DUDE i never thought about the medical stuff with Soundwave!! Now I'm even crazier. This show I swear 😭

Breakdown loses an eye and we literally have an ep where Megs goes "Did you drop it you one eyed oaf?" like please, he's trying his best! Knockout gets HIT BY A TRAIN and Megs tells him he doesn't gaf and he needs to make sure Soundwave and Laserbeak are okay. Meanwhile he's in the medbay with Soundwave watching him get checked out? Bro??? And then later he specifically makes sure to remind Knockout (still covered in train scratches btw) that Soundwave needs a new visor. They're so hand in unlovable hand.

Breakdown gets kidnapped by humans and experimented on and Megatron says “skill issue”

Knockout comes back scratched as all hell and the first thing he says (after KO tells him he doesn’t have the relic) is to Fix Soundwave. Also may I add after they find a grenade in Laserbeak Megatron very calmly tells Knockout to get rid of it while he stays with Soundwave.

I really like his “Soundwave” voice… it’s so gentle and almost playful at times… they’re besties 😭

Also I just want to add that it sounds like Megatron has a similar tone of speaking with Shockwave, calling him his “most prized engineer” and MAKING SURE HE DOESN’T GO TO THE BATTLEFIELD!! He hears that Shockwave was *this* close to fighting Optimus and says “hell no you’re not dying on me you’re too important.”

He may not be Megatron’s bestie like Soundwave is, but he also gets privileges Decepticons don’t usually have. I know he calls Shockwave for work reasons but the fact that he sounds kinda casual with him and even says “Oh, no one important” when Starscream interrupts him, idk he sounds gentler with him? More respectful definitely. Constantly complimenting Shockwave’s work even if they don’t go according to plan (Predaking doesn’t take down the autobots on first try but he doesn’t get mad in spite of Starscream purposefully trying to rile him up). He’s a Decepticon that visibly makes him happy to see (he seemed neutral reacting to Dreadwing’s arrival)
