Usopp smiled and looked proudly at his work as he held the chef's wrist. pulling the marker from his arm after adding the last touch. he was drawing, what looked to be a jolly roger version of the chef on his wrist. leaning to gently blow it dry.

“ You get to choose, which ones do you want? ” he beamed the brightest smile as he pulled out a rather old looking box.

it was just a cardboard one, full of old markers, pencils and coloring pastels. but, it could been seen it was very, very well loved and used over the years from the random streaks of color and pencil in the box, to the random spots of oil on the bottom. there were even a few newer markers in there as well! “ I don't have many blues, I keep loosing those somehow everytime i want to use them. ”

ᯓ .𖥔˚ It was strange, nothing like he had ever seen before. the merboy tilted his head as he stared at the navigator from where he swam behind her in his individual watertank. he didn't want to seem weird by staring. so each time she'd turn around, he'd quickly look away. but then soon his eyes would once again find their way to the strange device on her wrist.

his head tilting in order to get a better look at it. not to mention, she as a person was just as curious. he's never met anyone like her. he's still a bit shy to the crew, after all they were only bringing him home. but he's been, well silently observing them all from afar long enough to see their many personalities.

it was dangerous, for him to be on the edge like that. especially when the waves were so rough at this time. from what kaimen could see, there was a storm that was coming near by. normally — kaimen isn't supposed to talk to humans or even be at the shore but this was different right? it was just a kid . . . .

he couldn't just let them fall in and possibly get hurt with how many rocks there were around. there was he had to say something! “ Uh —- hey, kid! wait a second, get down from there! you could get hurt! ”

Just a little bit further . . . the vice captain attempted to keep himself stealthy as the team strawhats all skurried into the base, today the two teams were to supposed meet up in order to discuss a possible future partnering up they might need to do for the next mission. it was nothing new. the two teams often did partner up when an especially big threat was estimated.

But soshiro took this opportunity to tease and see his favorite fellow - vice captain! 1 . . 2 . . 3 !! “ here comes an — ATTACK !! ” he shouted as he dropped from the ceiling. calculating his drop perfectly to land on none other then vice captain zoro! immediately he locked his legs around his neck as well as his arm! his free hand moving to give zoro's green hair a nuggy!! “ Ahah! I got you this time, Roronoa!! ” he laughed as he attempted to wrestle the man mid hall Infront of their teams!

ི 𝄞 ྀ ⋆･. ˳ . it was the smell of the classic blue sea that filled the captain's senses. his own ocean blues with the reflection of pink was glued down in his current journal as he wrote of their recent journey. that childish glaze filling his eyes and aura as he hummed.

@theircurse sent the unprompted quest: the EXTREMELY DANGEROUS task of standing on a barrel just to pat Kaimen on the head.

His expression fell from his smile and melted into a curious pout as he blinked, his gaze raising from his book and out to the open sea. those eyes then shifted over to he right with recognition in his eyes.

“ well now, did someone grow twelve times taller then the last time i saw him thirty minutes ago? ” his smile widened as he glanced over towards kyusaku. “ you should be careful, champ. yee could fall. ” although there was a warning. he didn't really do anything to stop him. after all, he was just as careless most of the time.
