I don’t think it’s possible for me to read an analytic philosophy essay on ethics and not walk away so so frustrated
#not because of any of the normal critiques of ethics#it’s just so funny to open up a 25 page essay and have the first few pages be#‘XYZ issues are beyond the scope of this argument so I will not be addressing them’#okay cool so then this entire thing only exists in the fantasy land where X=x and Y=y and Z=z#worthless! thanks#we just need to figure out metaethics first but y’all can’t get there even a little#if you refuse to admit what morals really are
