It's been a while since I've read a good fleshed out jjk angst fic and every corner of this house is haunted is so good. I really hope reader won't fold and end up giving in 😫 I really hate when it takes the person walking away for their partner to suddenly want to be better. Nobody is perfect, but it takes effort and communication from both parties and it seems it's been one sided from reader's side. It's the last straw. I hope she has the self respect to walk away and find her peace. It's really sad because I know about some of my mom's acquaintances who have gone through that and it's heartbreaking, especially when children are involved. They're basically married single wives/moms. If you've thought about the ending already and it's a happy one, I hope Nanami works through his shit first before tons of groveling and then comes the forgiveness. Though I'm a masochist so I enjoy those tear jerking angsty endings 😂

i'm gonna be honest when i posted the first chapter, i did not expect so many people to want a other parts and now i'm kind of just winging the whole thing.

but yes i completely agree with what you said, hence why i wrote the last chapter the way i did. i don't plan on hurrying the plot and kind of want a slow burn for it. i totally get what you mean by married single wives because i've seen it happen in real life, too. i won't disclose what i have in mind for the ending but i promise you there will be more character and plot developments.
