The truth is eating away at her. She’s been so open and honest with the twins about pretty much everything… except for exactly who she is. She doesn’t want either of them to hate her for being the reason this stupid curse exists. It’s her fault. If she had only controlled herself better, the ritual would have worked. Enar would have lived and her father wouldn’t have created the coven’s curse. Her mind is battering her and, thankfully, Josie makes herself known. She can’t tell her, not now. “Oh, hi, Josie.” Linnea is trying to be her usual self, to hide her thoughts from the teen siphoner. “Yeah, I’m okay. Just restless. What brings you to the roof in the dead of the night?”

Linnea is a little taken back by the request. It’s been a while since anyone offered to walk her home. She doesn’t really NEED it but she won’t reject the company. “Sure, Noah.” The siphoner nods, smiling slightly in his direction. “But we’re stopping somewhere for a milkshake.”

She had snuck out of their bed and headed up to the roof following a series of short nightmares. Nightmares, when sleeping next to Remy, were usually few and far between so this night was completely out of the ordinary for her. Hearing his voice startled her but honestly? It also causes her to calm down a little. “Remy, sweetheart…” She immediately stands up and runs over to him, arms wrapping around his torso so she can hold him close. “No. I’m not. The nightmares… They won’t stop.”

Her eyes are set upon the stars, silently searching for constellations. Her focus is broken by Jo’s appearance. “Hmm?” She tilts her head towards the other girl. “Oh, yeah. I’m fine. Just thinking.” Linn’s gaze returns to the night sky. “You know, way in the day, we used the stars to navigate.” She speaks fondly, memories of her childhood flooding in. “I remember my father took me and my brother out to sea when we were about seven.” A laugh quickly follows. “He left Enar in charge of navigation and… Well, we had to use magic to get home since my twin managed to get us lost.” A single tear now falls from her eye, rolling down her cheek. “It was one of the best nights of my life.”
