Carla's expression instantly became more enraged with the blonde girls remarks, tightening her grip on the scissors, Carla continued. "You know damn well-- Penny is bawling her eyes out and you are sat there all goody-goody!"

Of course, Carla didn't care much for Penny, nor how she felt, but Cindy's smug expression led Carla to feel something tug on her throat, leading her to call out the bratty girl speaking to her.

"Explain it, now!" Carla shoved her hands into her jacket pockets, the scissors now being in her pockets, as she spoke, a noticable hispanic accent became audible between her words.

Ugh! Who does this girl think she is!? Wonder woman!? Cindy furrowed her eyebrows, but still kept her smug smile. From what she had learned, smilling at people who are mad makes them furious. ——– She learned that mostly the hard way from her mother.—— Cindy wanted a rise out of Carla. She got the reaction she wanted from Penny - that is, her crying, - but that wasn't enough for her. She scoffed and crossed her arms.

“Listen here, Buttercup. I don't have to explain myself to you! ” Cindy provoked again, putting her hands on her hips, moving her face closer to Carla's. “It was just simple fun! and if you or your little classmate can't handle that, then that's not my problem.” She took a quick glance and Penny, then turned her look back to Carla. “It's not ma' fault you're so whiny, because that gum is nothin'! ” Cindy stated, her southern accent slightly slipping out.

Wanna go accent for accent? Wanna fight fire with fire? Fine. If that's what the Red Cross Wonder Woman wants, then so be it. Cindy's not scared. She had gotten into fights before. She's not weak. And she knows that.

Cindy leaned even closer to Carla. It felt risky, but thrilling. “If you can't handle a little gum in someone's hair, then that's too bad.” She smirked, and flicked Carla's nose, like if she was a rabbit.

—— That felt like life or death. Cindy had no interest in even slightly hovering her finger over some dumb girl, but she did it anyway, just to mess with her. She knew Carla could jump her like an angry dog. But it was fun seeing her nose scrunch up, her eyes widen is absolute disbelief and her jaw fall to the floor.

“Ya better close that mouth before some nasty fly flies up there, sweetie.” Cindy added the final straw to the few-seconds-long provocation. She spun on her heels away from Carla and began to walk away.
