Two, oh my god more reasons to feel complex towards F!Draxum, like if he kept on failing he may keep going on making more eggs until he reach a good results! Like this make me think; is this really worth it?? Is those trial and errors are worth it? Why making the baby?? Like each new information bring me back to the main question "Why making the baby in freaking apocalypse and a losing one at that?" (That if they were knowing they're losing).

I wasn't surprised when Lou after born or hatched was fragile because she didn't had nutritions to build her body, and probably won't be able to survive longer until the right ingredients or nutrients were given.

And a new surprised came to me! Leo LAID EGGS?!?!? That surprised me!!👀 this's like my very first read fic by you that pointed out something like this!! After saving baby Lou from the near to death, seeing him trying to feed her and act like a baby was so so CUTE!!! Am sad he isn't around to talk with F!Leo.

This gave me a thought as "would he reject lou because he already have CJ?" If this's right then that mean lou's existence depends on F!Leo acknowledging her as his child (something F!Leo was denying in the first few chapters lol).

This thought made me think of an answer as to why she was born "was Draxum realized Leo's obsession in its early days? And he made Baby Lou in case they were all dead including CJ? So F!Leo can have more reason to fight for in the war? Or even continue living?".

I love how you have similar questions F!Leo has! Perfect! I love that it’s getting to you too! And yes, F!Draxum is so complex with his decisions! There are so many questions rising from his actions that don’t seem so linear. And unfortunately, from his monologue you can tell he knew the end was coming. He phrased it as “one-sided war” showing he doesn’t have faith that theyll win, which shows another reason why he created Baby Lou. He’s showing that with her creation he can hopefully form more hope to cling onto, other than giving F!Leo something else to fight for.

Yeah, having a baby in the middle of an alien apocalypse wasn’t the brightest decision anyone could have made. *looks at CJ and Baby Lou*

But on that note, yes! He laid eggs! It was mentioned in the previous chapter too hahaha! Although, this wasn’t stated anywhere, but F!Leonardo didn’t lay eggs once or twice every year like the typical freshwater turtles do. He laid eggs once every two or so years, but it wasn’t linear as it staggered a bit because of the apocalypse. And yippee! This is my first fic utilizing this headcanon! My other peepaws I didn’t really want to focus on that and left it for interpretation… but this one I HAD to point it out hehe

Oh! Baby Lou having memories she “doesn’t” have! That was already solved by F!Leo! She was awake through all the memories we witnessed! She was just too weak to do anything or show much movement. So no, F!Draxum didn’t make any big-brained plans as if he foresaw F!Leo coming into her memories. Baby Lou is an observant little baby, which she gets from her father ;D she couldn’t do much but watch the small world around her

F!Draxum being grandpa to his granddaughter makes my heart warm :) he’s so sweet to her, and it really is a shame that F!Leo wasn’t there to witness it in person—in real life that is hehe

Fun part about this is that it’s showing he’s hesitating… he knows what he’s doing isn’t “good”. But he has good intentions. “Do I or do I not?” is a big question for him. He’s trying to convince himself that what he’s doing is for a greater purpose, much like when he first created the turtles from Splinter’s DNA hehe

Yeah! Exactly! The reason for her existence isn’t pure, she wasn’t created because F!Draxum simply wanted grandchildren and the turtles weren’t pulling their weight (/j). She was made with a purpose. She was made as a “replacement” as F!Leo put it hehe

hoo boy... new leaks huh

the new relic sets are BONKERS. i dont want to say theyre bad but 3/4 are niche sets meant for very specific units. only the break set is non-niche but is still only usable for break dps.

cavalry set: break effect set. 4pc gives def ignore bonus ONLY to break damage based on the wearer's break effect. pretty high be stat requirement but should be attainable with be supports and decently rolled subs

valorus set: 2pc set gives 12% atk, while 4pc set gives dmg bonus which stacks twice after the wear uses their ultimate or fua. the effect is removed at the end of the wearer's turn, so incentivizes out-of-turn fua and ults.

duran planar: gain an effect that gives 4% dmg any time an ally uses an fua and stacks up to 6 times for a total 24% dmg boost to fua. when the max stacks is reached the wearer's crit dmg increases by 24%. specifically buffs fua teams.

forge planar: spd increase by 6% and increases be when hitting fire weak enemies. the first planar set to increase spd. extremely niche for fire break comps.

cavalry set is for any break effect dps. as of now that would be xueyi, The Boot and newly revealed firefly, altho more will definitely join.

the valorus set seems specifically tailored for jade since it looks like she will be performing lots of fua and wont be as turn dependent as other units since her damage comes moreso from another teammate attacking rather than her own turns. she will also work extremely well with any dps with aoe capabilities since they can max out her charges very quickly.

the duran planar also seems like a jade set since it gives dmg% to fua and bonus crit dmg.

the forge planar is VERY OBVIOUSLY a firefly set and obnoxiously so, but at least it could be used in cheese fire-break teams? it could definitely benefit break asta but break asta is kind of a cope ngl. it would actually benefit gallagher too since he would benefit from spd boost as an sp generator AND he gains outgoing healing boost based on his break effect so it would boost both his break dmg and his healing.

as for light cones...

jades is kind of insane because its bonus has a VERY high requirement to max out the buff (+16% dmg for every 20 crit dmg past 120, so 140 crit dmg=16%dmg boost, 160 crit dmg=32%dmg boost) BUT the max bonus is literally a 96%dmg bonus at 200% crit dmg, so if you can reach that (which is definitely doable altho quite difficult) its very nice. it plays very well with the duran planar which can lower the amount you need to 176 crit dmg, and thats also without jades own huge crit dmg buffs. as of now it seems like shes going to be a monster specifically tailored for pure fiction, altho i fear the day that pf has a quantum weak level.

fireflys signature is basically just a stat stick for be and inflicts a debuff to enemies that makes them slower and receive more damage after the wearer deals break damage. this is a REALLY good lc for any break comps, ESPECIALLY with the HMC since they allow any unit to deal break dmg to weakness broken enemies. its probably xueyi's new bis light cone.

the new herta 5* erudition sucks absolute ass. literally only use it for the base stats, but any 5* lc is MUCH better, even himeko's signature. most of the 4* lcs are also better.

last new lc is ANOTHER erudition lc but this one is for break effect dps. it also gives a spd bonus whenever the unit uses their ult. considering this lc features art SPECIFICALLY of sunday and not just an illustration including him, its very likely that this is sunday's "signature" lc similar to how gallagher and misha are featured on lcs that are of their path, altho only gallagher's benefits his kit specifically. this would mean that hoyo is teasing sunday being a 4* erudition unit and its possible that he scales on be judging by the extra effect and possibly has some ult shenanigans altho a spd buff afger using ult isnt particularly sus.

please help!

here is some background information on my problem or more of my situation. my dad, who i absolutely adore, has chronic degenerative disc disease. what this means is that the discs that are in his spinal chord are gradually deteriorating over time (i’m not sure of the rate). he ruptured his first disc in 2010, shortly afger my parents got divorced. he has had 10 surgeries on his back and neck since then and i have nursed him through all of them. to put it into context, i am currently 20 years old and he had his first surgery when i was 10. so we’ve been dealing with this for ten years. he has been in constant pain for ten years. for ten years he has not had a day without pain. literally not one day. he has not had a day where he sleeps through the night. he takes a considerable amount of pills and a lot of people think that he takes too many pills and they assume that he is addicted to pain pills and doesn’t need as many as he does, they don’t understand how much pain he is in. frankly, i don’t understand how much pain he is in and that’s what this post is about really. my dad can’t move his body without feeling pain. his life is literally physical pain, all. the. time. and i cannot even begin imagine what that is like. my dad is constantly suffering. he lost his job in a matter of about a month. everything he liked doing, he cant do anymore. he barely leaves the house, let alone the couch. he cant really drive, he cant walk very well. his life is limited to his home and pretty much his couch and i am wondering how to deal with that. i know that i cant base my life around his and that i should put my goals and aspirations first. but i also feel this need to care for him and make sure that he’s happy too to whatever extent that can be. i’m always worried that he is going to commit suicide because honestly, his life is reduced to almost nothing. my other siblings rarely visit him, basically only at christmas. i visit him at least once a week and even though he’s a hardcore trump supporter, i look past that because i recognize that that does not matter to me as much as him needing someone does because of how much pain, both emotionally and physically, he is in. he lost literally everything. i am just wondering if anyone has had this experience before and if you could give me some tips on how to cope with a loved who has a chronic illness. how can you make their lives a little easier? is there anything i can do? most of all i’m just worried that he’s going to kill himself. i don’t know what i’d do if he wasn’t in my life, he’s literally everything to me and i couldn’t stand to lose him. obviously i know that he will pass someday, but he’s only 49 and that’s just too young. i need him around to see me graduate college and get married and have children. so if you have any advice please let me know.

Holding Out (fiction)

Eric sat at his desk waiting for his lunch break. He had needed to shit for a while now, but knew that the men’s room would be crowded with the guys dropping their afternoon loads. He always took later lunches, around 2:30pm, because that meant there was a smaller chance of needing to go with someone else in the room. He didn’t necessarily mind going around others, but his movements were usually loud, and he didn’t want to be known for blowing up the men’s room. 

It was finally 2:30pm and Eric had been releasing small farts in his chair for quite some time, hoping to relieve the pressure building in this gut. He slowly made his way to the men’s room and was happy to see that it was completely vacant. He took the first stall and began wiping down the seat, when suddenly, the door swung open and his coworker, Dan, strolled in with the newspaper and took the stall directly next to Eric. 

Dan dropped his dress pants to his ankles, while Eric brought his down to his knees. Dan sighed as a steady piss trickled into the bowl. He flipped to the sports section of the paper and cut a small fart. Eric sat there unsure of what to do, It was too late for him to get up and try to come back later, but he also knew his movement would not be gentle. 

The room remained mostly silent, albeit the occasional grunt and plop from Dan’s stall, along with the folding of the newspaper. Afger 10 minutes, Dan appeared to be finsihed and wiped up a few times before leaving the stall. He washed up and began to leave the men’s room when Eric heard him say, “oh hey John, how’s it going?” John was Eric’s boss and had been looking for him for a few minutes. 

John entered the men’s room and walked up the urinal saying, “oh good, you’re in here. The meeting got pushed up from 4pm to 3pm so we need to go over some of the client’s files quickly”, as he started loudly pissing no more than a foot away from Eric. 

“Are you almost done?”, John inquired. 

“I should be done in a few minutes”, Eric quietly announced, now bursting to let go of his bowels. 

“While I wait then, read this”, John said as he handed a document under the stall partition to Eric, “and tell me what we should change for the processing costs”. 

“Right now?”, Eric said bewildered, “I’m sort of in the middle of something”.

“Yes, we only have a few minutes and I need the updated info, so you can finish up while we chat”, John exclaimed. 

With the meeting only 10 minutes away, Eric knew he wouldn’t be able clench his cheeks that long, so he slowly unclenched and a barrage of machine gun farts echoed into the bowl. 

What followed was an unrelenting wet crackle that filled the bowl. Eric sat red faced as he tried to skim the newest proposal. His stomach was killing him and he massaged it as more wet gas exploded out of him. 

John seemed totally unfazed by this and said, “so, for the first job, does the budget need to be adjusted?” 

“No, I think it is fine”, Eric stammered as some liquid gushed into the bowl. 

“Ok great”, John replied “see you in a few minutes” and he headed out of the men’s room.

Eric auickly passed one more round of loose slop before wiping up and rushing to the meeting.  When John talked about the budget, he made sure to mention that Eric “gave it everything he had” looking over the budget with so little time. 

After the meeting, John pulled Eric aside and told him he had done a good job and also said, “next time, just let me know you have the shits and I will wait outside”.
