Legalization of recreational cannabis use in Canada and medical use in the UK

Between these two differing styles of opinion I have to say that I side with the second, in my opinion the first is an outdated view which could apply to many legal activities such as the allowance of alcohol. Rogan’s point of view to me really stands out as putting the situation in a literal perspective and hiding from the stereotypes behind, makes us question why it was ever made illegal in the first place. For this topic specifically I’d say an anarchist belief becomes relevant in saying ‘why should the law criminalise individuals for doing something which they enjoy and has no negative correlation towards anybody else’, humans should have no right to order one another on what they can or can’t do when that action doesn’t affect them.

The statements shown here oppose in whether ‘Coach Ekk’, the adult guardian of the football team, should be blamed for the tragedy which occurred or not. Despite his acclaimed ignorance to read a warning sign preceding their entry to the cave, the families of the children regard coach Ekk as a hero for his bravery and the part he played in helping rescue the team. However after reviewing the situation, I discovered it was not a surprise for the time of year that the downpour happened adding to the careless nature which bought this danger in the first place, therefore it is undeniable that coach Ekk is at fault for what happened but this cannot take away from his credibility as a person in what he did to aid the recovery process.

 Facebook ‘glitch’ breaches the privacy of 14 million users

In my personal opinion on this case, I can’t deny that what Mr. Zuckerberg did was wrong and out of order and I don’t believe what happened was a glitch, Facebook is too much of an established company for errors like this to occur without anybody realising for so long. Contrary to this though the case also falls to the stupidity of any social media user who thinks what they post is safe and secure with privacy, in this day and age there is no way to fully protect yourself from these issues and putting your faith into Facebook is a large mistake in the first place. If this was Zuckerberg’s sole privacy issue I’d perhaps believe what he says but himself and Facebook as a whole have been exposed to too many situation resembling this, which highlights to me possible intention.

 Global warming continues and effects are greatened

Without doubt the biggest threat to our own and future generations is global warming, whether it’s proven to be real or not, the effects are obvious and if humanity carries on to live how it currently is the outcome will only continue to become more detrimental. World leaders stand to have varying perspectives on the situation, some of which are based on pure greed of money along with their own selflessness, being what I believe to be the motive for US president, Donald Trump. Everything including the style of language and form of media used, come together to portray his stupidity on the matter. As supported by the statement of previous president Barack Obama, research leads to the belief that if we continue in how we are the disasters will become irreversible, leading to the point that change is needed now.

This final event causing conflict of opinion once again revolves around the thoughtless nature of President Trump’s ‘tweets’ as he delves into matters out of his depth. As such a highly established person being a world leader there is no reason for why he should making ill informed statements on such important events. What he implies will only act as a distraction from their task in hand. This case exemplifies not only a disaster but reasoning for why people of this high a status should not have the freedom to interact in this social form with a population.
