                   to say that the press tour had been exhausted would be a terrible understatement. blair couldn't remember the last thing she had been this tired, but at the same time, the blonde was enjoying every second of it. she had been cast as the leading actress for a highly anticipated movie, a chance of a lifetime that would undoubtedly set off her career. it didn't help that her co-star was ridiculously attractive and she was having trouble understanding if their chemistry was more than just for the camera. pearly whites are chewing nervously on her bottom lip as she knocks on his door, his room right across the hall from hers. " hey," she greets him, " i was wondering if you wanted some company, or maybe i wanted some company and was wondering if you wanted to maybe watch a movie with me or something? " a nervous laugh falls from plump petals, and she's cursing herself on the inside for how awkward the interaction seemed to be.​

it's late, the digital clock on her best friend's nightstand tells her that it's sometime after two am yet despite her countless attempts, sleep doesn't seem to be claiming her anytime soon. a soft sigh falls from plump petals as digits reach for her phone, scrolling absently down the screen until she decides to open the dating app she has been relying on to meet people for the past month or so. she'd been mindlessly swipping left and right until a familiar face shows up on her screen, and not just a familiar face, her best friend's older brother's face. breath catches somewhere between her throat and lungs, pearly whites sinking into her bottom lip as she finds herself admiring his picutres. he's always been handsome, but terribly off limits to her. without another thought, she swipes right, cursing at herself the second that she does so. it's fine, she tells herself, there's no way he's gonna swipe right, is there ? / @afterglitch , based on ♥

            steely blue hues are glancing out of the window as the sound of the elevator coming up registers with her, stealing a soft smile from crimson lips. "hey," the brunette greets the other as she comes into view, long legs carrying her closer. "did anyone see you?" of course she was more than happy to see her, but there was no such thing as being too careful. small palms move to the other's face, her lips stealing a soft peck from her petals. "i missed you."

               "the thing is gates, i don't date frat boys," blair points out with a soft shrug, a soft smirk tugging at crimson petals as she takes a sip of the bitter liquid in her cup. "so keep dreaming, because it's not going to happen." but that didn't stop her from fantasizing about it, not that she would admit it to him, or anyone for that matter but her hatred for the male was nothing but a masquerade.
