@disdainy show-and-tell would be absurd. he’d heave in objects from 5th or 6th BCE with a straight face, artifacts from Camelot, floor-length tapestries with every thread intact, and magical items even. hell, I would’t put it past him to loan Excalibur from Freya for a lecture one day, letting the children of albion (his students) pass it around and touch it, while he looks on. the other medieval studies professors might be a tad jealous and concerned… but he’s been tenured longer than the school had bricks on the ground so no one complains much.
