 I really love Shohreh in The Expanse as the FC for Ana’Hira’s mother / the woman she was cloned from... cause her vibe in that show fits 100%.

‘We’re at WAR with the most powerful enemy we’ve ever fought. We’re getting buttfucked left, right and sideways on all front by the Kree, The Shi’ar, the FUCKING Earthlings now too? We really gotta get our lives the fuck together... Fuck it, I’m calling an audible. Here’s a litre of my blood, go down to the cloning labs and clone me some kids- NO I DON’T WANT TO HAVE MORE KIDS, ARE YOU HIGH? I’VE GOT AN EMPIRE TO RUN. And if the technology in The Expanse was that advanced, that’s exactly what would be happening. She plays that exasperated, too-pretty but tired of fucking around queen role to perfection.

#its a call-back to the original Skrull God when he first uttered the phrase he pacified the hearts of a nation of bloodthirsty skrulls uniting their two clans into the basis of the empire as it is today His will was linked to the book of worlds and his love formed the basis of both The Change and The Eternal drive. Ana’Hira carries it forward in his memory but also as a weapon her love is more easily spread it reaches farther and wider.  Her empire will truly be eternal and you know why? because she loves you.

What does she loves you mean in the context of your blog?

SHE LOVES YOU is the Skrull-Equivalent to... say, Amen or Inshallah. It’s a declaration of attention, affection and adherence to the greater Skrull Religion. 

When one says it, they could be saying ‘The Goddess stands behind these actions.’

 We will succeed in our quest. She Loves You.

It could be a phrase of reaffirmation, providing hope or courage to the disillusioned.

 I know you’re suffering...  but remember, She Loves You.

When uttered by Ana herself, it serves both purposes and even more. It’s her claiming her position, invigorating the masses and stimulating their asses. It’s a warcry, it’s a prayer, it’s a psalm and a balm. When you know that your Goddess, your personal savior loves you... what can’t you accomplish?

As the only living writer who understands the Skrull people and what they’re about, I’m declaring here and now that the chosen people are most analogous to Western & Southern Asian cultures on Earth. Ana’Hira has Cosmic Awareness, so she ‘has approximate knowledge of many things’, but something she’s canonically gotten wrong in ALL of her forms, dolls and identities, are Names & Faces.

She’ll ‘gloss over’ it by saying she’s skimmed the cosmic libraries instead of truly reading the volumes of knowledge inherent to the subject she’s intending to ‘know everything about’, but in reality that’s just a flaw in her clone design. She was meant to be ‘The Actress’ of S’Byll’s children, and she has a hard time remembering her lines, blocking and scene partners.

So to hide this deficiency of hers, she’ll use nicknames. Ones that have to do with physical appearances (hair color, aesthetics, etc. etc.) but rarely, if ever, nicknames that have to do with the PERSON. This is also why she’s such an over-reliance on ‘My love’, ‘my darling’, ‘baby’ and other pet names for people, places and things.

There are very few people who’s names she remembers 100% of the time, and even less who have nicknames related to them as people as opposed to their physical stature.

So, if she knows your name, and has a pet name for you based on that name? You have more status in her heart than even some cosmic wonders that actually exist where her heart should be.

Congratulations! And remember, she loves you.

Angela’s eyes DO have hearts in them.

No, she doesn’t wear contacts. (She does, but not cosmetic ones, her eyes are actually really bad!)

They’re tints for the windows to her soul! Obscuring the view into that ‘place’ because the contents of such a thing are either non-existent for Angela, or a human rights violation~

Angela used to hate being around Genis (for a multitude of reasons, honestly. but today we’re here to talk about one reason!) specifically because he had too much god damned stamina! She used to flirt with him and tease him and rile him up, just for the hell of it. Without even thinking half of the time, she’d tell him something, or say something in a way that had him looming behind her with his hands up her shirt moments later.

  The issue wasn’t that he was handsy, or eager to dick her down, it was that he could fuck for HOURS. Literal HOURS with a power source from some fucking corner of primal existence she could never seem to exhaust. She’d have to tell him ‘This is a QUICKIE, Genny! A QUICK. ONE.” because his ‘quickies’ could last up to two hours, and his Longies could last HALF THE FUCKING DAY.

If Angela isn’t eating a decent amount of food every 4 hours, she’ll actually collapse in on herself like a dead star. So mid ‘kree justice’ she has to tell him to peel her off of the mattress / windowpane / SWORD Agent Desk and carry her to the nearest Kitchen / Fast Food Restaurant / Commissary so she can stuff her face and not try to eat him and restart the oldest of race wars in the cosmos AGAIN!!

Ana’Hira & Loki met years ago and bonded over the pocket monster sobble, and having big tiddies. They eventually grew to become BEST friends and now they’re starring in their own Marvel Ongoing Series helpfully titled ‘Goddesses: Green & Gold’ wherein they go on a Cosmic Road Trip to find the best cocaine in the universe.

Ana’Hira has her ‘Infinite Forms’ thing that she took from S’lg’urt after HERCULES AND HIS FUCKING GOD SQUAD KILLED HER!!! That’s fine. it’s fine. Fuck Secret Invasion. Okay, anyway!

Ana’Hira has her infinite forms, and in that chaos she’s distilled two permanent fixtures: Beatrice & Angela. Both exist separately from Ana’Hira, having corporeal forms, thought processes and spatial relations that exist away from Ana’Hira.

Beatrice is a static individual. Working WAY too hard to get up to most kinds of fuckery & nonsense during the day.

Angela, however, is very kinetic. There’s the form she’s made by studying her ‘parents’ and morphing herself constantly, subtly, in order to match their perceived forms. Truly casting herself as their daughter.

There’s her Public Face form that she wears when she’s trying to be out in the world and NOT properly known as herself. She takes meetings like that, goes shopping, dancing, clubbing, on and on. That’s her ‘I AM gorgeous, but I’m not famously gorgeous’ face.

Then she’s got her fashion face! The one that exists in the world beyond America. Her regular presence is well known globally, sure, but she can’t wear her Public Face in Milan. SWORD throws a bitch fit if she’s in too many places at once, so she has to disguise herself WHILE disguising herself! It’s completely ridiculous, but Abby Brand is a cold bitch who doesn’t take ‘I don’t wanna!’ for an answer.

I know... that Angela is tall. 6′3 or 6′4. She also wears platform boots most of the time to push up to 6′7 and 6′8. She likes to be tall.

Ana’Hira is always the ‘perfect’ height. Like ’The Mother of Existence’ in the Spawn comics (i’m still mad at you, Todd, but you get a pass for now.) she appears however the person perceiving her thinks she should appear. Height, Appearance, Build, Voice. She is always the embodiment of true love in a person’s eyes.  Unless she steps up and goes ‘Nope! My face now.’

Beatrice though... I think she’s small. 5′4. Maybe 5′5 on a good day. She is small, and filled with a lot of love for the people of existence, thus. Tiny healer, who tried to help the wrong person and paid for it with her life.
