this whole video is super quotable like i keep pausing to yell in discord bout it but. a fantastic ref for artists of all kinds but i have to pull out these quotes:

you ever see the opening act of a concert that the crowd isn't really into, but they go "hey…y'all excited for the headliner?" the crowd goes like "woo!" are those the cheers you want? status without substance? are you okay with that? do you want to get a million hits on your content because you connived your way into it? or because people loved it so much they wanted to experience it a million times? does it matter to you where your glory comes from? because it should.
