Cucumber had been very hesitant to leave the area where he lived. It was nice, cozy, welcoming .... safe. But he couldn't stay in his house forever, if he was going to be a hero then he had to work on his courage more ( at least, that's what Almond would make him do )
At the very least, he would start off easy-ish. A mall was a familiar enough location, and he was hoping to try and do some shopping too. He was lucky he came with winter clothes when it was cold here.
The mall was very loud, full of people shopping, talking, and generally meandering around. Cucumber was much smaller in comparison, doing his best to dodge and weave between the legs of the people who didn't seem to notice the little red-haired bunny.
He was doing well ... until-
BAMPH!
He collided right into the legs of a stranger.
"A-AH!" He cried out, falling backward from the surprise. "Oh gosh, I-I'm sorry!! It was an accident!" He apologized quickly, looking up at the person he ran into.

"....wha-" WHAT IS THAT?! Cucumber stared in curiosity at the... thing the human pulled out. He'd never seen anything like it ( it reminded him of something else he wasn't fond of )
The thing... the woman ( ? ) was asking him if he wanted a direction... huh. It was kinda nice of this person to help him out, even when Cucumber was the one who ran into him.
"O-oh uh. Sure, yeah. That'd be really helpful... um." How does he ask this in a good way? "What are you???"
Yeah, that's a good way.
"..." Oh. That'ssssssss... not a costume. On closer look, the child appears to be more like something between a bunny and a boy. Nope, he's not going to comment on it.
Seto remains stooped down at eye-level with him, quietly observing how nervous the poor kid looks. He wordlessly reaches into his pocket and pulls out his phone, and with a few taps, Mimi lights up to life beside him.
"I have a suggestion, Mr. Kaiba," she says pleasantly.
"I would hope so..." Seto grumbles. Why else would he have opened the damn app?
Mimi bypasses Mr. Kaiba's jab at her and diverts her attention to the lost (?) boy. "Mimsy Department Store may be the best place to look for winter clothes. I can show you the way there if you'd like."
Seto shrugs, then looks at the kid.

Personal... virtual assistant? They definitely didn't have anything like that in Dreamside. But she seemed pretty friendly, in fact, the person using her seemed pretty confident about that fact.
He can't help but laugh a little bit when he puts his hand through her. Though quickly covered his mouth - he didn't want to be rude to her. Maybe it was uncomfortable having someone's hand go through you.
"O-okay. Yeah we uh... shall." He smiled at Mimi and also smiled at the person who had her. "Um... my name's Cucumber by the way... I really appreciate you a-and Mimi helping me out." He thought it would be nice to be a little friendly. Maybe
"My name is Mimi, and I'm Seto Kaiba's personal virtual assistant." Mimi introduces herself calmly. She notes that the small creature appears to be wary of her.
"It's just a hologram. Nothing to be afraid of." Seto says nonchalantly as he reaches his hand through the projection of Mimi to demonstrate. She doesn't bother objecting to it this time; she knows well enough by now that he's just going to keep doing as he pleases.
"There's an app on my phone that projects the image and voice, and it's programmed with artificial intelligence," he explains coolly.
"Shall we, then?" Mimi asks without missing a beat, even with Mr. Kaiba's hand waving through her and distorting her image... again.

Cucumber was surprised he didn't get more of a reprimand, but he was grateful nonetheless to not get scolded for a mistake. A quick assessment of himself proved he was unharmed, just a little frazzled.
What truly surprised the small creature, was the next question. To him, it was hard to say whether or not he was lost, considering he wasn't headed in a direction and he couldn't find a directory for the life of him either.
"U-uh, thanks." He timidly answered, taking the hand of the human he ran into, and returning to a standing position. He dusted himself off of the mall floor dirt as he continued.
"I-I don't think so. I was looking for winter clothes but... this mall is so big.... I-I don't know where to start." Hands fell in front of him as he fidgeted with his fingers. He felt a little silly being so scared of a mall, but everything looked so big to him.
Feeling comfortable enough with the lay of the land in Seaside, Seto decides to venture out a little further today and takes the monorail over to Clearview District. Mimi had pinned the location of Clearview Heights Mall for him, mentioning that it was home to not just shops for all his daily needs, but an arcade and other games and attractions that he may want to check out. She notes that he looks like he could blow off some steam. Thanks, Mimi. Always helpful.
When he arrives at the mall, he finds himself once again lamenting not having a personal shopper like he had back home. Way too many people buzzing around here today. He heaves an exasperated sigh and begins looking for a directory so he can get right where he wants to go, when he feels something collide with his legs, nearly tripping him. He recovers his balance quickly before he could fall over.
He wants to be annoyed, but he knows without even looking that it's a little kid that bumped into him. Just a kid, he talks himself down from his rising temper. When he looks down, he sees a small child with red hair wearing some kind of bunny costume on the floor in front of him.
"Careful, kid." Despite his best efforts to stuff it down, a hint of annoyance creeps into his tone as he says this. Where the hell are your parents? He wonders as the boy apologizes profusely in a panic, but he keeps that question to himself. Instead he just asks, "You lost?"
Not that Kaiba would be of any help- he has no idea where he's going either- but maybe Mimi can direct him to mall security or something. He crouches to his knees and reaches out his hand to help the boy up from the ground.
