— it was a cloudy day in early '97, you and dusty rhodes had been trying to figure out a new finisher for a match you had later in the day, you were both siting on the side of the ring just chatting when rey mysterio and another man behind him approached you.

— you and rey were close friends, so you immediately jumped up and when to hug him. “haven't seen you since last week!" you and rey were just catching up while dusty talked to the other guy. as rey went on to talk to dusty, the other guy approached and introduced himself while being totally extra, “my god mami! you're the most beautiful woman i've ever seen, i'm eddie guerrero, mind telling me your name?” “eddie, leave her alone, oh i forgot what i was here for! dusty, vince wanted to see us.” rey said. so they both left you and him alone.

— you gave him your prettiest smile and stuck you hand out to shake his, “my name is y/n y/l/n”

“y/n?” he asks, you giggle as you nod “well hello y/n,” and instead of shaking your hand, he took it and pressed a gentle kiss on your knuckles.

— and you stood there talking to each other about everything and nothing at the same time. you ended up inviting him to lunch with you, even though it was you and dusty's thing, the older man was nowhere to be seen and this was your chance to get to know eddie better.

— throughout lunch you both kept flirting with each other, eddie had an addictive personality, he was absolutely hilarious and was overall an amazing person.

— an ever since that day you've been practically glued at the hip.

— you quickly became everyone's favourite duo backstage. you both were the 'flirty friend' and everyone got to watch you flirt with each other like there's no tomorrow, which was absolutely entertaining.

— eddie had developed several habits after getting close to you,

— you'd drop some of the dirtiest pick up lines just to see him all blushy because his reactions were either :o or (◍•.•◍).

— it wasn't too long after that vince decided to put you in a love angle because of your incredible chemistry, and being that it was a love angle, the flirting was now through the roof. eddie was now flirting with you on and off screen, and the fans absolutely adored you as a couple. you quickly began to notice the way your heart would beat quicker when he's around, how you'd try to look your best to impress him, just the small things that made you realize that you had developed feelings for the charismatic latino.

— now, you weren't stupid. you knew eddie liked you. it was about the most obvious thing ever. everyone knew that you and eddie like each other, it was undeniable and you just looked like a couple, but as soon as someone asks, “are you guys dating?” “no..why?”

— at some point rey locked you two in his locker room and decided that no one's leaving the room unless you confess because he was sick of the unofficial third wheeling.

— “is it bad, that i'm like, in love with you cariña?”

— “no” you smiled, “ i was waiting for you to say it first”, and if rey's locker room's walls could talk, he'd know that you and eddie made out all over the place.

— he loves you so much one can see it in his eyes, just the way he looks at you indicates how much love he holds for you.

— he's your number one fan, he's always at ring side watching your matches to make sure that you're safe and sound. will always cheer for you and give you hugs and kisses regardless of if you won or lost.

— so protective of you ??? like not in a overly bad way, he just knows the way some people can be and he doesn't want you to get hurt. always has his arms around you or watches you from afar to make sure you don't fall flat on your face :D

— not really jealous but he doesn't want anyone but him near you.

— he comes up with different nicknames for you every 3-4 minutes. that's his job now.

— on your days off he wants nothing more than cuddles. so many omg. like dawg, he won't let you go. LITTLE SPOON EDDIE PLS OMG :( he'd lay on your chest and let you play with his hair, literally falls asleep in 0.3 seconds if you pat on his hair.

— cooks for you all the time, like seriously, all you eat is the food he makes you.

— gets so worried when you're sick or tired, especially if it's on a day where you have matches. on a whole other level of protective when you're injured or pass out of exhaustion. has once convinced vince to give you a break before because he was so worried about you.

— hella goofy. like seriously, would pull pranks on you all the time, but you find him hilarious so he continues to prank you.

— you're literally not allowed to sit anywhere but on his lap. chairs, stools, couches, tables, are all jobless.

— he spoils you so much. saw you once just glance at a necklace, literally just glance, boy bought the whole set for you and you were like ??? thanks ???

— he's spoiled too, can be bratty sometimes. he knows he's your baby and will get his way with you, always.
