 hand  rests  on  his  hip,  butterflies  fluttering  in  her  stomach.  they’d  never  been  this  close  before  and  she  was  terrified.  the  last  person  she’d  trusted  enough  to  be  this  close  to  had  broken  her  heart  in  two.  she  didn’t  know  if  she  was  really  ready  to  let  someone  in  again.  theo  had  swooped  in  and  made  her  fall  hard,  and  after  weeks  of  thinking  about  it,  she’d  finally  decided  to  make  a  move.  her  eyes  searched  his  face  for  any  sign  that  she  should  stop,  and  when  she  didn’t  see  one,  she  pressed  her  lips  to  his,  soft  lips  colliding  against  each  others,  and  in  that  instant,  everything  felt  right  in  the  world.  even  though  everything  was  going  to  shit,  she  was  content  to  wrap  herself  up  in  him  and  ignore  the  rest  of  the  world.  she  was  breathless  when  she  finally  pulled  away,  a  goofy  grin  on  her  face.
