“Listen, there’s beer in the fridge. I got us some pizza and we can either watch a game or just play games with some healthy competition,” although hardly his usual choice of entertainment, there was also in the list the chance of getting high while playing video games, which for Dario only happened when he needed to relax, when days had been hard enough that alcohol wouldn’t be the main choice, however that option would be a plan B, kept in a metaphorical drawer. It was unlike Dario to stay at home for a friday night, but he wasn’t in the mood to go out that day, nor to end up in a stranger's bed, something about that week caused him to be extra needy and it’d often lead to bad choices. “How was your day? Hope me being at home didn’t get in the way of you having a date or meeting someone else here. Just say the word and I’ll grab a slice of pizza and stay in my bedroom for as long as it’s needed.”

He could’ve chosen anyone to be part of that event, yet he chose Heather. One of the few relationships in his life that he considered that worked as far as it could last, and led to a friendship. And she was exactly what he needed while going to a birthday party of someone working at the university that could help him with any future promotion he could have; which meant: a birthday party he couldn’t miss so they’d see him there. “Listen, any drink and food you get today is on me, okay? Thank you for coming, I needed someone here that wouldn’t stress me out or want to talk about anything work related,” leaning closer to Heather he whispered. “I’d prefer we were at my place watching High School Musical than this to be honest.”

— location: in front of pandora karaoke & bar — date and time: friday night — availability: closed | @gldnstars — imelda blom
"Ah, listen... You’re not gonna be mad at me, are you? It’s just one night over at a karaoke bar, give me the chance to sing All I Want For Christmas Is You and make Mariah Carey proud, after all– Christmas is just around the corner. Right?” there it was. His famous ‘puppy eyes’ while flashing a bright smile at the person next to him. “I promise you next time you’ll choose where we’re heading to, and today I could buy a round of drinks for the both of us which, to me, sounds like one hell of a great deal!” Dario just wanted to find excuses to head to a karaoke. It was part of his soft heart to pour out his emotions while holding a microphone and offering to the crowd not an amazing voice, but a good enough one to entertain them.
So whenever he had the chance he’d definitely drag friends along. Besides, there was something marvelous about watching drunk people singing songs they rarely listen to on a daily basis; the lack of inhibitions gave them enough courage that he’d applaud. “Are you afraid I’m going to trick you into singing a song you don’t want to? Or maybe that I’ll try my best to have you duet something with me?”

— location: in front of his apartment — date and time: thursday night — availability: closed | @ofthegolden — devon shao-wolff
Aren’t you a cliche, Dario Ortega? He mumbled to himself. The weather was still, somewhat, pleasant enough that he could stay over his balcony, appreciating the view in front of his apartment while his fingers held together the pen that carved in a paper a new poem, one that no one else would read but his own self. Those words were just an automatic sense of thoughts that were traversing his mind, a memory of his past, of moments that reminded him of people that were important to him, and in this case it was Devon that crossed his mind. If one of his friends was there, they’d probably restrain him from doing so. But for now, he embraced the softness of his heart while every phrase would turn into ink over the paper.
When he stopped his action, at first, Dario thought that he was seeing things. That there was a chance his mind was playing tricks with him again, though he thought a few times to text or call her that day. But then, leaning forward, his orbs found her and before he could think twice, Dario caught himself raising his voice a little bit to call her attention. “Devon?” And then he continued. “Wait, I’m heading downstairs. Or– would you like to come up here?”

— location: member’s only bar — date and time: friday night — availability: closed | @owenhughes
He was heading out for a couple of drinks after his shift. It seemed to be a good idea, he was certain that Echo could be by himself for a couple of hours before he would return home. It had been a stressful week, one that caused him to deviate from any thoughts to meet someone new by the bar and see where it’d lead him; this time Dario was simply being guided by his workmates to the bar of their choice and once he’d get there, he would grab a few drinks, have his share of fun and return to the comfort of his own bed by himself.
However, although that was still the plan, once he finally reached the bar, his eyes found someone else, which led to him stating for his mates: “get us a table, I’ll meet you there in a bit. I think I’ve seen a friend.” A friend. He wouldn’t say Owen was that, but apparently that was exactly the only spot he could keep the other man at. The bad habit of assuming everything would be a fairytale was the only wrong perspective sometimes Dario would have of situations and people that would enter his life and he shouldn’t blame anyone else but him, and with that once he reached closer to Owen, he called the bartender. “I’ll have what he’s having, and the next round is on me.” Then, he stopped for a second and thought: Shit. What if Owen was there with someone else? “Am I disturbing you? I just thought we could both use the company.” Which deep down meant: I just want to make sure we’re on good terms.
