What VOCALOID/utaite song fits the sds characters?

This is basically me combining my two biggest interests haha, but yeah I've really thought about this.

Meliodas: Aun no Beats. So from what I've read and what I think the meaning of the lyrics is. It's a person who mourns the death of their lover, and not being able to be together anymore (we all know why this checks out) the line that stuck out to me was "we were going to be together forever" anyway I really like this song and I think it fits him.

Elizabeth: Yume to Hazakura. This is a really beautiful song and its very melancholy. It talks about distant memories and unforgettable words, tbh I think it just fits her vibe. For Meliodas I had like a reason I don't think I have for this one. But it fits her and it's a beautiful song.

Diane: Lonely Universe. It was HARD finding a song fitting her man. But I think this is cute and it's her feelings toward King. It's in my opinion about a person who loses someone (King making Diane forget about him) and waits for them to come back, like they are always looking for something. It also feels like the person waiting is quite alone which Diane was after she left the giants, she didn't have anyone since the humans found her scary.

Ban: Vita. I gotta give my man a depressing song bro. So I can't really find the "meaning" of the song so I'll just make my own conclusions. It says "I'm living as best as I can" and "dying as best as I can" and I feel like that resonates with Bans character, you can't tell me that man doesn't want to die when he deliberately went to prison to get tortured. It also says "it's getting worse and worse" which I feel like Ban felt when he said that everyone he likes ends up leaving him.

King: Lemon. Ya'll I cannot not give King the yaoi angst okay. So the song is about grieving for a loved one, someone who's already passed (Helbram hehe) it has lines which are very beautiful like "Even the pain from that day, I still loved it all with you" and "more than I knew I was in love with you" (if you can't tell I really like King x Helbram) overall the melody of the song fits him too and overall I really frickin love this song.

Gowther: Hitomodoki. This is a mafumafu song (one of my fav artists btw) and Hitomodoki means kinda like Pseudo-human which in of itself fits my boy here. As soon as I listened to this song I thought how much it fit Gowther and I could go on a super long rant, but instead I'm just gonna drop some lyrics on you cause you'll see what I mean. "Is this hole I had mistakenly opened within my heart" and "In this human form, without becoming a human" and "oh, my heart — I once wished that you would have stopped" like you get what I'm putting down??

Merlin: Rollin' Girl. I had so many songs for her, like bitter Choco decoration, bad apple, lost ones weeping etc. But I decided to go with the old classic depression song. Again from what I read and how I interpret it, it's about a girl who's very lonely and needs help but never accepts it from other people. Even though she's in pain she want to keep "rolling" each day at a time (continue to live) she always wants to be perfect/succeed. Lyrics: "it doesn't matter how It turns out, that's just a downward hill towards more mistakes" anyway I feel like this song really fits her. Also this song may or may not have been my most played song last year and Merlin may or may not be my favorite character hehe...

Escanor: The reason I wanted to die (Boku wa shinou to omottetanowa. So as you can see this is a depressing song once again (all these mfs be traumatized) and its a really beautiful song that really shows how Escanor feels in my opinion. It sings about reasons to want to die and it's about grief and despair but also hope. The lyrics "The reason I wanted to die is because I hadn't met you yet" and "I fell in love with this world a little more where people like you were born" feels a bit like his feelings toward Merlin which is cute.

This is honestly mostly for myself but if you enjoy reading all this thats great!!

It turns out, I've been putting this song on hold since December. I usually have a hard time getting myself going when it comes to doing almost everything. Starting is probably the hardest step. I didn't know that the two guys in the music video were idols for a while because I thought that they didn't look as good as the people in the main cast (Confession Committee). I'm not used to all of those asymmetrical haircuts I guess. They kind of remind me of what would happen if a barber with a blindfold came in with a lawnmower that he used with his left foot to cut a person's hair. Besides that, I'm still shocked by the news that the Noragami manga is coming back in June. I can't wait! It's been just over a year, but the fans took it as if it has been decades! I'm also a lot busier now because real life has been very hectic and gruelling. My family and siblings are moving back in with us, and there have been several changes to my life in such a short period of time. It has shaken things up, and I'm still recuperating from that and will be for a while.

happy birthday mafu~

Two days ago, it’s his birthday! I finished this long ago but sigh haven’t got time to upload this. Also, I’m waiting for my two year anniversary of “mafu-ing” ~! It’s today! **

sometimes on YouTube I scroll down from the song to the comments section, there are extremely long comments about how the artist or the song changed their lives or helped them go through a very difficult time in their lives. and there were a lot of times when I thought it’d be better if I disappeared. but there always were people with more serious problems bothering them, and I really have no right to complain.

that is why everytime I need to rant or literally murder, as soon as I can listen to his songs, 9 out of 10 times I would be fine. mafumafu is really the reason I seldom rant, even to myself, besides just being lazy (is that a trait I got because of the mafu influence?!) and his very mafu sounding chords really work better than any psychologists or counsellors. best thing about this, instead of spending a lot on counselling sections, I spend money on mafu albums and that is what we should call money well spent. he is truly the most fascinating person, not to mention talented like if you kill him and cut him open you would see liquefied talent instead of dried blood in his veins. it’s that kind of talent.

an example would be his voice really fits almost any song. his voice is called “覚声類” which basically means it’s energetic and gives people energy. which is quite accurate but could be more accurate so maybe I’ll describe it now. imagine sitting in a world of fluffy fluff and feel the fluff rubs you on the face and envelopes you and follows you when you want to leave but the fluff literally “fluffs” you so you can’t leave. this just got creepy but I don’t mean it. examples of this kind of voice would be his cover of RAIN (from 世界の終) or orion (from March comes like a lion). and then there’s this voice that is just like a thousand cats dancing on their short short legs and licking their paws. this is very energetic and cheerful a voice, examples would be Sugar Song And Bitter Step or I want to be a super nuko. and then comes the heart breaking voice, the desperate kind he uses to sing and scream in dark songs like berserk. but because of his soft child like fluffy voice, it just brings more pain to the songs. and lastly, there is this voice he uses to sing many songs such as 鏡花��月 or 夢花火. the kind of voice heavy with memories and the weight of human relations. however, I really don’t know how to put his thousand voices into words. these voices don’t even begin to describe his VOICE. one cannot learn the nature of his voice simply from words. you need to listen to all his songs. but his voice really just covers you and protects you and tells you it’s okay, don’t panic, it’s okay, even when he screams it seems as if he is releasing your inner stress. that is the most magical thing about mafu.

not to mention his legendary lyrics writing skills, woah, I wouldnt believe that the same guy who wrote すぺるぬこになりた “dried sardines dried sardines dried sardines ey ey” is the same guy who wrote 夢のまた夢. he could complete a thousand books of poetry if he tries… Some of his lyrics are dark and deep and everything, but relate to them and they connect on a different level.

like the typo his friend made “mafu mafu man”, he would be a good superhero if he would save the world before taking an afternoon nap. however he doesn’t have to. he could totally just make music and I’m sure there are tons of people waiting to be rescued by the mafumafu man’s music. and of course I would be making claims if I say we know a lot about him… We really do not. in fact, what he actually looks like is a very hazy fact. even his personalities could be made up. the guy singing on stage with soraru sakata luz amatsuki could have been made up, for all we know. (woah this is a dangerous zone to step in to.) and it is a fact that we always want to learn more about him, about how his emotions work, etc. (It is of course desirable if he doesn’t age or grow old and eventually, like he said, “return his body to the sky”.) but I am willing to believe this is true… no reason. he is a beautiful person who stood up to his dark past and proved those mean people who threw waste water on him wrong. Whenever I think about what he has gone through that made him so much more thoughtful and mature and made him come up with dark lyrics anytime– it’s that feeling of both admiration and pain. When I have my own petty problems, I’d just thought, ahh, mafu has gone through worse, but he could stand up and become the fluff he is today. I know there are a lot of similar stories, but mafu’s tweets, voice, blog, and what he said during live concerts really get into my heart.

how he is serious about his music also inspires me. as the “old saying” goes, “if you can’t be as serious about your interest as mafu is serious about his music, you probably don’t need it.” he is not like, extremely famous, by now none of the people around have actually heard of him before I brainwashed them with his name. but he is already quite successful in his career and he gets to shut himself in and do nothing but music and has friends who love to do the same thing and they can goof around all day doing music and talk audio talk guitar talk chord transition talk and make bad puns, and despite at times depressing thoughts it’s all good. I will continue supporting him as one of the many tiny specks in the mafu fandom - we’re called “天使” (angels) because he’s quite narcisstic (笑) the only thing I feel bad about this is that I really can’t contribute anything directly to the fandom, like the translators did by helping translate the ひきこもらない (go outside?) radios and the lyrics… (T ^ T)

but I’m glad I checked out mafu’s youtube exactly two years ago. Thank you for existing and making good music, and seriously just existing. thank you very much. (also, thank you for reading this long long long caption.)
