WDYM Daniil's stress levels would jump when he is aiming at other people, the sound of the town being overpowered by his own heartbeat. And there are going to be emotional stats like apathy and hysteria now??? Oh my capital man is in for a such horrible time.

But honestly, if they are getting rid of the old survival mechanics (because I remember Nicolai writing about that a few years ago) and switching them on maintaining emotional condition of our mc - that could be actually really fun while still being technically parallel to the original game. ESPECIALLY since Daniil's ending in the og game is more about his view of the world being completely shattered, than anything physical. Haudksla I just love when games tie main characters condition and world view to the gameplay like that.
