Fall Fest was one of the most anticipated events of the school year and this year, Brooke didn't want to go at it alone. Local businesses set up booths selling seasonal foods and goods at a discounted rate for students -- such as hot chocolate, apple cider, pulled pork sandwiches, doughnuts and cookies. There were classic games and activities too, like apple bobbing, tarot card readings, pumpkin toss, hayrides, a corn maze, and because it was a college -- local alumnis and students would gather around the parking lot to tailgate, drinking alcohol and spiked cider until their bellies were full and their hearts were content while an old scary movie plays.

Despite their most recent text fight, (Brooke's doing of course) there was no chance in hell they were going to miss it. Not when they missed the last two years due to Tyler being gone for one of them and them not being a couple for the other one. Naturally, Tyler had been the one planning most of their more recent dates, as part of his ongoing plan to win her back and make up for the whole Riley thing. But considering how things went over text messages, Brooke thought she would surprise him this time. Show him that despite how crazy she gets over their past, this.... them.... it's not going away. He said it himself when he cornered her at her last event party. And, he was right. "Get dressed." Tyler was still laying in bed when Brooke entered his bedroom and threw open his blacked out curtains. She could tell he was depressed and she refused to let him wither away and wallow in it. Especially when his sour mood was all her doing. "We're going somewhere. You're going to have fun. And besides, I want to show you something." While standing at the edge of his bed, Brooke gently pinches the outline of his foot to further rouse him. "If it helps, Isadora and Volchok will be there. So, if you're mad at me, you can just talk to them instead."

Hi everyone.. As you all know, I've been working an internship since May and well - it has now become a job. It feels amazing that I get to do what I love & also have a means coming from it, especially when I have my masters coming up at the end of September. But this has also lessened my free time so I'm having to move Jennifer indefinitely to @girldox ! I will be on that blog for the time being. I'll check back here frequently but will most likely be on my multi-muse at all times. Thank you for all the love on this blog.. "You are so mean," Evie bemoans, a touch dramatically as she settles on the desk, her skirt hiking up a bit. "Always making me verbalise." The way she said the last word made it sound like she really hated doing it. Which, she supposed she does, especially when she's the type to leave her brain when having sex. Despite her complaints she tilts her head almost automatically as his lips ghosts over her skin. In doing so, she lightly nuzzles him back.

Her hand slides up, and up, to his head, entangling with his hair, almost - but not quite - pressing his head to her skin. That is, until she turns her head and finally gives him the kiss he'd wanted since earlier. She giggles when she pulls away, all smiles and contentment.

She eyes him, and she even with how charged the atmosphere was earlier, she still feels so, so soft. "You're very handsome, you know?" she says, and it's not the words he's looking for, but she means it nonetheless. Grey is someone who'd taken care of himself for sure, despite the long hours as once a med student, now doctor.

She willingly leans her head on his chest, looking at him pleadingly as she listens to his heartbeats. I kissed you and complimented you, is what she seems to say without words, do I really have to say it?

thinking about golden thread au...... spooky and buttercup have one eye each, with spooky having the left eye and buttercup having the right eye. because buttercup is the righteous side of chara.

and since they share the same set of eyes, that means they can sometimes glimpse from each other's eye as well. psychological horror galore for spooky 🙂🙂🙂

Against Isadora's best advice ( and truly, Brooke knew she meant well ) -- the latter invited Tyler over for some much needed soft practice, anyway. It wouldn't hurt to have him to fall asleep next to either. Brooke often hated sleeping alone. She preferred a cuddle buddy and out of all those she's ever had, Tyler was hands down her favorite.

After brushing her teeth, combing back her hair, and slipping into her pajamas ... Brooke climbed into bed and waited for Tyler to arrive. She had old re-runs of I love Lucy playing on her projector to keep her company.

The episode she was currently watching featured Lucy sitting on the couch knitting, while she waited for her husband to come home with the Papaya-used milkshake she requested. Pregnancy cravings. The episode reminds Brooke that she forgot to stop by the drugstore on her way home from Jake's party to grab a morning after pill. Seeing as, she and Gage mostly used condoms, Brooke wasn't as consistent with her birth control lately.

"Dammit!" Brooke curses as she throws the covers off herself to raid under her bathroom sink for one of the old pills she might have had on hand. "Yes!" She finds one hidden deep in the back of her drawer but, doesn't realize it's expired before she pops it onto her tongue and swallows.

Much as she loves Tyler to pieces and wants to marry and settle down with him one day, they weren't exactly equipped to be parents right now. Not while they still had to date each other in secret and he was too busy trying to wrangle a den full of blood-thirsty snakes.

Brooke, being so distracted by her thoughts and basking in her relief, didn't hear Tyler come in through the window or sneak up behind her in the bathroom. "Jesus!" Brooke jumps, before she whips her body around to face him and playfully reprimand him in the stomach. "Don't sneak up on me like that. You'll give me a heart attack." Even more so by looking as mouthwatering and devilishly handsome as he does on a daily basis without even trying. Honestly, sometimes it hurt to look at him.
