I've had this thought bouncing around my skull half-formed so it's such a relief to see someone put it into words

My second hottest take is that DnD is the worst thing to ever happen to the OC-making community. Now every demon is a Tiefling and every power needs to be neatly categorized into classes and every drawing gets a "where is this from?"

We have a thousand players with "Characters that I made but I dont have where to play them!" because they forgor you can create a funky lil dude without further motives
