How woulf the Wednesday chacters act if they were jealous?
jealousy with the wednesday characters
-wednesday: she won't outwardly show it and doesn't exactly know what she's feeling because she's never really had a reason to be jealous before. she'll ignore you afterwards, thinking the feeling will go away until you confront her about it. it'll probably take a long discussion to explain why wednesday felt like that but you'll both work it out. (she might also threaten the person that made her jealous. might)
-enid: she doesn't get jealous very easily, in fact, she hardly does. but, there's always a little insecurity in the back of her mind that you're losing interest in her. you can tell when she is jealous though because she'll wear the cutest little frown on her face as she pouts at you. the easiest way to make it up to her is cuddles and kisses.
-xavier: gets jealous so easily, not joking. he won't even wait for you to leave the other person, he'll go up to you and be 10x more affectionate than usual. depending who you're talking to, he might drag you away. after you're both alone again, he'll still be mad about it (not at you obviously) but hugs and reassurance will fix it no problem. but, he holds a grudge against the person for a week after.
-tyler: definitely possessive but like, in a low-key way. he'll get jealous but you won't be able to tell but the person that made him jealous definitely will be. he won't fight anyone physically but a few choice words and a glare usually does the trick. you catch him doing it once but he just smiles, gives you a sweet kiss and says he loves you. you definitely won't see that person for a long time after.
-yoko: i feel that she wouldn't get jealous because she puts every last ounce of trust she has into you. she knows you can handle yourself and that you love her, but if things go south, she has no problem stepping in. in fact, she counts on you going back to her after the interaction to tell her exactly what you and the other person were talking about.
-bianca: she doesn't get jealous right away but it will for sure settle in if the interaction lasts more than a few minutes. she has trust issues due to previous relationships but doesn't directly confront you about it. she would drop subtle hints that she didn't like the interaction you had with whoever it was but you know her well enough to know what she means. to make up for it, you promise to bring her with you if you have to interact with them again for a project or something.
-ajax: notices and gets jealous right away. unfortunately, he has no idea what to do. usually he'll settle for going to stand with you, maybe looping an arm around your shoulders (if you're okay with it) as he buts into the conversation. his jealousy doesn't go away easily but if you lean into him and acknowledge that he's there, he'll be fine. and maybe hold a grudge against that person for a couple days.
-divina: she loves you so much she literally never leaves your side so she always knows what's going on. she's also fairly good with reading how you feel so she doesn't always feel the need to be jealous. but, on that days she does have a harder time, she'll just hold onto you a little tighter until you understand what she's feeling and glare at the other person. usually it's dull enough of a conversation to let her lead you away from the other person and spend time on your own with her.
-kent: honestly, i don't think the poor boy knows what's going on. at first, i think he'd believe you were just having a conversation with a friend he hasn't met yet until he realizes he's met all your friends and never remembered meeting that one. after that realization, he'd be the kind of jealous that's noticeable to everyone but him. as long as you don't seem uncomfortable with the interaction with the other person, he'll leave you alone. however, that doesn't mean he likes it because he absolutely loves when you give him all of your attention. probably pouts for a little while after too.

Can you do where Xavier was supposed to take you to the dance but forgot cause was helping Wednesday. And Wednesday tells him to go get ready for the dance but he realize and runs to the dance where Edin is covered in paint and they all ignore him and he finds you in the forest crying SOOOO IDK HELP 😭😭😭
why of course!
RUNNING LATE
Pairings: Xavier Thorpe x Fem!Reader Summary: ^^^ Sarnings: swearing, crying
Part 2
Tumblr media
you were waiting by the fountain in the quad for Xavier to meet you for the dance.
he had asked you to the Raven the first day it was announced and you both seemed so excited for it for the days leading up to it.
but now that he seemed to be late, you started over thinking that maybe he wasn't so excited as you were after all.
so you stood there, checking your phone every minute or so, just waiting for him to show up, but he was with Wednesday, helping her with one of her plans again.
-
you sighed as you checked your phone, if he was coming he would've been here by now, but he wasn't, it had been 15 minutes and no excuse would make up for being that late.
Enid came out of the room, seeing you there with watery eyes
"c'mon darling, we can have fun without him" she insisted, grabbing your hand and pulling you in the the hall.
you wouldn't say you spent ages to look perfect for him, but you definitely tried to look good for the dance.
"that dress looks amazing by the way!" she smiled widely at you
"thank you, Enid. you look amazing too" you sighed sadly "hey, where's your date?"
"he stepped to take a call from his dad or something" she stated
you hummed and danced with her
"he'll show up sooner or later" Enid said simply.
--
Ajax found the both you dancing after a while
"hey guys" he waved "where are your dates?" he questioned
"mine's taking a phone call" Enid answered
"and where's Xavier?" he turned to you
you pulled out you phone and checked the time.
"he's a bit late" you shrugged. you didn't want to believe he didn't show up, you didn't want to say it out loud because you were already upset about it.
"the dance started 40 minutes ago" he raised an eyebrow
"I know. he'll be here though, he has to be. he promised" you gulped, knowing he won't show up
Ajax and Enid shared a look
-
Wednesday finished explaining her plan that she had on a board, Xavier had been listening to her for about 2 hours on how she could prove who the monster was.
"seriously Wednesday? don't you think that's a bit much?" Xavier leaned against the table with his arms crossed
"I actually think it's not enough" she replied bluntly
"look you can do this but just know I won't be apart of that" Xavier shook his head
"I didn't actually ask you to be apart any of this, you volunteered to do it even though you had a dance to go to" Wednesday said
it took a second for Xavier to process the dull girls words, but when he did his eyes widened and he yelled at himself
"FUCK!" he ran out of the room. picked up the pace as he sprinted to his room, finding the suit he laid out a few hours prior, he hurried to get the clothes on and hurried to the dance.
he panted as he ran in the room, seeing it empty with a red liquid everywhere.
he walked around the back to see Enid and Ajax covered in the red substance
"hey, what happened?" the tall boy questioned the pair as he looked them up and down. Enid rolled her eyes at him and pulled Ajax with her as she walked away from him.
Xavier felt horrible, the dance had ended and you were alone without a date, without him. he imagined your face as you realised he wasn't going to show up and he kicked the dumpster next to him.
"fucking idiot!" he yelled at himself.
he wondered where you would be, so he started looking, going to your dorm room, knocking on the door.
he waited as it opened, he was ready to give a massive apology to the girl but his shoulders slouched as he saw Yoko
"the dance was an hour ago, but it's nice of you to show up, asshole" she smiled sarcastically at Xavier before she slammed the door.
there was no evidence of you being in the room so he kept looking around the school frantically. wanting to see you.
he ran into the forest going in the direction of his shed
Xavier called out your name, screaming for you.
he sighed and ran his hands through his hair
"for fucks sake" he muttered to himself.
he turned around in a circle, looking to see any figure that seemed to be a human, or you.
but he didn't, so he went further
he was going to call out to you again but he heard a noise in the distance.
he walked closer, noticing if was you on a log, crying.
he took a deep breath, he knew he couldn't leave you there, crying and shaking in the cold. the thought of leave you here didn't even cross his mind, he only thought of what he would say
Xavier came up behind you
"hey" he greeted softly, your head whipped around to face him, you wiped your tears away as you stood up
he stepped closer to you but you stepped back
"nice of you to finally show up, asshole" you snapped
"I'm sorry, I got caught up-" he started before you cut him off
"-got caught up doing what? laughing knowing that you stood me up?" you cried
"no- I was with Wednesday" he stuttered
you laughed "oh that is so much better, it makes me feel amazing to know you blew me off to be with another girl!"
"look I'm sorry" he walk walking closer to you slowly
"Sorry isn't going to fucking cut it, Xavier! if you didn't want to go with me you shouldn't have asked me in the first place" you sobbed
"I know, I did want to go with you, I had my suit ready to go-"
"-so you just weren't bothered to go" you smiled with tears streaming down your face
"I wanted to go, I just got too distracted" he looked down nervously, noticing your dress, even if it was covered in red it looked beautiful
"you look beautiful" he admitted
"it looked better fully white" you hissed
"I wish I could have seen it" Xavier spoke quietly
"yeah well you didn't" you glared at him, sniffling
"I'm so sorry, I'll do anything to make it up to you" he pleaded
"just go away, we can talk later, that's if you even bother to show up" you scoffed
"I didn't mean to not show up"
"but you did! do you know how embarrassing it was waiting for you, with all those people with dates walk by. having to dance alone for half of the dance with people coming up to you asking 'hey, Where's Xavier?'" you shouted at him, tears streaming down your face
"well no-" he shook his head
"of course you don't, because it didn't happen to you did it! do you know how many times I said 'oh yeah, Xavier's just running a bit late' tonight?" you didn't let Xavier respond before you spoke again
"a lot of fucking times, Xavier! that wasn't how I planned my night going. not to mention this" you motioned to your body covered in the blood like substance
"please, I can make it up to you" Xavier begged
"I thought you actually liked me" you muttered with a hiccup
"I do! trust me, I really do" he replied
you huffed and rolled your eyes, wiping you noce with the sleeve of your thin cardigan
you wrapped your arms around your body, shivering from the cold.
"please" he stepped closer to you
"you stood me up for another girl- who has been here for barely two weeks, and you have the audacity to tell me you like me, I'll admit it, I'm dumb for thinking you wanted to go with me, but I'm not that dumb to believe that you like me" you scoffed
he noticed your shivering state and started taking off his perfectly white suit jacket
"here, take it" he held it out for you.
you looked down at it
"I don't need it" you said angrily
"you're shaking" he stated
"let me rephrase that-" you paused, licking your lips "-I don't want it"
he looked down at his feet again, taking a deep breath
"I can make it up to you, we could go to Weathervane and-"
"-you think coffee will make it better?" you questioned
"well no" he gulped, scratching the back of his neck
"of course it will! it's a date!" you smiled
"yeah, how about tomorrow?" he asked
you pretending to think for a minute before shaking your head
"sorry I'm hanging out with Ajax tomorrow" you pouted
"the whole day?" he furrowed his eyebrows
"probably not so we could go 3" you suggested
he licked his lips "great"
"yeah, and just so you know I might stay with him longer so I have an excuse for standing you up" your smiled, walking past him while rolling your eyes.
------------------------------------------------
it didn't specify a happy or bad ending, so i went with what my moody ass would've done.

Wenclair Headcanon #2
Wednesday HATES being called short
Like to the degree were if you have been dead for over 1'000 years and you somehow called her short she would find ur grave bring u back to life wait for you to get situated let you get happy even just to kill u again.
If u called Wednesday short u best pray to whatever god you believe in, that Wednesday is down bad that day because it is one of the only things that Enid can't fix just by speaking Greek or saying Wednesday no too (it's some scary shit)
There is only one group that won't get killed for calling her short
Yoko
Divina
Bianca
And Enid
Really only Enid at least that's the only one Wednesday will admit to sparing.

When Wednesday met Divina & Yoko
Wednesday senses the presence of a siren in the back of her mind, a song echoing in the ether but un-sung. Their presence registering to her a moment too late to entirely stop a hand coming down on her shoulder.
Instinct and fond memories of practice send a silver punch dagger from her sleeve into her grasp, the silver is hot on her skin as she makes what should have been a warning jab at the intruders stomach. Instead her blade is caught in a scaled palm and she finally registers the sharp eyed, squared jawed interloper to her space. Eyes swimming with the darkness of the ocean but for a glinting light in the depth like an angler fish.
They hold her dagger for only a moment, just long enough to make it clear they are letting it go at the same time as they released Wednesday's shoulder. The silver sliding across scaled hand and drawing a thick line of blood as they come to a stop, eyes locked in the brickwork hallways.
"And you are," Wednesday says slowly, not entirely willing to seal the dagger away, not after that. She is not fearful, but its one of the boldest responses the otherwise mundane Nevermore had offered her so far.
She can see rows of sharp teeth as the brunette with slicked back hair says.
"Divina. and this is Yoko," She holds her bloodied hand up and a black haired vampire practically bleeds out of the shadows of the hallway. Eyes searing red even behind the black glasses and face drawn, ears long and inhuman, her forked tongue drags along Divina's palm, draining up the blood and sealing the cut.
The pair smile as Yoko's face returns to humanity as she leans on the Siren's shoulder and chuckles, "Our pup asked us to give you a warm welcome, and to show to the fencing hall."
"So Enid set you two upon me," Wednesday concluded, almost impressed as she had been when the girl had bared claw and fang rather than quail away as most did, even as the lack of fear rankled her pride.
"Oh no," The Siren intoned confidently, "She warned us about your hatred of any touch; I just underestimated it. My mistake, so I won't hold that sliver of silver against you."
Yoko's lips seemed to stretch back in a smile too deep, "So long as it doesn't find its way pointed at us again, I think we'll all get along fine."
"Shall we now..." Before Wednesday could conclude her thought, or even make a decision about what to do about the pair a chipper voice called out.
"I can't believe you guys left me to clean up the lab work, I was meant to introduce you to Wednesday!" Despite her annoyance, Enid practically skipped up to them and Wednesday once again wondered how a girl like this could even meet the gaze of an Addams.
"Yup, we made a great first impression," Divina chuckled.
Enid smiled but it was somehow off, as she answered, "Oh, that's why I smell blood on silver then?"
All three glanced at one another, but before anyone could speak Enid groaned.
"I leave you guys alone for a minute and there's an injury," She shakes her head as if despairing before smiling brightly.
"Well, at least no one's dead and the schools still standing so this went OK rather than bad. Fencing?"
The other girls nodded and Wednesday found herself following along as they casually chattered on their way to the dueling hall. One thought circling her head as they went.
'Nevermore isn't just a school, it is a home for creatures like her.
It is a placed filled with monsters.
Excellent.'
NOTES:
I don't strictly mind the premise that most of the other students are so used to conducting themselves in 'normal' situations and the like that they would find Wednesday scary.
But I also think its a bit of a missed opportunity not to lean into the fact that for the first time more or less, Wednesday is dealing with other beings just like her, minus the presence of her family and that some might be able to keep up with her.
Also I maintain the reason Wednesday 'covered' for Enid in regards to the hospitality thing is cos she was surprised and a little flabbergasted Enid stood up to her when ever gorgons flee her gaze. She doesn't now quite how to feel about it, but she'll be damned if she's let's anyone think she didn't know what to do.

Note
Well, Enid was split from Wednesday for years in the bodyguard AU (I believe a decade?) so she spent years just feeling time get past her.
"Ticking away the moments that make up a dull day, fritter and waste the hours in an offhand way."
Enid most likely spent a lot of time just thinking of Wednesday, all their moments and time together; so much time and energy that her days became a bit more dull. All her thoughts are consuming her, but she can't just stop working. She has to spend time offhandedly, thinking.
"Kicking around on a piece of ground in your hometown, waiting for someone or something to show you the way."
Enid could maybe go back to San Francisco for awhile, go back not to her family, but the places she grew up, just for a moment to feel a sense of familiarity, consistency.
And I feel it's to fair think that she'd push herself in relationships she isn't ready for, or are obviously unhealthy to begin with. Sometimes it feels better to be hurt by someone who's there than someone who stole your heart and left with it.
"Tired of lying in the sunshine, staying home to watch the rain."
Enid seems like the type to get agoraphobic after Nevermore. The sun seems worse after Wednesday leaves. Rain is something Wednesday liked, always seemed a little happier (as happy as would express, anyways) when it rained.
Enid won't go out into it, but she can still admire it.
"You are young and life is long, and there is time to kill today."
I feel like Yoko would say something to this effect; she understands that Wednesday left a mark on Enid's heart that she'll never get rid of, but that doesn't mean she should just sit inside and mope. Have fun with your friends; the pain won't stop, but you can dull it, even if only slightly.
"And then one day you find, ten years have got behind you."
This one feels pretty self-explanatory; one day it just slams into her chest, the fact that she's lost so much time to just thinking of Wednesday.
"No one told you when to run, you missed the starting gun."
Imagine spending so much of your teen years loving and yearning for the touch and experience of just one person, and one day you're just an adult and people expect you to know and do things. Imagine having to sit in your lonely apartment, realizing you missed out on so much time with people because you couldn't let go.
"And you run, and you run to catch with the sun— but it's sinking, racing around to come up behind you again."
(My stars, I adore this lyric so much. Even outside of Wenclair, I love this song and this lyric.) That feeling of catching up, finally feeling free from the past just to see a crow or a murder case, and then feeling it crash into your back, right into your spine, out of nowhere. That feeling that you've been lying to yourself, gaslighting-burnt and pained. Choking on your shame.
"The sun is the same in a relative way, but you're older, shorter of breath, and one day closer to death."
Waking up and seeing the same damn sun, always bright and hot and burning and unafraid of itself. All the very things Enid wants to be, but can't be because how can she?
"Every year is getting shorter, never seem to find the time."
Enid couldn't bring herself to ever 'find the time' to contact Wednesday. She has the information to speak with the Addams, and by extension Wednesday. It's easy to tell yourself soon, that it'll all happen soon, but when is soon gone, and later is too late?
"Plans that either come to naught, or half a page of scribbled lines."
Maybe Enid plans to do something about it, speaking to Wednesday or an Addams or something, she'll write a whole document about it, always just a moment away from finishing it. Maybe she plans to visit Wednesday on the author's birthday, but then she misses it, and convinces herself to try again next year, because she can't do it now, she's missed the day.
"Home, home again, I like to be here when I can, and when I come home cold and tired, it's good to warm my bones beside the fire, far away, across the field, the tolling of the iron bell, calls the faithful to their knees, to hear the softly spoken magic spells."
I made this one big lyric because oh dear, it's so perfect. I feel like it'd be the end of bodyguard Enid. "Home, home again," Enid would say, walking into the home she shares with Wednesday, breathing in the scent of heat and warmth and love. She wants to be there all the time, when she can, because it's the home she shares with the woman she loves. She doesn't come back from the rain, I feel like it hits harder if you see it as her returning to Wednesday— Wednesday is her home, the person she goes to when she's so cold and bone-deep exhaustion presses on every bone in her body, snuggling up to the warmth of her lover's love.
-Writer Anon. (Sorry this took almost two days to send in. I got tired :( also, this is about Time by Pink Floyd, incase you couldn't hear the song well enough from your ear being messed up. Take better care of yourself, Streamer.)
Yes Enid has been split from wednesday for a decade since she was 16 to 25! Spent like five to six years in smth military related before being a bodyguard for two years
But damn, the more we explore bodyguard Enid the more I realized that she's been a in slump that whole decade which is just.. Sad. The way you write her makes her a bit more healthier to be honest because personally what I had in mind was something more off in the head, a lil side effect of being a grimwolf, military service and yearning for her mate that's been absent for far more than she should
OVERALL THE WAY YOU TIED THE LYRICS TO ENID'S JOURNEY 😭😭 Boutta cry, she's just a sad girl missing her love, I'm happy she got to go home in the end, that's amazing for her
No worries about taking your time writer! I hope you rested well, that's what matters in the end

17 | Under Arrest
Series: Valentine Addams | Wednesday
Paring: (Xavier Thorpe x OFC Addams! Tyler Galpin x OFC Addams!)
Word Count: 2283
Warnings: none
16. Rave'N | 18. Birthday, Yes
Tumblr media
All week I've been considered about Eugene in the hospital but I knew he would be okay. I saw it so I had to keep reminding myself and his moms about my powers. This weekend was parent's weekend so I was kinda looking forward to seeing everyone. "There they are." Our father tries hugging Wednesday as we walk over to them.
"Hi, Father." I give him a hug then our mother then Pugsley. Wednesday goes on to tell them about Thing then they ask her how's it been.
"Since you've abandoned me here with Valentine, I've been hunted, haunted, and a target of an attempted murder." She tells them. "
Ah, Nevermore. I love you so." Our father smiles.
Weems ends up taking Wednesday and our parents to her office to talk so I spend time with Pugsley outside. "How has it been here for you?" He asks as we sit at a table.
"Good, until Wednesday showed up dragging me into finding a monster with her." I laugh, "I think you would like it here honestly. You'd make friends easily. I'm surprised I have friends." I tell him.
"You have actual friends? You?"
"Yep. Enid over there is a werewolf. Yoko my roommate is a vampire. Eugene is in the hospital recovering from an attack. Ajax is a gorgon so his hair is snakes. Kent and Divina are sirens. Xavier is up there watching us, he still haven't apologized for being a jerk last weekend. And Tyler is in town working at the Weathervane right now."
"I can't believe you have friends. What happened to people suck and you will never have friends again since you can't trust anyone?" He tilts his head.
"As you can tell I've changed some being here. Which still sorta scares me because I'm not used to it."
"Well hearing what mom says about you and what you tell her... I like this new Valentine as well. I mean you're still the same person deep down just with new updates." He laughs.
"I've missed you." I lean across the table to mess up his hair.
-
When the three come back we're told we have to do family therapy while their here. I was not looking forward to that the entire drive into town. In Dr. Kinbott office it was awkward as we all just sat there in silence. "So, who wants to start?" She asks us.
After some few words from our parents and brother Wednesday stands up with the police file Tyler gave us. "Who was Garrett Gates, and why are you accused of murdering him?" She gets straight to to point.
"Those charges were dropped. Your father is an innocent man." Our mother tells her. "Local sheriff doesn't seem too convinced." She tells her.
"Wednesday, stop." I give her a look because I felt like family therapy wasn't the best place to bring it up because it wasn't Kinbott's business to know all of this to me.
"Your sister is right. This is neither the time nor the place." Our mother stands up. "Actually, this is exactly the place. These sessions are-,"
Our mother cuts her off, "Doctor. This does not concern you. And I refuse to debate a decades old witch hunt with you right now." They end up glaring at each other making Wednesday tell her she will find out on her own.
"What did happen that night?" I ask my father as mother walks back to us as Wednesday walked away.
"We will not discuss it right now. It was in the past and your father did nothing wrong." My mother tells me.
"We have a right to know still. The sheriff doesn't like us because of whatever happened and won't listen to us when we talk about the monster." I tell her.
"Someday but not now." She tells me.
"I'm going to see Tyler. I'll see you at school." I walk away from them wishing they would just tell us to get this over with.
"Family therapy?" Tyler sits across from me giving me a drink.
"Didn't go well, of course. Wednesday showed them the police report and demanded to know why our father was accused of murder. Our mother wanted no talk of it whatsoever." I rest my chin in my hand.
"At least they still went in a therapy session with you two. My father just isn't comfortable talking family stuff to a complete stranger." He huffs.
"Does he think it's easy for us to sit there and talk about our crap?" I scoff.
"That's exactly what I told him." He looks up at the ceiling signing.
"I like it here at Nevermore but lately I use want to escape from everything and everyone. Go somewhere where I don't have to deal with people, feelings, anything..." I sigh doing the same and close my eyes.
"I know exactly what you mean."
"Let's just drive until we can't drive anymore." I joke making him chuckle.
"I'm all in but I still don't get off for a few more hours." He plays along.
"Damn, just ditch. I mean we're running away."
"Well, we need money to run away. You don't have a job so I have to provide for us to do so." He makes me laugh more.
"I can rob a bank and get away with it. I've done it before." I tell him and he didn't know if I was lying or telling the truth.
"Really or?" He looks at me.
"Shh." I put my finger over my mouth.
"Sadly, we're stuck here. Well, I am. You get to leave when school is over." He looks out the window.
"You could always come visit me. I could have Lurch come get you." I suggest.
"You want me to come visit during the summer?" He looks at me.
"Why not?" I smile.
"I'll think about it. I gotta get back to work." He gets up.
"I should head back to school anyways." I get up as well.
-
Back at school when we were all eating except Wednesday because she was still annoyed with our parents. "Can I ask what this is about, Sheriff?" I hear Weems and look over to see him and other officers.
"Mom..." I look at her as Galpin walks towards us.
"Gomez Addams." He calls out dad's name.
"How can I help you, Sheriff?" Father stands up.
"You're under arrest for the murder of Garrett Gates." He tells him making us all stand up.
"You have the right to remain silent. Anything you say can and will be used against you in a court of law." He hands cuffs him walking him off.
While Wednesday goes to visit our father I stay with our mother. "Wednesday told me she saw you laying a rose on Garrett Gates grave earlier today. Who was he? And what happened?" I ask her hoping she would be honest with me.
"Garrett was infatuated with me. Took my kindness for interest. His infatuation turned into obsession and he started stalking me. The police didn't believe us because his family were the oldest and richest here. His grandfather was an outcast hater. He was furious that I had accused his only son." She explains to me looking at the floor. "What happened?" I ask her. "It was the night of the Rave'N Dance. Your father and I stepped out. Garrett had broken into the school. You could see in his eyes he had murderous intent. I told your father to run away but Garrett wouldn't stop chasing him. They had a sword fight out in the rain were construction was being done. It was all self defense, he was unstoppable but the thing is... your father didn't kill him, I jumped in to save your father." She explains to me.
"He took to blame to protect you because he loved you..." I say and she had tears in her eyes.
"Of course he did. I always knew this would come back and haunt us." She sighs.
"I can't believe Sheriff Galpin arrested father. I know as soon as Tyler says something about it his father will just give him shit for being my friend." I sigh as well.
"Do you like this boy?" She changes the topic.
"I still don't fully know feelings... and I've developed new ones I've never felt before until I met him. He makes me feel so many things and it makes me feel like I'm losing my mind." I explain to her making her smile.
"That means you really like this boy, dear."
"I know but... I'm not supposed to feel things like this. Since I started here at Nevermore, I've changed mother. I care more about some people, I've opened up to others, I sorta care about how others see me, and like being around friends." I make her chuckle.
"You're not changing that much dear. You just feel comfortable here and that's what I was hoping for." She pets the top of my head.
I was spending time with Pugsley when Wednesday told us she needed to borrow me for a bit. She tells me we're going to dig up Garrett Gates then adds the other details to why we needed to dig him up.
"This reminds me of when you two got your first grave-digging kit. Wednesday, you were so happy you nearly smiled. And Valentine it was the first time you ever smiled." Our mother tells us as we dig.
"Are you sure don't want to join?" Wednesday stops to look at her.
"Uh...mmm... No, that's okay, darling. I don't want to spoil your fun." Our mother looks at her nails before we reach the box.
"Moment of truth." I move for Wednesday to open the coffin.
"Well, well, what do we have here?" An officer walks over to us. "Guess there's gonna be an Addams family reunion in lockup tonight. You're all under arrest." She tells us so we put our hands up.
In lockup our parents wouldn't get off each other. "I've seen jackals with more self-control than you two. Neither one of you are strong enough to serve hard time. And thanks to me, you won't have to." Wednesday tells them and I go take a seat.
We learned Garrett Gates was dying from Nightshade poisoning before our mother stabbed him. As Wednesday goes to get the finger from our mother as she was kissing father she has a vision.
"What did you see?" I ask her.
"The night Garrett died, he had a bail of nightshade poison that broke in his pocket. He wasn't just trying to kill father. He was going to use the nightshade poison to murder the entire school." She tells us.
-
The next morning we go see the mayor to get him to clear the charges and tell him we know he covered up the truth about how Garrett died. After we got our deal Wednesday and our mother talk about her visions so I just listen standing to the side.
"Our psychic ability resides on the spectrum of who we are. Given my disposition, my visions tend to be positive. That makes me a Dove." She explains to her.
"And for someone like me? Who sees the world through a darker lens?"
"You're a Raven. Your visions are more potent, more powerful. But without the proper training, they can lead to madness. If I could help you, I would, Wednesday. But we're not trained by the living. Somebody from our bloodline reaches out from the beyond to help us when we're ready." Our mother lets her know.
"Goody has. I've seen her before." Wednesday tells her.
"Be careful, Wednesday. Goody was a witch of great strength, but her vengeance pushed her too far, and even she couldn't save herself." Mother adds.
"How are yours?" She turns to me.
"Mixed, good ones and bad ones." I let her know making her seem slightly worried since I was between two.
I leave the two and go wait for father to be released. "My little fallen angel." He smiles as he comes out with Sheriff Galpin.
"Sorry about all of this." He tells my father.
"I don't hold grudges, only blood debts." Father tells him.
"He's not lying. I did the same thing from the age six to ten." I nudge my father with my elbow.
"Your daughter and my son have become... close." He tells my father looking at me.
"I pity any boy who gets caught in her viper's gaze, but he must be a good egg. She wouldn't tolerate anything less." My father smiles at me.
"He has his mom to thank for that." Sheriff sighs.
"Tyler's great... He's the first person I opened up to and felt comfortable around." I smile at both of them.
"You have a great daughter..." They shake hands before the sheriff walks off.
"Dad. I've missed you so much!" Pugsley hugs him as we join the rest of the family and have a group hug but Wednesday just stands there with her arms to her side.
Back at school parents weekend comes to an end and we say our goodbyes. "Don't be scared of changing because you're still you, darling. And don't be afraid of your feelings. I understand some are very new for you but you'll get them. Don't be afraid to act on them... especially romantic ones." My mother kisses the top of my head going to talk to Wednesday.
"Look at this." Wednesday comes over to me when our parents left.

We end up taking Tyler to Xavier's art shed and as he's passed out we chain him up to a chair. Part of my psychotic side was gone because normally I would love this but I didn't with Tyler.
As he wakes up he sees me leaning on the desk next to Ajax, "Valentine." He looks at me like I betrayed him but he betrayed me first.
"Ignore her but welcome back." Wednesday stands in front of him.
"Where the hell am I?"
"Somewhere no one can hear your screams." She tells him and I look down at the floor.
"What's with the chains? Wednesday, this is crazy. I'm a normie."
"That's only half true." She grabs the fencing photo, "Do you recognize her? Perhaps if I hadn't been so distracted by my own mother hogging this photo, I would have noticed yours sooner." She says making him look over at me.
"You shared my mom went here?"
"She didn't tell me anything. I didn't know she even knew. She kept that secret to herself. I did all my research yesterday. Your father fell in love and married an outcast." Wednesday speaks not letting me get a chance to.
"My mom was an outcast. That doesn't make me a monster."
"According to her personal medical records, her postpartum depression triggered her condition." She reads the file Thing stole.
"My mom had severe bipolar disorder:"
"We both know that's a lie. She was a Hyde. And your father has been living his life in dread, never quite sure whether or not she passed her condition on to you." She raises her voice.
"Are you all gonna stand that and let her do this to me? Valentine?" I could hear the pain in his voice.
"Uh, guys? Enid just texted. Thornhill's suspicious. How long until he morphs into that… thing?" Ajax asks putting his phone away.
"I'm not the Monster."
"You are. Valentine saw it in a vision at the Weathervane." Wednesday tells him.
"Wait, you're basing all this off some vision Valentine had after we kissed? I mean, is that something you can trust?" Tyler looks at her and then at me.
"I saw the Hyde kill Kinbott and it went back to its human self… you. You know how our visions work so please don't act dumb now." I finally speak up.
"Wednesday, what are you doing?" Bianca asks as Wednesday takes out tools to torture him.
"Just some light torture. Don't worry, I won't leave a mark."
"Wednesday, hold on." I tell her not agreeing to that.
"Wait, are you being serious?" Ajax asks her.
"There's only one thing that a Hyde understands. Pain." She says before walking up to Tyler tasing him making us all shout her name.
"That's it. I'm out!" Yoko heads out and the others follow.
"Wednesday, I didn't sign up for this. Let's go to Weems, and explain everything." Bianca walks up to her.
"Weems won't help. And Tyler is always one step ahead of his father." Wednesday pulls out another taser.
"Then you're on your own. Val, let's go." Bianca turns to leave grabbing my hand taking me with her as I look at Tyler.
"No, don't leave me here with her, please l! I'm begging you, please!" He calls for us to help him.
"Bianca, I can't. Just go to Weems with the others. I would normally love to watch something like that happen to someone… but I can't because my psychotic side has gone down some." I make her let go of me as Tyler screams. "Go to Weems." I turn to go back inside.
"Leave us alone, Val." Wednesday stands in front of Tyler.
"No!"
"No?" She turns to face me surprised.
"Torturing him isn't going to get you any answers. I don't know who his master is but I know 100% it wasn't Kinbott. Why would he kill his master? It makes no sense." I walk over to her side.
"Before Nevermore, you would've enjoyed this." She tases Tyler again and he yells in pain.
"Yeah, I would have but not anymore. I believe in my theory about Tyler and if it's true then he's a victim too. He didn't choose for this to happen!" I shout but she ignores me going to tases him again so I knock one out of her hand.
She looks at me like I lost my mind, "You're still psychotic deep down and it just changed into a different way. You want to protect a murderer." She tases him with the one in her other hand so I kick that one out of her hand.
"You changed too… For someone who loves to attempt murders since she was three suddenly hates a murderer. It's quite odd since you idolize killers."
"Stop interrupting me! What is Kinbott, or should I say, Laurel Gates, using you for? Tyler, the body parts in the basement of the Gates mansion, what was she collecting them for?" She asks him making him ask why was she doing this.
"You can stop acting since we all know the truth in this room about you, please." I turn to Tyler as Wednesday goes to get a hammer as sirens approach, "Wednesday, no."
"Let's test your reflexes." She gets ready to swing the hammer at him.
"I said no!" I step in front of him to protect him from her grabbing her arm stopping her as Sheriff Galpin comes in pointing his gun at her.
"Get away from my son! Drop it." He comes closer so I let go of her arm as she turns to him.
As they put her in handcuffs I get the key to unchain Tyler, "Why?" He watches me as I help him get freed.
"I want to go the nice way about this but stop lying to me since I know the truth about you now. I'm still messed up deep down because I'm helping a murderer. I want the truth and I want to be right about you." I get him free and he stands up.
"Why are you helping me?" He looks down at me as his father watches us and watches the others take Wednesday to a police car.
"Because I still have feelings for you when I shouldn't." I keep eye contact with him so he pulls me into a hug.
"Valentine, I want you to go to the station as well." Sheriff Galpin speaks up so I look over giving him a head nod and we head out to go into town.
-
"What to tell me why your sister wanted to hurt my son? Why she kidnapped him?" Sheriff Galpin walks around the room that was just the two of us.
"Because we know the truth and you know it too deep down but can't bring yourself to fully admit or lock up your own son. You're like me, Sheriff. We don't want anything happening to Tyler but he's not fully innocent. And since we don't want anything to happen, an innocent person is locked up for the murders. You can keep telling yourself Tyler is fine and not like his mother but I know the truth. I saw the truth. My boyfriend is a killer that's a victim and my friend is an innocent accused of being the killer."
"Xavier is our Hyde." He looks at me.
"Tyler is our Hyde and his master is still out there! Your wife was bipolar and I believe Tyler has a split personality. I don't have the power for empath but I know I felt two feelings from the monster when I first saw it. Anger and fear. Tyler doesn't have control of his Hyde. Tyler is basically Dr. Jekyll. And you can believe me or not but I believe in myself that I'm right." I tell him and I could tell he wanted to agree with me.
"You're free to go. I plan on doing the same with your sister even though she wanted to hurt my son. I'm actually surprised you stepped in front of Tyler to stop her." He lets me go to go talk to Weems.
"Valentine." Tyler walks over to me so I just look at him. "I want to see if you can get any from me to help you." He cups my face pulling me into a kiss.
It was exactly a vision, it was like I was looking inside him. There was Tyler's but you could tell they were different from each other by the look in their eyes. One was so innocent, kind, and loving while the other was hateful, angry, and crazy. Not to mention I could see the shadow of the Hyde behind the dark Tyler.
Everything gets smokey before I get a vision of him after killing Kinbott again. This time I see him still normal all bloody with an evil smile taking her necklace. Then I could see the instant switch on his face like he regretted it.
I lean out of the kiss looking Tyler in the eyes, "I'm right…" I cup his face in my hands, "You're kinda my Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde. Expect you remember perfectly everything you do as Hyde, but the only difference is you're not in control while you have a master."
"I never used you, Valentine. I truly fell in love with you. Not because someone told me to." He smiles slightly cupping my face as well.
Before I could ask him a question, Wednesday comes out so he goes over to talk to her after getting his father to allow it. I suddenly feel this shift of feelings while he walks closer talking to her. He wasn't Tyler he was Tyler the Hyde. As he steps back from her I feel the shift of feelings change again going back to his normal self as he walks back towards me passing me.
I look at Wednesday down the hall not only she was scared of Tyler but I felt her fear before she left. "You're not going to tell me who your master is. Are you?" I turn around to face Tyler.
"Red."
