i swear some people’s only comprehension of the concept of character development is ‘they were Bad but now they are no longer Bad’
#i mean first of all negative character development is still character development#but even then it’s like. is it really negative anyway. they must’ve changed for a reason right#you can spin it a few different ways to make it seem good or bad sometimes#‘was cowardly but is now brave’ can also be spun was ‘was cautious but is now rash’#like i think people assign a clear moral value to character change every single time or at least they want to#so when a character change doesn’t obviously line up as good or bad people are like pfft ok whatever some change right?#not interesting smh#peach rambles#it’s almost 1am i hope these tags make sense
