#Comment on previous tags :#I would add that Julian of Norwich’s revelation says this very beautifully#“Sin is behovely#BUT all shall be well and all shall be well and all manner of thing shall be well”#she tells us that sin is fitting!! As in it fits within God’s beautiful harmonious design of space and time—#(St. Augustine has a similar understanding of sin as a contrast to good that makes good more beautiful I think?)#—but Julian is also says that ALL shall be well. Sin is behovely now#but in the glorious future good alone will reign triumphant#and that’s the true comfort.#it is not enough that sin is behovely; God’s generosity#His grace#His justice#His love#All demand that Good alone shall reign.#Our true hope?
