              HE   WAITS   PATIENTLY   in   the   lobby   of   the   venue   for   his   date.   attending   another   one   of   these   fancy   yearly   party’s   always   held   an   air   of   dullness.   having   to   forcibly   converse   with   other   business   people   trying   to   make   a   pitch   for   his   partnership,   only   seeing   him   as   an   opportunity   ——   especially   with   him   being   labeled   as   nothing   but   ‘a   child’,   oh   how   it   bored   him,   oh   how   it   irritated   him.   however,   the   times   when   he   attended   these   events   with   suzuha,   kyoya   always   felt   more   at   ease.   he   could   actually   relax   &   enjoy   himself.   he   could   finally   be   himself   with   her   around.

              THE  ELEMENT  OF  SURPRISE  ,  well   , needless  to  say  —  he  excelled  at  it  .  not  that  it  was  hard  to  surprise  lady  amanosuzu  .  he  pleasantly  chuckles  at  the  sight  of  the  fan  raised  to  her  face  .  she  hasn ’ t  changed  one  bit  —  theatrical  as  ever  ,  he  muses  to  himself  .      ❛      do  i  really  only  come  by  for  business  matters  ,      ❜      a  silly  question  to  ask  intended  to  poke  fun  at  himself  .      ❛      simply  put  ,  i  came  for  a  visit  .      ❜      tea  at  the  amanosuzu  chateau  always  was  a  treat  .  satisfying  this  craving  &  having  a  pleasant  chat  sounded  like  a  good  afternoon  pastime  .      ❛      if  i  am  taking  up  precious  time  ,  i  don ’ t  mind  rescheduling  for  a  later  date  ?      ❜

“K-Kyoya Gaen?” Suzuha is quick to grab her fan, using it to cover her face to hide her embarrassment at his surprise visit. No one had told her he had arrived at her family’s castle, a mental reminder to scold the security department later. For now, she needed to keep her poise for she was facing a rather powerful young man. 

“W-What brings you to my humble home? I did not have advance notice you would be coming, and it is not like you to drop in uninvited.” It was behavior she would expect from someone like Gao Mikado, but not the head of the Gaen Financial Group. “Please, do come in and make yourself at home. If it is important matters you wish to discuss, then you can join me for tea in the drawing room if you’d like. Sebastian just finished preparing today’s special blend.”

“Kyoya Gaen…What are you up to this time?” By his look he is obviously not happy to see the fellow Buddyfighter, understandable considering their history. The events of the Gaen Cup and the incident that followed were still forefront in his mind, like a scar that might not ever properily heal. “Gao might still want to befriend you, but I’m not the same. You can’t fool me.”
