I have a copy of my auto insurance information and car registration in my car already in the glove box. But is it necessary to keep a copy on my wallet just in case? Just curious my mom keeps telling me to keep it in my wallet but I never needed to take it out in my life. I know this may sound irresponsible, but I have recieved two tickets in the past month in two seperate locations within Texas. The first ticket I received was for not coming to a complete stop and having my old insurance card because I left the new one which was sitting at home.
