(Aka something that I started to write at 12 am in the morning because I wanted some Borrower! Submas situations :V. Also @quietlywatchingwritingreading I think you might like this)
Normally, Ingo wouldn’t have gone out borrowing in the middle of the day. It was just too dangerous because of the presence of so many passengers in the station, as well as having to worry about the workers since they had access to the more private areas.
But unfortunately, circumstances made it so that today became an exception. Winter was approaching, and with it came cold and snow, so he and his brother had to go out borrowing more than usual in order to have enough supplies for that time.
Carefully, Ingo peeked from the outlet he was hiding behind and listened carefully. He could hear the sounds of the humans passing through the station, but those were far and there was no sound coming from the room. Good.
Still, he stepped in with caution. The fact that there wasn’t any sound didn’t mean that someone couldn’t be present in there. After scanning his surroundings and confirming that yes, the space was currently empty, he let out a small sigh of relief.
Now to go find what he was looking for…
The borrower pulled out his crotchet hook from his bag as he walked towards a small table, before launching it at it. After making sure that it was properly lodged in, Ingo started to climb the makeshift rope tied to it. When he reached the top he took a moment to pause and check his surroundings once again. The coast was still clear. For now.
Ingo looked at the things in the table. There were some materials like paper clips , a pen and some stamps that would normally be his and his twin’s targets on a trip. But today he wasn’t looking for those, and instead he focused on a transparent zip bag that was twice his size containing a mass of white fluffly stuff; cotton.
This stuff would be useful to make some coats for themselves and give warm in their den. Right after pulling his hook from the table, the borrower approached the bag. He had to jump a bit in other to unzip it, but apart from that he had no problem in getting inside it and pulling out some cotton; not enough that the humans would notice, but just so that he didn’t need to get more soon.
But as he put the stuff on his borrowing bag, his ears lifted, picking up a sound: footsteps. And unlike the ones coming from the humans wanting to board the trains, this one was so close that it practically muffled the ones farther in the station and was getting louder by the moment.
It was coming here.
Ingo’s body shook, and he practically slammed his bag shut before dashing out of the comparatively giant zip bag. His hurry and fear made him fall awkwardly out of it, but that was far from his biggest concerns as he scrambled to get up and run.
But there wasn’t enough time to put his hook to climb down and hide, since seconds later he heard the jingling of keys and saw the door handle turn. Thinking quickly, the borrower looked around before his eyes settled on a small box and he immediately bolted to hide behind it an instant before the door finally opened and a human stepped in.
Ingo instantly curled his tail around his body and covered his mouth, not daring to make a sound as he heard the human walk close. This spot was too much in the open for his comfort, barely hiding him from the giant, and he was sure that if he made any small action he would be spotted immediately.
He didn’t turn his head to look at the human, but he could sense that they were already in front of the table, looking at the stuff. Suddenly he remembered that he forgot to close the bag with the cotton, and he mentally cursed himself as he heard it’s wrinkling when the employee grabbed it and murmured, clearly confused as to why the thing was open.
For a moment, he hoped that the employee would go outside to call their companions and that would give him enough time to get down and escape. But that hope was immediately shattered when he heard a hum and his hiding spot was suddenly moved, leaving the borrower in the open as a shadow loomed over him accompanied by a sound of surprise.
He had been spotted.
Ingo’s body was completely frozen in fear, and he didn’t dare look back at the human, not wanting to meet is terrifying gaze. Everything screamed at him to run, to get away immediately. And he wanted to do so. But he found himself unable to move, absolutely terrified.
That was, until the shadow shifted a bit, getting away for an instant. He dared to look behind him and spotted the human grabbing a small container and freezing when their gazes met. He knew exactly what they wanted to do. And he bolted.
The human gasped at his sudden movement, but Ingo didn’t pay attention to it one bit, pulling his hook on the table as fast as he could before climbing down like his life depended on it. When he was a bit close to the floor he jumped off and dislodged his hook in a swift motion before barely dodging a giant hand trying to grab him.
The outlet in which he came inside was fairly close, and the borrower hoped that he would be able to get to it and get away from danger. But as he got a bit close, a giant leg stomped right in front of it, making Ingo yelp in surprise and hastily turn around.
Thinking quickly, Ingo decided to go for the still open door. But in his panic he miscalculated the distance that was separating them, and when the human noticed his plan an it only took a few steps for them to get to it and close it.
The borrower felt a cold shiver on his body as he paused and looked up, up at the human. He was cornered. Then he remembered that the human had moved and the outlet was now clear. He still could escape! If he was careful..
Not taking his eyes off the employee, he slowly took some steps back. For a moment the human just stared, probably trying to predict what this tiny creature would try to do next. Then, they also took a step towards them. Ingo gulped, but tried to not show his nervousness as he moved back again.
He risked a quick glance at the outlet to confirm that yes, it was open, before looking back at the human. After q moment in which neither he or they had changed their positions, he took his chance.
This time, the human was far enough from it that even when they sprinted at him, he arrived at the spot without much trouble. But just when he was climbing inside, he felt himself getting pulled by the tail, making him wince in pain. Turning around with tears forming in his eyes, he noticed the human grabbing the fluffy end of the tail with is fingers and then it pulled again, partially getting him out.
Ingo immediately tried to get his tail free, but when he fully turned to do so the human used the opportunity to lower a hand as big as him and warp their long and strong fingers tightly around the borrower.
Said borrower gasped in surprise and tried in vain to grasp the floor. But the strength of something so small was nothing compared to that of a being who was giant compared to them, and so he was lifted up without much trouble.
Ingo could only stare as the floor was getting more and more far away the more he was going up, and when he instead looked at his captor, and then the realization hit him; He had been caught.
He had heard many stories about how others of his kind felt when they were grabbed by a human, how much terror and fear they felt as they were in the hands of danger. But none of them prepared him from what it felt like when one was actually in said situation, and the only thoughts in his head were those of panic and a big desire to get out and hide in the walls immediately.
Seemly unaware of the pure terror that was overtaking the borrower as he tried to shuffle and get out of their grip, the human stared at him, their expression a mix of curiosity and wonder. Experimentally, they moved their fingers a bit to caress Ingo, who only shivered and teared up more in discomfort as he was being touched.
Then, in the corner of his eye, he saw the human grab the container again, and his eyes widened as he let out a gasp.
No, no , NO-
As the dreaded thing came closer, he tried everything he could think of to get out. He kicked, he tried to push the fingers from his body. He even tried to bite the hand, but because of the gloves his captor was wearing that only resulted in him getting his mouth full of cloth. But the hand didn’t even yield, instead only tightening its grip on him as he was lowered into the plastic container.
Finally, when it did let him go, Ingo was already inside the container, making him fall with a small thud and closing the item with a lid before he could even get up.
The borrower looked at the the ground below him, then at the lid that was now covering the only possible place where he could escape, and then at the human, at which point he scrambled at one of corners of the container, breathing heavily as he pressed himself on the wall, trying and failing to stay calm as his mind went cold and his body shook at the situation he was currently in.
The employee only stared at their catch before putting the container down on the table and leaving the room, leaving poor Ingo to slowly process the fact that he was now in big, big trouble. And there was nothing he could do about it.

I remember you saying you write a/b/o a while back but now I have to ask, cause I’m down bad for two subway boss twins, so you have like any romance headcanons for alpha twins or just in general?
fuckin i'm out on my abo lore let's be terribly disappointed. together💕💕
cw: abo dynamics,
▲Ingo▼
● He's on suppressants, first of all. The minute he and his brother presented, he asked his parent's to go on them, terrified he'd become angry and aggressive. They agreed, but wondered why he was so afraid. Emmet also went on them, following the lead of his older brother.
● Ingo would love his an omega partner. He wants the idea of a perfect relationship for an alpha. Of course, he knows that's not the only viable relationship type. His mother is an alpha and his father was a beta, and they're happily together. He just wants, he interprets to be his other half. Well, in a romantic way. Emmet and him often called themselves two halves of one whole. He finds himself eyeballing alpha and omega couples on the train with mild envy.
● When you enter Ingo's life, you're just a new worker at the station. You help around the administrative area, so you often only catch glimpses of him in the morning as you come in or the evening as you leave. Still, you see, your presumed beta boss is quite a handsome man. Occasionally, you tried to make conversation with him, even flirting, but you determined he was much too busy to slow down for someone like you. Well, until you forgot to take your suppressants and went into heat at work. Ingo immediately whisked you away from any alpha coworkers and left you in his office while he tried to figure out whom to come fetch you.
● When he finds no one, he's immediately panicked. You couldn't stay here; it was much too dangerous, yet his mind wouldn't let him send a defenceless omega home alone. Ingo alerts Emmet of the situation and declares that he will be escorting you back home. You find yourself absolutely entranced by a faint smell of ash, oil, coffee, and sandalwood. It put you completely at ease, so you buried yourself in the blanket it had stuck itself on. Ingo sees the sight and grows flustered, but he knows it's just instinct. Still, the sight of an omega so receptive to his scent does something to him. (Your scent is strong in his nose, but he resists, partially due to his suppressants and mostly from his willpower.)
● He takes you to your apartment while you keep rubbing against him, covering him your scent, while begging for him to stay with you. He remains strong and brings to the door of your abode. You're seen going inside, so his job is done. Still, he finds your scent plaguing his mind through your heat break. It was so attractive to him, comforting and homely. He's ashamed with what it does to him. (His poor blanket, his held close to him at night.)
● When you return, you're deeply embarrassed by what you had done and troubled by the Subway Boss calling you into his office. Ingo simply wants to discuss what to do in case of a repeat and to assure he understands; there are no harsh feelings. Yet, the minute you walk into his office, scent still strong, he realises how warm his body is. Immediately, he orders you out and to go get Emmet. You do this, while he grows more and more irritated. Ingo wanted you back desperately, his body craved your scent. Emmet rushes in and about gags at the thickness of his brother's scent. You dumbly rush to his side to check on him, and he latches around you, growling at the perceived threat of Emmet provided.
● Somehow, the younger twin wrestles you from his brother despite the uncharacteristic aggression he demonstrated. Ingo is sent home and barred from reentry until his rut passes. You feel terrible about the mess you caused. Emmet reassures you it's fine, but begs you to keep track of your heats or suppressants because he did not enjoy the bruise Ingo gave him. He's also debating how to get you into a room with his brother, with both of you completely sober minded.
● Eventually, he does. Ingo is terribly embarrassed to admit your scent had such a profound effect on him, while you tell him the same was true for you. He's flustered and asks you out to a date. You bond with one another quickly, finding a natural connection. You find yourself charmed with his dorky personality, counteracting his standoffish demeanor. It doesn't help that he's the most polite alpha you'd ever met.
● Ingo waits around a year into your relationship for you to share a cycle together. Everything about it was as you had imagined it, even controlled mostly by instinct, he out your needs above his. By the end, he bites down your bonding gland. You're officially mates. He's absolutely elated to announce himself equivalently married to his family and friends. They just laugh at his sudden gleeful attitude.
● He does want you to stay at home if you would. He's just in love with the idea of having a house spouse. Though, he's fine if you want to stay working at the station. People will unfortunately bare witness to him scenting you, even it's just a quick one to your wrist. Ingo is just proud to have you.
● He will want a family, but it's made even worse by his instincts. You'll have to deal with him staying longingly at young families. Should you agree, he's the most doting mate throughout the pregnancy. He'd even sacrifice his work coat to your nesting habits. The older twin is just ecstatic to have started a family at long last.
▽Emmet△
○ On and off suppressants because he's unsure of how he likes it best. At first, he stayed on them because his brother was and everything one twin did, the other had imitated. Well, until he realised Ingo's paranoia over becoming aggressive and territorial was untrue. The older twin was horrified to hear Emmet stopped taking his.
○ While Emmet would enjoy an omega as his partner, he's not opposed to betas. His father was one, after all, and he's a pretty decent person. Emmet doesn't want an alpha, though. He owns up to the fact he's slightly territorial and wants a partner who won't fight with him over topping in bed. He really gets annoyed because he feels it's his only chance to be fully in charge.
○ You're a beta trainer who challenges his line often. The battles you share are quite fulfilling, and he's glad that you come as much as you do. Trying to befriend the Subway Boss felt impossible, as he never spoke much after winning or losing. You thought he was disinterested in you. One trip, you failed to get your suppressants refilled. Your scent plagued the twin's train car while he held you close to him. Emmet had been incorrect, you were an omega. He was glad he was back on the spiral of taking suppressants because you were trying your hardest to get the alpha to take you. Ingo is called and informed of the situation, to which Emmet explains he's taking you home. He hangs up before his brother can complain or disagree.
○ You bury yourself fully into his chest, absorbing the scent of cinnamon, oil, patchouli with a small hint of something fruity. Emmet groans at your neediness, but he is nothing if not determined and resists. He's basically carrying you to your home, which you are not giving good directions to. The two of you arrive at long last while you're pleading with him to stay with you. He shakes his head and makes you enter the safety of your home before he runs away. His self-control was wearing thin.
○ When you return to challenge Emmet's line, you apologise about the scene you cause. Emmet shakes his head and tosses out his first pokemon. You're amazed by his style and poise, but what you don't know is how close he is screaming. The second your scent entered his nose, his body was struck with heat. The battle is terribly one-sided as he can't think straight. His pokemon are more worried about him than the battle, as well. The second the train stops, he's dashing away, trying to stop himself from encircling you with his body and scenting you. His teeth might just so happen to drift to your bonding gland. No! That's why he was running to his office. You ran after him, terribly worried about the Subway Boss. His resistance ends after you yell his name out. The entire station leaves you alone after Emmet holds you to his body, growling at anyone within a certain radius of you both. Ingo is alerted his brother is threatening commuters and apparently has a hostage. He investigates.
○ Ingo bans Emmet from the station until his rut passes, and is fully believing his opinions about going off suppressants. Blissfully, he's unaware Emmet had been on his during the incident. Though, Ingo had other pressing matters, as his brother had bitten him again. You apologised about the mess to Ingo, who tells you it's not your fault. His brother is just impulsive and territorial. The older twin has plans to have you both speak after his brother was out of his state.
○ When you do, Emmet admits your scent makes him feel strange. A good strange, he specifies. You giggle and say his has the same effect on you. Coyly, Emmet asks whether you would like to join him at favourite café. You agree and have a lovely first date with the younger twin. The sweetness and excitement Emmet provides quickly proves itself effective on you. His affection he loves to smother you in doesn't hurt either.
○ Emmet wants to spend a cycle with you a few months into your relationship. He's convinced you're the one for him, and the intimacy it provides is something he wants to share with you. You agree because why wait with such an eager, loving alpha. It is the best time you ever had in your life, every piece of it so fulfilling. His teeth bury themselves in your gland tenderly while you run your fingers through his hair. Emmet giggles as he introduces you as his mate. Ingo is horrified by how fast his brother moved along in the relationship, though he calms down after he sees how much you two love one another. Everyone else loudly congratulates you, having been wondering how long Emmet would make it. Elesa won the betting pool.
○ He doesn't care what you do for work, so long as it's safe. Emmet would like you at home, but he's not going to act like it's a preference or anything. Though, should you still regularly challenge his line, Ingo talks about just pouring sanitizer on the whole car. The younger twin just giggles while pulling you close. He can't help himself with a mate as lovely as you.
○ Also wants a family, but he's in no rush. Whenever you're ready, then he is too. He only asks you give him twins. That's all. When the time comes around, he's a very caring mate who makes sure you're comfortable and safe. He even makes a terrible patchwork quilt for your nesting pile because he read in a magazine about how omegas love homemade gifts for besting. Emmet will be cooing at your belly regularly, so prepare for that.
