  Digits  reach  forward,  sketching  the  contours  of  cedar  wood   and  cold  iron  of  the  front  door  of  the  mansion.  It  spills  through  her  fingertips  with  the  smoothness  of   freshly-made marble  and  sings  throughout  her  senses.  It  was  too   perfect;  only  fit  for  the  lord  of  the  mansion  to  have  the  finest  cuts  of  wood  for  a  front  door  to  his  manse. 

She  retracts  at  the  thought,  her  head  still  swimming  over  all   the  history  that  arose  from  this  singular  spot.
