While we’re at it, what if there was a support group for reverse harem protagonists that are just so done with the ridiculous harem antics? Who would be in the group? How would they interact? Who would be group mom and bring cookies to the meetings? Who would be group aunt bringing booze?

Let me consult my anime records. *whips out invisible glasses and runs down the list like a snobby professor*

Fyi, I'm gonna stretch a bit with the members of this list, but that's part of the fun lol (I'm adding a bunch of magical girls, because, let's face it, magical girl anime are basically Diet Harems lmao)

- Alice Liddell, from Country of Hearts franchise, obviously, is the head of this organization. She calls it the "Putting Up with Men's Romantic Advances for Far Too Long Support Group" -- nicknamed PUMA. She's President, Treasury, and director of group activities. She technically only holds that many roles cuz she didn't expect the group to grow this big, holy shit---

- Haruhi Fujioka, from Ouran High School Host Club, is Vice-President and Secretary. She's in charge of hunting down girls who need help and sends invitations to their safe-space club. She doesn't contribute much in discussion, just quietly takes notes, but she's sometimes seen dragging herself (literally) to club meetings, with a wailing blonde man clinging to her waist and sobbing about something something "Daddy doesn't approve of this for his precious daughter!" ..... Thankfully, the other girls are courteous enough never to pry too much.

- Usagi Tsukino, from the Sailor Moon franchise, isn't actually an official member, she just loves the free food, and the other girls love her because DAMN she has a sympathetic ear and is a fantastic shoulder to vent/cry on. Besides, when she casually brought up the amount of people who kissed her even while she's in a committed relationship with her literal soulmate, including a villain who did it while she was under mind control, the other girls hiss sympathetically and offer her more cookies. She's the unofficial member who's also kinda official.

- Ichigo Momomiya, from Tokyo Mew Mew, bonds the most with Usagi because OMG, villains who kiss without consent?! It's unbearable! They talk a lot about their magical girl powers, which confuses the other girls, but she has the habit of meowing sweetly and they all find it adorable.

- Nanami Momozono, from Kamisama Kiss, is confused why she's been invited here because her heart belongs to one sexy fox youkai, and what do you MEAN her snake familiar is in love with her, they're just friends! And okay, sure Jiro was the first man, er, tengu to profess his love to her, but that doesn't count! And no, Akura-Oh does NOT fancy her, ew, gross, where is Tomoe already?! Eventually, she accepts her place and chats it up with Alice, Miaka, and Usagi about the crazy adventures she's experienced.

- Miaka Yuki, from Fushigi Yuugi, rants about the various men in her life, with only Alice sympathizing by the AMOUNT of men who surround her daily. Usagi is captivated by her every word because OMG the scandalizing details, the younger girls are half-embarrassed, half-intrigued, while Haruhi rolls her eyes as she records it all, being heard to mutter something about "shojo manga" and "debauchery." Miaka eats most of the snacks, so it eventually becomes a potluck for everyone to bring snacks, store bought or handmade.

- Tsukimi Kurashita, from Princess Jellyfish, starts off the first several meetings trembling in the corner, wondering what she's done to deserve this, she's not a "Stylish" like these other girls are, and oh god, she just wants to be in an aquarium right now oh god oh god --- she often sketches rapid-fire drawings when she seems particularly stressed. Sometimes the other girls swears that she turns temporarily into stone...

- Kae Serinuma, from Kiss Him Not Me!, is 10000% sympathetic to poor Tsukimi, and offers her chocolates every day before she starts to relax. They bond over scary, attractive men being WAY too attentive to them. She also shows the girls her yaoi collection (much to Usagi's intrigue and Haruhi's horror).

- Amu Hinamori, from Shugo Chara!, arrived to the shock of the other girls. Her young age and experiences with a flirtatious catboy makes Alice see red, and Haruhi's pen break in her hand. Meanwhile, Usagi eats popcorn and begs for more information, spill the tea, girl, please?! Alice ends up bringing Amu under her wing, and they bond in their mutual issues with catboys, and deadpan/tsundere attitudes. Ichigo also grows fond of her, much to Amu's embarrassment (there's jokes that she can't escape felines, no matter their gender)

- Yuki Kuran, from Vampire Knight, shows up drunk one time, sobs about how she was engaged for a year to a man who was her brother, but later revealed to be her great-infinity grandfather, and she carried his child to term after his kinda-sorta sacrificial death, and now she's in a on/off relationship with her childhood friend, who's life was destroyed by said not-brother-fiance, and yet she still loves aforementioned man, but also loves her friend, and???? She doesn't know what to do????? She leaves after one meeting, leaving the rest of the girls in a disarray of tears, anger, confusion, and wondering if she's okay????

- Kyoko Mogami, from Skip Beat!, is the last member to arrive, and they feel her presence before she even opens the door. Usagi and Ichigo cling to each other, gripping each others' magical items, Alice wonders if this one has a gun and tries to remember what Boris taught her, Haruhi is frantically going through her paperwork wondering what the hell went wrong with this one, and the others just stare in silent horror as a flood of dark demons burst through the door, flooding the room with wicked giggles and murmurs of revenge and the evils of men. Kyoko walks in, surrounded in a cloud of this insanity, and offers the terrified girls a slow, wicked grin, and says slowly, "So.... men are the. absolute. worst. Would you like to know about it?" And before the other girls could either say "sure, please let it out, just stop scaring us!" or "for the love of all that is holy, LEAVE THE PREMISES!", suddenly, Kyoko lets out an uncharacteristically girlish squeal and shrieks, "Oh my goodness, those are so CUTE!!!!" and pounces on the baffled Usagi and Ichigo, gushing over their magical items. The aura demons have evaporated, things are explained (every single girl is disgusted by the actions of her ex: imagine, using an innocent girl that way!!! Alice is more grateful than ever for coming up with PUMA), and soon Kyoko becomes an ardent and loyal member of the club. She often comes in with new and improved desserts, as an extended apology for her rather disastrous first impression.
