Spending a day with Xavier (headcanon)

first post on tumblr, yippie!! i thought of a headcanon while making a xavier inspired bedroom in ts4 where i envisioned him and mc playing console games in bed together while cuddling and finally go to writing it. so here's some xavier fluff for you, enjoy!! (˶ᵔ ᵕ ᵔ˶)

Xavier

On the off chance that he wakes up before you, he would lie on his side, facing you. He’d spend at least half an hour to an hour just admiring you, lightly stroking your cheek while playing with a few strands of your hair as the warmth of the morning rays shines into your shared bedroom. Sometimes, you’d wake up to those deep blue eyes staring at you. He’d give you a soft smile as he leans in closer, kissing your forehead and whispering a "good morning" in his morning voice. If you didn’t wake up, he’d spend so long admiring you that he would end up falling back asleep, only waking after you wake him. He would rub his eyes, still half-asleep, and pull you closer, trapping you in his embrace as he slowly drifted off once more. If you tried to put up a fight, he’d just hug you tighter, groaning and groggily shushing you. Either way, you’d end up falling asleep again because of how comfortable it was, and the two of you would sleep well past noon.

Once you had actually gotten out of bed, you'd spend most of the day lazing around at home. He would (attempt to) make pancakes for lunch, but they would all end up slightly burnt. You didn’t mind, though, as his cooking had gotten a lot better, and you were used to the taste by now. Besides, you appreciated the thought and effort more than the taste. He'd sit across from you, cutting his portion of food into bite-sized pieces, feeding you bites of pancake and berries, urging you to eat more.

Not long after getting out of bed, you'd find yourself back in it after lunch, booting up the gaming console and TV in front of your bed. Xavier would sit up, leaning against the headboard, while you sat between his legs, resting your back against his chest, holding your controller as he wrapped his arms around you, his own controller in hand. You’d spend most of the day cuddling in bed, playing a bunch of different games, and occasionally watching some videos before going back to playing both newer and older co-op games.

Once bored of playing games, Xavier would suggest taking a walk and going to the store together to buy some snacks and food. You would begrudgingly agree, simply because you were so comfortable in his arms. He’d let out a laugh, bending down to kiss your forehead and pulling you closer to his chest. "We’ll put on a movie, eat our snacks, and continue once we get back home," he’d tell you. And so, off you went, hand in hand, on your way to the store as the sun slowly started setting.

After buying a bag full of snacks and food, you would walk back home and eat your dinner, the previously lit sky now painted blue and purple, the only light source being the moon and the stars. After eating, he’d do the dishes while you set up the living room—lighting candles and grabbing a few plushies out of the closet filled with everything you had won at the arcade to decorate the sofa. Then came the fuzzy blanket, and then the snacks. Xavier would plop down on the sofa, patting the spot between his legs, and you’d plop down in between them, tangled up in each other’s warmth once again, watching movies, eating snacks, and occasionally chit-chatting.

Typically, you would always fall asleep while cuddling with him on the sofa, and this time would be no exception. You’d doze off while watching some romcom, and Xavier would gaze down at you with soft eyes before shutting off the TV, blowing out the candles, and carrying you bridal-style to the bedroom. He’d gently lay you down on the bed before heading back to the living room to clean up. Then, he would silently trudge back to the bedroom, slipping in next to you and pulling you close before falling asleep to the moonlight seeping through the blinds, gently caressing the soft silhouette of you both.
