Flexible Submission, Strict Deadlines
Learners enrolled in the program have the flexibility to submit their Synopsis at any time throughout the year. However, it's important to note that the submission of the Project Proposal to the Regional Centre should be done only after registering for MMPP-001. This procedure is designed to ensure that students have a sufficient timeframe, typically around 8-9 months, to complete and submit their project work before the end of the 4th semester. If the project is not submitted within this time, students may be required to re-register for MMPP-01 and pay the associated fee again.
There are some critical deadlines to be aware of:
Project Proposals should ideally be submitted to the Regional Centre within 6 months of registering for MMPP-001. If the submission happens later than this, the Regional Centre cannot guarantee timely processing of the proposals. Consequently, students who delay beyond this period risk missing the timeline for the submission of their final Project Report.
Furthermore, regarding the acceptance of the Project Proposals:
Once the Project Proposal is received at the regional centre, it undergoes a review process. If it is deemed complete in all aspects and includes all necessary documents, it will be accepted. Upon acceptance, a unique Project Proposal number (PP. No.) is assigned to each learner's synopsis. This number is significant as it will be used for any future correspondence with the Regional Centre regarding the project.

Selection of Guide: Contact a person who has experience in that area and is interested in guiding and provide fulfils the specified eligibility criteria. A person can be Management Faculty in the School of Management Studies/Academic Counsellors at study centre (Management Programme) or anyone outside person who have experience in particular area (HR, FINANCE, MARKETING OR OPERATIONAL) with experience of 5+ years and Masters’ degree in Management (Like MBA) or allied disciplines having a minimum of 5 years of experience in the relevant area (for example, if you are taking up a marketing topic then the supervisor should have 5 years’ experience in marketing area, after her/his Masters). However, if you choose to identify your own guide, then the bio-data of proposed guide is to be attached along with synopsis for approval.
Preparation of Synopsis: After selection of the guide and finalising the topic, the Project Proposal (Synopsis) should be prepared in consultation with the guide. The proposal of the proposed project should essentially have the following:
(i) Introduction: a brief background about the subject chosen for study.
(ii) Rationale: why a particular topic has been chosen for the project work.
(iii) Objectives: This is the most important aspect of any project. It should mention clearly and precisely the things which you hope will be able to know/achieve at the end of the study. These may be clearly stated in behavioural terms.
Objectives need to be expressed in a neutral manner, without any implicit assumptions about the findings of the research.

The conspiracy theorists and bears were frustrated at the successes of the previous years and decided it was all crashing down. And all the while the real information contained in press releases and filings from individual entities, profit projections and earnings statements all looked very promising. Yet the
‘journalists”, one bought and paid for whore in particular at the AP, filed gloomy headlines chock full of malevolent doubt. Without becoming paranoid and ineffective ourselves it must be admitted that reportage is a business and that investment banks are intimately and parasitically intertwined with media outlets. Is it so unrealistic to think these massive mountains of false money have a undue effect on the media? And that there may be a larger scheme at work? The truth is we all know it and few make money at it. The inspiration for redacted was an elemental distrust of the major media outlets including most that claim to be unbiased and finance-centric. There are a few worth perusing for basic information and occasionally a spark of light in the editorials but the rest of the data they purport to report is either useless or easily available in a less managed form. I won't detail my unfounded suspicions but I will say that a deep seated distrust of managed facts can be an alarmingly powerful tool in the box of an emotionless, at least at work, craftsmen who knows a lot about the intrinsic value of intangibles.
The market has achieved a relatively stable if not spectacular growth during this slightly abbreviated opening month. Nothing bad and a little good. The reason for that mediocrity is that redacted is but a SIMULATION of a managed investment for profit fund that can outrun the whole world of finance in thirty days. These costs seem particularly exorbitant when dealing with the drug marijuana, as it is widely used, and is likely no more harmful than currently legal drugs such as tobacco and alcohol. There's another cost to the war on drugs, however, which is the revenue lost by governments who cannot collect taxes on illegal drugs. In a recent study for the Fraser Institute, Canada, Economist Stephen T. Easton attempted to calculate how much tax revenue the government of the country could gain by legalizing marijuana. The study estimates that the average price of 0.5 grams (a unit) of marijuana sold for $8.60 on the street, while its cost of production was only $1.70. In a free market, a $6.90 profit for a unit of marijuana would not last for long. Entrepreneurs noticing the great profits to be made in the marijuana market would start their own grow operations, increasing the supply of marijuana on the street, which would cause the street price of the drug to fall to a level much closer to the cost of production. Of course, this doesn't happen because the product is illegal; the prospect of jail time deters many entrepreneurs and the occasional drug bust ensures that the supply stays relatively low. We can consider much of this $6.90 per unit of marijuana profit a risk-premium for participating in the underground economy. Unfortunately, this risk premium is making a lot of criminals, many of whom have ties to organized crime, very wealthy. Stephen T. Easton argues that if marijuana was legalized, we could transfer these excess profits caused by the risk premium from these grow operations to the government: If we substitute a tax on marijuana cigarettes equal to the difference between the local production cost and the street price people currently pay – that is, transfer the revenue from the current producers and marketers (many of whom work with organized crime) to the government, leaving all other marketing and transportation issues aside we would have revenue of (say) $7 per [unit]. If you could collect on every cigarette and ignore the transportation, marketing, and advertising costs, this comes to over $2 billion on Canadian sales and substantially more from an export tax, and you forego the costs of enforcement and deploy your policing assets elsewhere. One interesting thing to note from such a scheme is that the street price of marijuana stays exactly the same, so the quantity demanded should remain the same as the price is unchanged. However, it's quite likely that the demand for marijuana would change from legalization. We saw that there was a risk in selling marijuana, but since drug laws often target both the buyer and the seller, there is also a risk (albeit smaller) to the consumer interested in buying marijuana. Legalization would eliminate this risk, causing the demand to rise. This is a mixed bag from a public policy standpoint: Increased marijuana use can have ill effects on the health of the population but the increased sales bring in more revenue for the government. However, if legalized, governments can control how much marijuana is consumed by increasing or decreasing the taxes on the product. There is a limit to this, however, as setting taxes too high will cause marijuana growers to sell on the black market to avoid excessive taxation. When considering legalizing marijuana, there are many economic, health, and social issues we must analyze. One economic study will not be the basis of Canada's public policy decisions, but Easton's research does conclusively show that there are economic benefits in the legalization of marijuana. With governments scrambling to find new sources of revenue to pay for important social objectives such as health care and education expect to see the idea raised in Parliament sooner rather than later. Principles and values of Academic Integrity:

Honesty
An academic community should advance the quest for truth, knowledge, scholarship and understanding by requiring intellectual and personal honesty in learning, teaching and research.
Fairness
An academic community should seek to ensure fairness in institutional standards, practices and procedures as well as fairness in interactions between members of the community
Legality
An academic community should observe valid legal norms related to the conduct and publication of research particularly in relations to copyright, the intellectual property rights of third parties, the code of ethics in academic research terms and conditions regulating access to research resources and the laws of libel.
Plagiarism
Authors who present the words, data, or ideas of others with the implication that they own the same, without attribution in a form appropriate for the medium of presentation, are committing theft of intellectual property and may be guilty of plagiarism and thus of research misconduct
Use and Misuse of Data
If some data should be disregarded for a stated reason, confirmed by an approved statistical test for neglecting outliers, the reason should be stated in the published accounts. A large background of negative results must be reported. Any intentional or reckless disregard for the truth in reporting observations may be considered to be an act of research misconduct
Self-citations
In citing one’s own unpublished work, an author must be careful not to imply an unwarranted status of a manuscript. A paper should not be listed as submitted, in anticipation of expected submission. A paper should not be listed as accepted for publication or in press unless the author has received galley proof or page proof or has received a letter from an editor or publisher stating that publication has been approved, subject perhaps only to copy-editing.

3.4 Extension Activities
3.4.1 Extension activities in the neighborhood community in terms of impact and sensitizing students to social issues and holistic development during the last five years.
Extension activities means learning outside the classroom .It provides a link between the college and the society.
Objectives:
To sensitize students towards community issues, gender disparities, social inequity etc.
To inculcate social values in students about societal development.
HNIMR runs under the legacy of MKSSS. So HNIMR has also positive attitude about its neighborhood and promotes a constant Interaction to sensitize the students towards social needs and women empowerment.HNIMR is well aware of its social belongingness and tries to inculcate these social values in the students as well, which percolates through the activities and also actively involves their Students for their holistic development. In community development cell activities like arrangement of Blood donation camp, health checkup camp, sanskar warg, personality development through katthak for school students were taken. In activity like Panache, street play competitions are taken on different topics which will be helpful in communicating and creating awareness amongst students about AIDS/save girl child, environmental issues. Such activities played best role in sensitizing students towards society problems. Institute mandates the participation of students in campaigns Like ‘‘Swacha Bharat’’, Yoga Day, tree plantation & other activities like flood relief activities, Creating awareness of making ecofriendly idols of Ganesh, rally on e-west and plastic free drive are Involved in this. College has also adopted sangrun village of Khadakwasala district in Pune .To Understand village life socio economic survey was conducted by our students in Sangrun village. Where students train them in making paper bags, learning computer literacy, Yoga, meditation. Hnimr has taken initiative to arrange session of experts on Plastic free Bharat in Sangrun village which gave them inspiration to won first prize from state government, as an adarsh gaon for plastic free village. Books, gifts, old clothes were donated to needy people by our students in donation drive
For Fund raising activity students put their stalls and learn entrepreneurship through ”E bazar’’. Needy students are getting free education through Bhaubhij and Sankalp 365 and sampark like activities. More than 1500 students benefited from this to complete KG to PG education.
College has arranged multiple workshops on the topics like personality development, career guidance, disaster management, Nirbhay kanya, Asthetic Sensitivity and Voice culture modulation in association with university which helps our students to develop their personality and have positive impact on their emotional, intellectual, social and interpersonal development. Students from financially weak background get help through ”Earn and Learn” scheme. Scheme like Special guidance helps students to strengthen their weak subjects like English, account etc.
A conscious effort has been made by College to link the extension activities to complement Students’ academic learning which facilitates students to acquire and develop managerial skills. Activities like Panache and kushagra gave chance to give feast to other colleges for cultural as well as academic excellence. Values like sharing, honesty, respecting others opinion, empathy, time management, team work are inculcated in the students through these activities. These are helpful in building teamwork, leadership, multitasking and creative, independent thinking qualities in students.

Should ?have secured admission to a higher education course in recognized institutions in India or Abroad through Entrance test / Merit based selection process/through Management quota after completion of HSC Purpose To meet expenses related to pursuing studies in India and abroad Loan Amount Study in India – upto Rs.10 lakhs, Study Abroad : upto Rs. 20 lakhs Margin Loan up to Rs. 4 lakhs : Nil Loan above Rs.4 lakhs: Studies in India: 5% Studies Abroad: 15% Security Up to Rs.4.00 Lakh : Co-obligation of Parent/s, No other security. Above Rs.4.00 Lakh & up to Rs.7.50 Lakh : Co obligation of Parent/s together with collateral in the form of suitable third party guarantee with a net worth of at least equal to loan amount. Above Rs.7.50 Lakh : Co- obligation of Parents together with tangible collateral security along with the assignment of future income of the student for payment of instalments. Loan shall be fully secured after maintaining prescribed margin on respective securities offered. In case of married person, co obligant can be either spouse, or the parents or parents -in-law. Rate of Interest Floating rate of interest is linked to the Base Rate & subject to revision from time to time ?Simple interest will be charged during repayment holiday period. Concession in rate of interest at 25 bps below the applicable card rate is extended to SC/ST/Women beneficiaries for fresh loans sanctioned/ disbursed on or after 15.08.2008. Concession in rate of interest at 50 bps (inclusive of 25 bps available for SC/ST/Women) below the applicable card rate for girl students for new loans sanctioned/ disbursed w.e.from : 04.03.2009. Interest concession of 0.50% is extended to Physically Challenged students for loans initially disbursed on or after 20.09.2010 Prepayment Charges NIL Repayment Uniform repayment tenor of 15 years irrespective of loan amount. The repayment tenor is after completion of moratorium/Initial Repayment Holiday Initial Repayment Holiday/Moratorium is Course Period + 1 year Nature of facility In the form of Term loan Eligible Courses For Studies in India Approved courses leading to Graduate/Post Graduate Degree, Diploma and PG Diplomas conducted by recognized Colleges/Universities recognized by UGC/Govt/AICTE/AIBMS/ICMR etc. Courses like ICWA, CA/integrated CA-on virtual /video mode, CFA, etc. Courses conducted by IIMs, IITs, IISc, XLRI, NIFT, NID etc. Regular Degree/Diploma courses like Aeronautical, Pilot training, Shipping etc., approved by Director General of Civil Aviation/ Shipping, if the course is pursued in India. In case of the Aircraft Maintenance Engineering /Pre Sea training courses must be either a Degree course recognized by a competent University or Diploma course recognized by appropriate State Body Teachers training /Nursing/B.Ed courses provided the training institutions are approved either by Central Govt or by State Govt and such courses should lead to Degree or Diploma and not to Certificate course. Approved Courses offered in India by reputed Foreign Universities Research course/Ph. D courses for study in India are not eligible for loan under the scheme. Correspondence courses/Part time /Certificate/Short duration courses / off-campus courses and On-site/Partnership Programme are NOT eligible for loan under the scheme. However, Vocational/Skill development courses are eligible for loan under the CVDVC Scheme. For Studies abroad Graduation: For job oriented Professional/Technical courses offered by reputed Universities. Post-Graduation: MCA, MBA, MS etc. Course conducted by CIMA- London, CPA in USA etc. Degree/Diploma courses like aeronautical, pilot training, shipping etc provided these are recognized by competent regulatory bodies in India/Abroad for the purpose of employment in India/Abroad. PG diploma courses for study abroad is permitted. Diploma courses for study abroad is NOT permitted. Research course/Ph.D courses for study abroad are not eligible. Eligible Expenses Fee payable to College./School/Hostel /Examination/ Library/ Laboratory fee. Travel expenses/Passage money for studies abroad. Caution Deposit, Building Fund/Refundable deposit, though supported by Institution bills/receipts, are not eligible. Purchase of books/Equipment/Instruments/Uniforms, Purchase of computer at reasonable cost, if required for completion of the course, any other expenses required to complete the course like study tours, project work, thesis etc, subject to maximum permissible limit as per the scheme. Other Guidelines Loan should be availed preferably from the Bank/ Branch situated near to the place of domicile of the parents.
