“Damn, Nasir. I ain’t seen yo’ ass in a fat ass minute. What’s been up, man?”
Senior year for Nasir was his prime. Being that he was finally getting recognized for his many achievements in track and the fact that he’d had a major glow up and growth spurt over the summer, the girls were definitely starting to notice him a lot more than usual. He was definitely enjoying all the attention being thrown his way. He was a single man and it’d been that way for a while but the bachelor life started to treat him real nice during that short time span. Obviously, relationships were the last thing on the young man’s mind. He had a few consistent partners that he bounced between but there was a certain girl that he got comfortable with and became reckless. In a matter of three weeks, she came to him with some news.
“Nasir, I’m pregnant.”
Nasir had no idea what to think in the beginning. The last time he got a girl pregnant, she got the baby aborted without discussing it with him. He decided to not get his hopes up but when it came down to planning, setting up the nursery, and picking out names, he had a change of heart. He couldn’t wait to meet his son, Diego Jahseh Dunn. Nasir and his baby moma have been great coparents. Nasir is proud of his baby boy and plans to continue to be the best father he can be, but he likes to keep the idea of him having a son lowkey. Not because he’s ashamed of being a father, but social media is full of vultures and over the years Nasir has grown a shorter and shorter fuse.
After finding out about his unborn child, Nasir quickly changed his plans of continuing his track career. He was weeks away from signing with The University of Alabama on a full ride scholarship but he just didn’t believe he could take care of his son with that.
“Mom, Dad,” Nasir started off, “I don’t think I’m gonna sign with Alabama anymore. Instead, I’m gonna go to school at the University of Southern California to pursue a career in computer science.”
A lot of people blamed his baby moma for him giving up his career but he never once had any animosity toward her for his own decision making. He felt it was the right thing for him and besides, everything happens for a reason, right?
In high school, Nasir knew his way around computers and hacking into systems with the help of many classes concerning coding. Upon graduation, one of his fellow soon to be classmates at University of Southern California took interest in Nasir and his way of hacking into systems. For about a year and a half Nasir was working with students, hacking into any kind of system to help them with their grades.
“Yo, I need somebody to sell these packages for me. You think you could do it?”
At first the young male was completely against it. That was until he started to want more for his son and that made Nasir have a change of heart, making him the universities’ number one pill and weed dispenser. His business eventually expanded into Hollywood, providing for some of the biggest names in the industry. Too bad his parents aren’t aware of that.
About two years ago, there was a tip that sparked the re-opening of a cold murder case from five years ago. That tip led to the police having high suspensions of the Dunn family being involved. When Nasir was taken in for questioning, he had no idea what to think. At the time of being under surveillance, Nasir had just gotten over the guilt he felt for murdering his close friend and leaving his family to wonder. If it wasn’t for the continuous turn of events in Nasir’s life, he probably would’ve confessed to the crime, but he had too much to be free for. Plus, the police didn’t have enough evidence to hold him, so they let it go. It wasn’t long before the tabloids got ahold of the story and ran with it. Had everybody Nasir knew questioning him, wondering if he really did it. He indeed did do it but he couldn’t come clean now.

Nasir Amir Dunn is the adopted child of Tia Mowry-Dunn and Cory Dunn. The family originated in Houston, Texas but when his mother received another acting gig, they picked up and moved to Inglewood in the middle of his eighth grade year.
Tia Mowry is a well-known actress originally known for her hit TV show, Sister, Sister with her identical twin sister. She also played medical student Melanie Barnett in the show The Game. Mowry was born on July 6, 1978 in West Germany while her father served in the U.S Army. Career wise, Nasir’s mother appeared in Smart Guy and a kids cartoon, Detention during the 1990′s. With her hit show with her sister coming to an end, she decided to study psychology at Pepperdine University. Nasir’s mother went to have many other successful acting jobs.
Cory Dunn, formerly known as Cory Hardrict, is an American actor. Cory was born in Chicago, Illinois on November 9, 1979. He’s known for his appearances on Smart Guy, Felicity, Once and Again, and ER. He made his film debut with Never Been Kissed alongside Drew Barrymore.
The couple initially met on the set of Sister, Sister when Cory appeared on the show for an episode but did not become romantic until a few years later after meeting again on another filming set.
Tia and Cory adopted Nasir when he was only 3, making it easy for it to be believable that they were his biological parents. They thought of Nasir of their own, thinking it was useless to tell him about the adoption.
Neither Ashleigh nor Nasir can remember the exact moment they met but they can both agree on one thing. They’re family now because of the connection they have through their son. The birth of Diego was the best thing that could happen to Nasir. It changed his life tremendously and made him mature quickly. He wanted to be there for his son the way his father was there for him. Ashleigh is the best person to share a child with. She doesn’t give Nasir a hard time nor does she cause any drama in his life. The two have a set agreement on the way Diego should be raised and the way they should treat each other.
