unwillingly evil

you were forced. your resolve was broken slowly but surely, and now you're unsure of whether you'll ever get it back. for some reason, you believe that your current position is your fault. it isn't. it's the fault of those who did it to you. and yet you soldier on, facing forwards even as you slowly lose your will to continue. when you die, you're calm. unafraid for the first time in a while. this is the one thing they can't take from you.

this world has been unkind to you. you don't truly believe you're loved. you don't believe anyone will miss you, and that is exactly why you cannot be free. the gods need you to see that you matter. you're loved. you are worthy of being mourned. you believe that being gone will make no difference. you can't fathom the fact that maybe, just maybe, you were cared for in your time on earth. in order to be free, you must realize that you will be missed. to acknowledge that you were loved is your key to being free. you've been hurt by this world, but that does not mean you have no one. you will be grieved the way you deserve to be, if only you accept the fact.

the almost kiss

you're unsure about things, always hesitating. why is that? maybe there's something to lose for you, but maybe (just maybe) the risk is worth it. you're the moment when the main characters lean in, lips parted and almost touching. but it's not the actual kiss everyone loves, it's the anticipation. when they look into each other's eyes before their lids flutter close. and there's a lot of frustration when things are interrupted. trust me though, you're a lot more memorable than the actual kiss. you're nervous, but at the end of the day all you want is to be loved.
