. "Let’s move in first before you start planning a whole squad, alright?"
Jamie smiled back, but there was something so warm in his eyes that Y/N couldn’t help but feel everything fall into place.
“Deal.”
The first night in their new house was chaos.
Jamie had insisted on carrying Y/N over the threshold in some grand romantic gesture, but it was more of a comedy show than a scene from a fairytale. He’d almost dropped her because he misjudged the step, and they both ended up laughing, tangled up in each other in the doorway.
“Babe, you’re movin’ too much!” Jamie said, panicked, as they teetered dangerously on the edge of disaster.
“Jamie, put me down before we both die!” Y/N gasped, laughing through the ridiculousness of it all.
But eventually, they made it inside, safe and sound, only to find that the unpacking wasn’t much less chaotic. Jamie was distracted by his attempt to get the TV working, while Y/N took on the bulk of the unpacking.
“Jamie, love of my life, what are you doing there?” Y/N called over to him, already knowing the answer, but indulging him anyway.
“Setting up Sky Sports,” Jamie muttered, eyes glued to the TV. “Priorities, babe.”
Y/N couldn’t help herself. “Your priorities should be helping me unpack so we can actually sleep in a bed tonight.”
Jamie shrugged, looking at her from over his shoulder. “We could just sleep on the couch. Wouldn’t be the first time we did it on a couch.”
Y/N arched a brow. “Jamie Tartt, if you think we’re spending our first night in our new house on the couch, you’ve lost your mind.”
Jamie grinned mischievously. “Wouldn’t be the worst idea. S’not like we’d be sleeping much anyway.”
Y/N rolled her eyes, but there was affection behind the sarcasm. “You’re insufferable.”
“Yeah, yeah,” Jamie teased, stepping toward her and wrapping his arms around her waist, pulling her close. “You love it. Babe, we gotta break in the new bed, yeah?”
Y/N sighed dramatically, but her voice was laced with nothing but affection. “Unbelievable.”
Jamie laughed softly, leaning in to kiss the top of her head, a gentle smile resting on his lips.
By the time they finally got everything done, bed built, things unpacked, it was late as hell.
They collapsed into bed—their bed, in their house—and just lay there, soaking it all in.
Jamie turned his head, watching Y/N’s beautiful face in the dim light.
"We did it, baby," he murmured.
Y/N smiled, reaching over to lace her fingers with his. "Yeah. We did."
Jamie squeezed her hand. "We’re gonna have a good life here, I promise. I love you so much."
"I love you more, honey." Y/N hummed, then turned her head. "You still thinking about your very own Tartt FC, huh?"
Jamie smirked. "'Course I am."
Y/N rolled onto her side, propping herself up on her elbow. "You really want a bunch of little Baby Tartts running around?"
Jamie smirked. "Babe, who wouldn’t want that?"
Y/N snorted. "The world isn’t ready."
Jamie laughed, tugging her down so she was flush against his chest. "Reckon we should start practicin’ then, yeah?"
Y/N laughed, swatting his arm. "Go to sleep, Jamie."
Jamie kissed the top of her head, grinning against her hair.
"Yeah, alright. But tomorrow," he murmured, "we’ll start scouting for the team."
Yes, Y/N knew exactly what he meant by that...

Part 8 of 13?
[ Part VII ]
Series Masterlist
A/N: This is a bit more foundation work. I also didn't name Letha's brother (or any of her family) so you can picture whoever you want. I almost took all this out, I wasn't sure it fit everything I've written up to now, but I hope it works for you.
Raptio is literally "taking," but it's used to reference the abduction of women, to be used/enslaved or married against their will. The obvious implication there is SA, but I am not including that aspect here because it's just not needed. Being kidnapped is enough, surely. I don't know if it was really a punishable crime, but I sure hope so. It is in this version of events, anyway. The next two parts will pretty much be all Geta. Thanks for your patience!
Letha had beaten both Emperors to breakfast that morning, despite spending extra time in choosing a dress from the assortment delivered to her rooms the prior day. The anticipation of seeing Geta again drew her out of bed early. She took advantage of the quiet to actually eat a reasonable meal, only interrupted as she pushed the small plate away.
“My brother dismissed all his concubines this morning. You wouldn’t happen to know anything about that, would you?” Caracalla wasn’t really asking. He already knew she had something to do with it. Still, the news shocked her. She thought of Lyra, regretting her words. She hoped nothing awful had happened.
“I didn’t ask him to–”
“Of course you didn’t. You can’t tell us to do anything,” he sighed, pulling out his usual chair and plopping down in it. “Just thought you’d like to know.”
Letha took it for the kindness it was. “Thank you, Caracalla.”
He reached out and picked through the fruit, mischief lighting his eyes up. “So does this mean you two are fucking?”
She nearly choked. “N-No,” she responded, recovering, face on fire.
Caracalla giggled. She avoided looking over at him, instead choosing to study the elaborate craftsmanship of the table. It was a nice table, she thought, desperately trying to not think about Geta.
The chair beside Letha was pulled out and the man himself sank into it, a sly smile already on his face as he busied himself with adjusting his robes. He was all made up, ready for the day. Bright, shining, like Apollo.
He leaned over, invading Letha’s space. “Did you get enough to eat?” he asked quietly.
“Yes,” she assured him. She was nervous to meet his eyes again after the way she left him. She was relieved he didn’t seem upset with her, quite the opposite.
Protective?
“How is your shoulder?”
“Better,” she answered.
She noticed Caracalla watching his brother intently. She followed his gaze, surprised to see the dark maroon already lining his eyes. She expected to see the tired, fresh-from-bed version of Geta. This was… It was nice.
“You sure look pretty for the senators, brother,” Caracalla teased.
Geta looked down to Letha, his gaze soft for once. “It’s not for them.” The smile returned. Her face probably felt hot to the touch. She almost pressed her own hand to her face to check.
“Why do I even have to go?” Caracalla whined, slumping in his chair. “Can’t you tend to them by yourself?”
Geta looked over at his brother, his smile growing. “It’s our duty.” He picked up an apple and took a bite, his pleasant mood almost infectious.
“I’ve never seen you so eager to fulfill our duty,” Caracalla grumbled.
“You must get ready, ‘Calla,” Geta requested, his tone gentle. “It shouldn’t be a long meeting. Then you can have your games.” Another bite of the apple.
Geta was always so sweet to his brother. Letha couldn’t come up with a better word for it. Taking the sting out of responsibilities, soothing his panic and fear, distracting him with life’s pleasures to ease his mood. He tolerated his teasing, even when his patience had run out for all others. Caracalla was exempt from Geta’s poor moods. He only ever received a tiny fraction of Geta’s ire when his mouth got away from him and he seemed on the verge of revealing something in other company that Geta wished to remain private.
And Caracalla intuitively understood his brother’s shifting moods and their cause, not usually having to ask him what was wrong, what might be bothering him. Perhaps all that time seated beside his brother he became a good study.
“At least Letha will keep me company,” Caracalla smiled.
“The senators might balk at her presence,” Geta admitted.
“Since when do you care?”
“I don’t,” Geta claimed, glancing down at Letha. “She can come if she wants to.”
“Is she not here for my protection?” Caracalla asked, seemingly concerned.
“I’ve arranged for Tegula’s best man to remain at your side, at all times,” Geta explained, gesturing to a lightly armored man standing in the corner of the room, tucked in among the columns as if he was trying to be inconspicuous. “This is Ancus.”
Caracalla looked over at the man. Then back to his brother, to Letha. To Geta again. “But I don’t want Ancus, I want Letha,” Caracalla complained, something in his tone veering towards true agitation.
“She’s still healing, ‘Calla,” Geta explained. “She will be near, but I would feel better if Ancus stayed with you too, at least until we figure out who’s responsible for these attacks.”
“You just want her for yourself!” Caracalla accused, standing from his chair. Geta mirrored his movement, albeit much more slowly.
“Caracalla, I—” he paused, adopting a more gentle tone before continuing, “I will not keep her from you. She can do as she pleases. I just need to know that you are safe.”
His words seemed to soothe him enough, but Letha worried that this would not be the last of this conversation. Caracalla skulked off, and Ancus followed after him silently.
Geta sank back into his chair with a sigh, his mood no longer nearly as pleasant.
“I will spend time with him today,” Letha offered, broaching the silence.
He leaned his head back, his head turning in her direction lazily, a smirk appearing. “Not too much, I hope.”
“As much as is necessary to preserve his good temper,” she answered, the pressure of his warm eyes on her jump-starting that heat again, as if she were back in the gardens again, frozen beneath his stare.
“Oh, but then I’d never see you, Letha,” he teased, moving closer, “and I have more to offer you.”
“More?” She couldn’t help her eyes falling to his lips.
She jumped in her seat as his fingers found the skin along the inside of her leg, just past her knee, too close for where they were, in the middle of the dining hall. She quickly pressed her hands to his, trapping it against her skin. He squeezed.
He leaned over further, his lips finding her ear. “Just something for you to consider today, when you’re… deciding how to allocate your time.” His teasing was back in full force. He drew back, taking another bite of the apple, his stare unwavering as he chewed.
Letha could only watch him right back, thoughts boiling until her legs stopped shaking and she could stand.
Tumblr media
Letha understood Caracalla’s complaints about having to meet with the Senators almost immediately. She could feel their eyes on her as soon as she stepped into the room, following behind the twins as they made their way over to their thrones, side by side.
“A chair,” Geta summoned, pointing to the space beside his seat.
“By me, brother,” Caracalla insisted.
Geta frowned, but relented.
Letha was sure to reach down and brush the hand gripping the arm of his seat with her fingers as she passed around the chairs, a consolation to try to keep him jovial. She took a seat as instructed, body turned in towards Caracalla in the presence of so many strangers, with clear distaste in their expressions for her unconventional presence.
“Caesars, forgive me, but what is this woman doing here? This is hardly the place for a dalliance—”
Geta rose, the speed of it startling some, Letha included. “She is a lady, and you will address her as such,” he corrected, standing before the bravest of the Senators. A display of power, of confidence. Of ego. “That lady is the reason your Emperors still stand and breathe. I believe you owe her an apology.”
He was incensed. Part of Letha almost felt bad for the Senator cowering before Geta, all his fury and splendor making him appear very much like a god. It shouldn’t have been so thrilling to see, but Letha couldn’t help herself.
“I am sorry, my lady,” he spoke, his eyes on Geta. His fear was palpable.
Caracalla giggled beside her. “It’s not usually this entertaining.”
A few more moments of lording over the senator and Geta stepped back, slightly more composed. “What do you need of us today?” Geta finally asked, sinking back into his seat.
An older senator stood, stepping into the middle of the room, drawing Geta’s gaze. “There was a question of increasing your personal guard’s wages, Caesars?”
“Yes,” another stood, “We do have questions as to the… necessity of this. It is a steep price.”
Geta frowned. “Is our safety not worth the extra expense? We’ve had two attacks in as many days.”
“Well, perhaps if you did not hold such lavish dinner parties every night, the costs could go towards this increase you desire.”
“Senator Gracchus,” Geta smiled, standing. “I will remind you that we have not yet found the person responsible for bribing the Praetorian. Someone wishes us dead.”
Letha froze up in her seat. Yes, someone did. But they were looking in the wrong place.
“The sum recovered was far too large for an average citizen to come up with,” Geta explained, circling the senator. All others had backed off, allowing all of Geta’s displeasure to focus in on Gracchus. “Should I have you interrogated? Or will you pay Tegula’s men what they are owed?”
A moment longer was all it took before Gracchus wavered, relenting. “They shall have it, Emperor.” A chorus of similar responses sounded throughout the room.
“Very good,” Geta praised, moving past the senator and reclaiming his seat. “What else?”
The doors at the back of the room opened and a tall, hulking figure clad in dark armor and a red cape strode in, bowing before the emperors before rising to his full height. The garish line across the side of his head still looked like it burned, the flesh vividly red around the line. The cut ear.
Letha recognized him immediately. She shrank in her seat, drawing Caracalla’s eye. A flash of her brother’s bruised and bloody face had her squeezing her eyes shut. It wasn’t enough, the image wouldn’t leave.
“Emperor Geta, Emperor Caracalla,” the general greeted. “I have come to report on my men.” He did not spare a glance to Letha. Either he mistook her for another of their concubines, or did not spend enough time in the Senate chambers to know how unusual her presence was.
“General Plautianus,” Geta greeted. His eyes raked over the violent wound. “What of them?”
“Regrettably, they cannot seem to be contained,” Thraex interjected, eyes on the General as he got to his feet. “They drink the city dry and commit acts of violence upon its citizens. A brawl in a brothel just yesterday required a hefty discretionary payment to appease the owner so he didn’t ban the entire army.”
“They need to be sent away,” Gracchus agreed. “They are bored, and their victories have given them a feeling of entitlement to the city’s offerings.”
Oh, that sounds quite familiar, Letha frowned. So as long as it isn’t taking place in Rome, that’s what matters, she thought bitterly, sinking back into her memories and tuning out the rest of the conversation.
Tumblr media
“Your God-Emperors are cowards,” Letha’s brother spoke, his lip split, his brow leaking blood. His eye socket looked broken, his skin beginning to darken around his eye.
“You should hold your tongue,” General Plautianus spat, stepping past the man crumpled against the wall. Another soldier knelt beside him, gripping the cloth covering his shoulders tightly, keeping him upright.
“You Romans can’t take a joke,” he laughed. It devolved into a coughing fit not long after, his hands going to his ribs as he grimaced.
Letha looked up, worry filling her as she waited for her brother to recover, desperately trying to figure out how to help him, how to get them out of this mess.
“You should stop talking before you choke on your blood,” another soldier threatened.
“You’d have to hit me a bit harder for that,” he grunted, clearly nursing a broken rib.
“Brother, please!” Letha pleaded, begging for him to be silent. Him egging on their captors would ruin their chances of surviving this night.
The sound of the harsh slap cut through the room, almost echoing. For a moment Letha couldn’t feel her face at all. Then it all flooded in at once, tears welling, clouding her vision.
She could hear her brother shouting, the soldiers joining in. She tried to ignore the way her cheek stung, too concerned for her brother’s welfare to care about her own. It was one blow versus the great many he’d suffered at their hands already.
They were holding him down against the wall, it took two of them now. The General stood before her, his hand still outstretched from the slap, though his eyes were cast over his shoulder at her brother as he spouted insulting, angry words.
“You are lucky you’re considered one of Rome’s subjects now,” the General spoke, returning his attention to Letha. “Your dear father pleaded for your safety, and I can think of none better to secure it than me.”
Letha understood his intent, the implication of his words. It was nothing new. It was all men ever did. She couldn’t be dragged to Rome. She refused. As her brother drew his attention once more, his protests much more spirited, she saw only one opportunity to save herself from that future.
She reached forward and drew the sword from its hilt on his belt, the sound of it drawing all attention to her. It was heavier than she was used to, the blade much wider. Still, she didn’t waste a moment, swinging it recklessly at the General’s head. It drew blood, but the recoil of it hitting his thick skull forced it out of her hands. He roared, his hands moving to cover the red line leaking blood down the side of his head.
Letha felt the stabbing point of a gladius at her back, the soldier’s boot forcing her flat onto the floor. She wondered if it had drawn blood, it felt quite sharp even through the dress. Even if she had just signed her own death warrant, that would be preferable to the alternative.
Plautianus hissed as he cupped his ear, reaching down for his discarded sword. He used it to tilt her face up, forcing her to see the wound she’d created. “You’ll pay for that,” he assured her.
“Please, just leave her alone,” her brother pleaded. “It was stupid, she shouldn’t have done it, but don’t hurt her.”
His words stung. He was right, it was incredibly stupid of her, but she had to do something–
“No, no–”
The blade had left her chin without her realizing it. It was embedded in her brother’s throat. She screamed.
Tumblr media
“Letha,” Caracalla whispered, a hand pressing against her cheek, drawing her back to the present. “Are you alright?” She jumped, crashing out of the vivid memory. He moved his hand down to squeeze hers. “Do you want something to drink?”
She shook her head, eyes landing on Plautianus. He wore the very same armor as that day.
He is the monster.
“I will think on it,” Geta answered, dismissing the senators. “General, I would like to speak with you, if you have the time.” He wasn’t really asking.
Plautianus nodded, clasping his hands together in front of him, watching the senators as they trickled out of the room. As his eyes scanned the room, they finally landed on her. There was a flicker of recognition in his eyes and he reflexively reached up for the side of his head, to the scar there. He said nothing of it, instead returning his attention to his smiling Emperor.
“Letha,” Geta called out, reaching an arm out for her to join him. Her stomach sank like a stone. “Come on,” he urged, as if he were coaxing a small child into a room full of strangers. As if it were shyness keeping her in her seat. But he didn’t know. How could he know?
She stood on shaky legs and released Caracalla’s hand to walk over, trying to keep her eyes on Geta so she didn’t fall into a state of panic. Even though months had passed, it was now so fresh in her mind, as if it had happened only days ago. She felt ill.
Geta was concerned, but he hid it well. He wrapped an arm around her waist and returned his attention to the General.
“I’d like to introduce you to Letha,” Geta spoke, looking down at Letha with something close to love in his eyes. Perhaps she was imagining it to save herself from the reality of what was unfolding.
“I don’t believe you two have met, unless… Well, have you?” Geta prodded, all pretense falling away.
Letha felt herself suck in a deep breath at the realization. Geta knew. How much, she couldn’t say. But he knew of their meeting, likely how she was brought to Rome. How she was purchased by Macrinus. From Macrinus himself, she thought. It would explain their new closeness. What else had Macrinus shared?
General Plautianus seemed just as caught off guard. He looked like he wasn’t sure if he ought to lie, or admit to his crime.
“I’ll take that as a yes,” Geta frowned. “Ancus,” he muttered, signaling for him to approach.
Ancus moved swiftly behind the General, pressing his boot into the back of Plautianus’s knee to force him onto the marble, his hands gripping the pauldrons to keep the General still.
“Raptio,” Geta spat, “is a crime, General. Just in case you’ve forgotten.”
The sound of a sword being drawn sent shivers of revulsion down Letha’s spine. The tremors that Geta had stilled with his hand at her lower back resumed. The General looked truly frightened. It didn’t fill Letha with any amount of satisfaction. She was just as scared as he was.
Geta raised the General’s sword high so he could inspect the edge, trying to determine its sharpness. He pressed the blade to the spot just above the chestplate, letting the tip bite through the cloth covering the base of his throat before turning to Letha, ignoring the General altogether.
“Should he be killed?”
Letha could see now the warnings she’d been given. Geta was deadly. He was clever and vengeful and violent. But he hid it well. So well. Much better than Caracalla. Seeing the senators scared to defy him, the way his General seemed scared of his whims, she should’ve been scared of him too.
But it was never directed at her. And even now, it was being done in service of her desires, her wants. She felt… honored. He was offering her a gift. A declaration of love if looked at in the right light.
She felt her own love for him beginning to bud, but her memories were too distracting in the moment, keeping her expression empty, her body trembling. If they were somewhere else, she might have taken the time to explain, so he’d understand she wasn’t spurning him intentionally, she just couldn’t get a handle on her own mind.
“Emperor!” Plautianus lifted his hands up from his waist, his plea desperate. “T-This is improper.”
Geta glowered down at him, his eyes narrowed.
“She attacked us,” he tried to explain. Ancus kept his knees pressed to the floor.
“Quiet!” Geta ordered, glaring at the General. He returned his eyes to Letha’s, his gaze softening immediately.
In that moment all Letha could do was stand there and try to keep her tears at bay.
Was this the same sword used on her brother?
Geta was patient, reading into the way she shook slightly, a bead of sweat falling down over her temple. She was terrified. Perhaps now wasn’t the best time. He could drag him out again later on, when she felt more up to it.
“It seems Justicia has saved you today, Plautianus. Find solace in your cell.”
The sword was silently returned to Ancus and as soon as it left Geta’s hand he brought her back in close, whisking her away from the scene and over to the golden thrones.
“Brother?” Caracalla asked, clearly confused.
“I will explain later,” Geta spoke, his eyes focused on Letha. His hands found her cheeks, attempting to soothe her. “I should not have sprung that upon you,” he realized.
“I-I do not think–I think I should lie down,” she confessed, a tear spilling down her cheek. She could see the heartbreak plain in Geta’s eyes. “I’m sorry, I don’t think I can attend the games today, I don’t feel well.”
“It’s fine,” Geta assured her, smoothing her hair out of her face. “I should have warned you.”
She couldn’t say anything more, couldn’t offer some placating remark to soothe his mood. She needed calm and quiet, and she wouldn’t get that from the arena. She hoped he understood that.
