Caulifla could simply not disguise the blush, the gentle caress and softness of the fur was a deadly combo, but attempted it regardless with a long drink. though what Serori mentioned got her thinking about home, not just about the kids but the future of her gang. she didn't want to do it forever, leading them. she'd been part of it so long at this point, seen so many leave and she stayed put.

" hah, yeah - but they're easy ta win over - just give 'em a cool toy or somethin' tasty. " she laughed and copied the manner her master disposed of her drinks can. " sooo, this place ain't gonna work once we're done with it? heh, wanna trash this place on our last day? I bet that'll be fun as hell. "

"Something like that, yeah," she murmured, taking a seat down next to Caulifla and pulling the tab of her drink with an audible click, and a hissing of the beverage inside. "I've been trying to make the calendar everyday, so we don't lose track, although I guess it doesn't really matter." She gave a small shrug. "There's only enough power for what we're using, so it'll throw us out when our time's up, anyway." Serori had made sure to clear that up, so there was no chance of the two of them ending up trapped inside.

"It's a shame that we probably won't be able to use it again," she added after taking a long sip of her drink. "I dunno that my engineer has any way to power it back up once it's finished, I think this was more a 'proof-of-concept' anyway." If she and Caulifla were going to use something similar another time, it would probably have to be after Nixxo had created another compressed space for her, and she figured he had his own goals to attent to first. He'd only agreed to let Serori test out the prototype so that he could monitor it externally, and see if there were any flaws or imperfections that needed touching up.

Not that Serori could think of any - everything had worked out well enough from where she was sitting. It really was some kind of engineering marvel, and she was lucky to have the opportunity to use it at all. Even if she wasn't making as much progress as she'd like, three hundred days of training wasn't something to be underestimated. As well, while her own raw power wasn't something that she'd figured out how to pump, a lot of Caulifla's comparative struggles with technique and control could definitely be refined, especially with Serori watching over her and giving critique.

Once her drink was finished, Serori tossed the can up in the air, vaporizing it with a single small bullet of ki. "Although, maybe it's alright that it's just this once." Her tail flicked against Caulifla's cheek. "Makes it more special, right? And besides, even if it's only three days outside, I couldn't keep you away from Sadala and those kids for much longer than one trip - they'd never forgive me." At Caulifla's suggestion that she hadn't really gone all out, Serori merely shrugged. She'd see about that.

     though she looked as if she had a tough battle, a wide smile was present across her face - fresh from a fun sparring match with the best training buddy she’s had in a long time. who knew that would have been an energetic young lady. 

     “ hey i’m back! ” she called out to Ninazu, “ that kids got wicked potential lemme tell ya. i can’t wait for her ta go super -- then we’ll have a real match on our hands. oh uhh, can i get a quick heal, babe? ”

     “ if ya here for a fight, now ain’t a good time. “ Cauli exhaled as she ignited the incense sticks. she was knelt before a stone monument, a handful of miles out from her gangs hideout - far off into the badlands. 

     “ this is my Aneki’s grave, i dunno if she existed in ya timeline but ... ‘s been ‘bout ten years since she was killed. payin’ my respects. ”

"Well, it's really only supposed ta be used just for trainin', but I guess Dende could fit it with some entertainment stuff for rest days. Movie discs and video games would prolly be the only digital options since I don't think you'd be able to get actual TV signal from a pocket dimension."

       lips dared to pull into a soft smile when Ninazu approached, she couldn’t help the surge of positive feelings the girls face brought out in her. Caulifla’s time on earth had slowly changed from fighting other saiyans to just spending time with the healer. part of her was convinced that these trips to earth were just to be with Ninazu.

      “ a date? ” she pretended to mull over the question as if there was any other answer in her mind, “ hell yeah i’ll go on a date with ya. as if i were gonna say no. ”

     “ hey, master. ” she was oddly subdued, still sounded her usual self but with a focus. eyes didn’t meet with Serori ‘til she was stood next to her. “ was startin’ ta think ya weren’t gonna show. ” it was rare for Cauli to be quite so composed, usually going with what her gut told her to do rather than think it through, but she wanted to remain focused.

     “ views pretty nice from up here ain’t it? lookin’ out at all that green on this planet ‘s wild. i mean shit, ya seen what Sadala’s like - ain’t nothin’ but rocks an’ giant cities. ” she glanced up at her master out the corner of her eye and smirked at her, “ look, i ain’t gonna tip-toe ‘round it - all that talkin’ in circles shit ‘s dumb. i uh, ... okay so the things is i ... there’s been somethin’ i been tryna tell ya but ... i ain’t s’good at the talkin’ ‘bout feelin’s stuff. and if ya ain’t feelin’ the same - ain’t gonna hold it against ya or nothin’... so ....  ”

      eyes closed as she bathed in the warm light emitted from Nina’s hand, she always felt a tingle when getting healed like this. more accustomed to the medi gel used on her planet than the style Nina could do. she enjoyed it a lot more, felt personal - intimate. a feeling she didn’t have a lot of experience with, not outside her inner circle at least. 

      she hadn’t even noticed the other had finished healing a while ago and was just gently stroking her cheek, truthfully it felt nice - too nice to complain about. a little smile spread across her face, kneading into Nina’s palm without even realising.

        she welcomed the affection, there were only a select few who she would keep her guard down around. Serori was one hundred percent in that group, someone Caulifla trusted with her life ( and loved deeply ). “ ya so warm, master. ”
