What’s the reason for them being so upset..?? They broke their favorite necklace and now of course, the world is shattering around them.

Haven was usually very upfront and blunt with things they wanted. They often weren’t shy about asking, or just doing.

So when they found themselves feeling a little needy, for lack of better words. They immediately made their way over to Church. And with only a low humming purr being given, soon they had placed themselves delicately in his lap. Immediately taking his hands afterwards and bringing them up to their breasts. Letting him rest his palms against them and leaning back against his body with a trill-like chirping sound.

Ah yes, this is exactly what they wanted…

Sad fishy noises are given when a certain siren presses their hands against their stomach and sprawls across the nearest hard surface, as dramatically as they can manage.

Seems like someone wasn’t feeling too hot today.

There could be a million reasons as to why that was-- But the most likely reason? They probably ate something they weren’t supposed to.

A string of maniacal little giggles are heard from the siren before they sneakily hold up a glass of something pink and take a long sip while looking around.

Today had been a loooong day. Haven usually didn’t mind their new job. They loved people and loved little kids even more! They loved the theme park and everything about being the ‘princess’ of said park too. In most cases, they were a naturally social creature. So getting to walk around and play make-believe all day was like a dream come true for them!

But that still didn’t mean the job couldn’t be.. Tiring after a while.

They gave a long yawn and a stretch as they drug their way back towards their dressing room. And they only stopped when they noticed Fizzarolli a few feet away from them.

Then, whatever exhaustion they may have been experiencing before, seemed to melt away momentarily, in favor of hurrying over to the robot and immediately giving him a hug from behind.

“Hi hi sweet fizzy fishy mine! Have missed this day!”

Granted they DID see him earlier this morning but shh.

When Church said he wanted to visit the beach for something fun, Haven expected something along the lines of swimming in the dark, collecting pretty shells, or burying each other in the sand.

It was late when they arrived there, and they had only been walking along the water’s edge for a little while, before suddenly, and much to their surprise, Chuch had spoken something and had gotten down on one knee. Holding up some sort of tiny but indeed, very shiny, piece of jewelry.

Their fins perked at the sight, and they stared at it for a moment or two. Then to Church. And it was almost like one could actually see the cogs turning in their head as they tried to figure out what was going on right now.

Was... He... Giving this to them? Why was he being so dramatic about it? They felt like they were missing something, or not understanding.

But, in an attempt to not be rude, they do take the tiny offering and give a confused smile to him.

“... Thank?? Is-- Many pretty! Havie much love thing this.” They said sheepishly. Holding the tiny thing and looking at it curiously before trying to figure out just.. Where exactly it was supposed to go. (They’d never owned a ring before, so a lot of things were new to them tonight.)

Who’s shocked? Absolutely no one. Haven is friend shaped. (Though maybe they could try not getting themselves into trouble so often.)

The voice caught the siren off-guard, and after having sat up and paused in their momentary struggle, they looked around with flared fins until they met the gaze of the stranger who had spoken to them.

Shifting in the sand, they gave a cautious expression, then seemed to immediately grow defensive. Their eyes narrowed and they sort of leaned forward in a quick motion to hiss in the other’s direction.

Though, despite not answering the stranger’s question straight away, it was clear by now that everything was not alright.

Their tail and part of their arm had been caught in a fisherman’s net. And that net was probably the only thing keeping them from lunging at him. But it was also keeping them from being able to swim or get away from danger as well.
