I just love the Titans so much! They are very intriguing, especially during the Golden Era of the Titans. It makes me wonder what they were like back then before Kronos went nuts due to paranoia and power. But I do believe he was a good King and uncle to all his nieces and nephews. He must be a strict king too and very loving to his family…

However, the damn prophesy ruined it all!! And it caused him to go nuts, especially when the Elder Six were born. It caused him to swallow them all out of fear except for little Zeus whom Rhea hid somewhere.

Anyway, I will try to explore them as I could in my current PJO fanfic, Tales of the Invincible Sun or TIS for short, while trying to keep close to the actual Myths with some twists in it. But it will be mostly in Helios’s POV and many others.

I like to collect vintage brass figurines and bookends, but just animals.

I am terrible at recognizing faces. When I lived in NYC I worked at an independent coffee shop in the East Village and the sheer amount of celebrity encounters I had without even realizing it until someone told me is ridiculous.

I'm an absolute sucker for things with giant fighting robots in them.

favorite season: winter. I like being COLD and I like when its DARK. doesn't really get cold here but for a few weeks, and those are my favorite couple of weeks.

continent where i live: North America

how i spend my time: besides writing? and reading? I listen to a lot of music, and I like to fiddle with web and graphic design things (though mostly for my stories). things not related in some tangential way to writing... uhhh... I like to work on my house. This year I built a library wall, gutted and redid my main bathroom, and installed new flooring. I do embroidery and linocut carving and other kinds of things in that realm, as well. Basically if I'm not writing/reading I attempt to do creative things with my hands.

are you published? I have several poems, short stories, and essays published in random places. I've been publishing Shadow's Prey serially for the last three (almost 4?) years, and am hoping to release physical/ebook copies of some things soon.

introvert/extrovert? introvert, mostly. I do have a tendency to explode on friends and rattle on about every thing that comes to my mind when I've been isolated too long, though.

favorite meal: my regional culture probably shows when I say gumbo or blackened redfish with crawfish etoufee (but only if my dad cooked the fish and my mom cooked the etoufee)

I mean, not trying to be aggressive at you fluffer, but yes. Of course there are doctors that want to help. Of course there are doctors that will take a person at their word, approach them with kindness and compassion, and view their beliefs and knowledge of their own body as more important than a hypothetical man's possession and progeny.

They are, however, terribly outnumbered by the many who don't respect AFAB bodies, especially fat bodies. People needing the help can also be hamstrung by location, access, and cost. Or even timing. It sounds like 15 years ago, there wasn't a doctor like that available for Lee. I've seen multiple friends have to be hospitalized and nearly die before their reproductive requests were taken seriously, and these were within the last five to six years!

Lee's frustration feels so valid. Insurance, access, cost, and doctor's ignorance has left them a lot to cope with, emotionally and physically. Systematically designed suffering is deeply unfair, and some rage at the machine is understandable.

Acknowledging that the system is changing can be very hopeful. It's a lovely ray of hope. But it is slow. The hope that things get better should be driving us to support policies that protect AFAB and uterus-bearing people's rights to decide their health.

so not only is the five and lila thing so weird just cus its his brothers wife but seasons 1-3 happen within about under a MONTH for five. in his 13 year old body. and in s4 his body is barely 18-19. lila and five met when his body was 13 and she was (in 2019) 30 (according to tua wiki). five was also mentally like 68???? HELLO? and by tuas4 his bodys about 18-19. a 36 year old. with a TEENAGER, let alone her HUSBANDS teenage mid 70s year old BROTHER.

not to mention, both insanely out of character for five, and lila, and diego to be so okay with it?? and not immediately murder five on the spot??

its weird. its so SO fucking weird. tuas4 was a SHITSHOW i was expecting SO much more, it shouldve just ended at s3.

every day i think about how much of a menace vash & lina & sheryl must have been as like. a family. like we see one day of their lives together & in it, lina runs into a bar because bandits are literally After Her Life & when they took her, sheryl was immediately like, "well, that's my granddaughter, so even though i'm an old woman, i guess it's time to shoot some bandits." while everyone around her was like. begging her to stop. then vash wakes up from Getting Shot By a Gun and says the exact same thing. they're an entire family of stampedes
